Beautiful building in a lovely area just a 15 min walk from the Duomo and the busier touristy areas. The room was absolutely stunning - really spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. It was lovely and quiet, and we enjoyed having breakfast in the garden. The breakfast was very nice - with a good selection of pastries, fruit, eggs… Shenal was really attentive and helpful. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Florence and who prefers staying in a boutique hotel in a quieter area.

There was nothing we did not like - our stay was perfect!

The room was well maintained with a lot of space. The bathroom and shower was well kept. The front desk personnel was nice and gave us instruction on how to best use the hotel room (curtain switches, showers, etc). The free breakfast was great and staff were very courteous.

Everything was enjoyable. The only thing that I wish could be better was the advice/knowledge provided by front desk when it comes to public transportation nearby. We had trouble with paying on the bus because drivers did not have tickets on hand but we scrambled to learn that tickets could be purchased using an app.

If you just take a look at the buildings on the streets you will realise that this is one of the few that is fully restored (and correctly) and has architectural lighting. The backyard together with the small terrace and the chairs, umbrellas are perfect, especially since they are under some old trees. The location is great - close to some really nice cafes and restaurants - Lietta, Perseus, Galleria dell’Accademia - and close also to a few bus stops, only 3 stops from central station. It looks exactly like in the pictures and you can really feel at home, unbothered and no busy hotel vibes. Also the street is very quiet and not crowded at all. Staff also makes you feel at home, show you everything you need: glasses, cutlery, bottle opener etc, so you can enjoy a bottle of wine on the terrace. Try it!

We did not find any slippers but we did not ask for them so it is not something that bothered us.

The room and hotel was beautiful and the breakfast in the morning was great! The hotel overall is lovely!

The location is not easy to get to! There were no trams that ran close to the location the buses took detours and trying to get a taxi from the train station is difficult with an hour queue. The hotel is not within walking distance to tourist spots especially in the heat. We also found it difficult communicating with reception on arrival due to language barriers.

the staff were really helpful, the location was away from the center so it’s nice and quite however it’s only a 20min walk or short taxi ride to get where you want to go. In addition, Fernando who is one of the staff was extremely helpful. despite the taxi strike, he arranged a car for us to take us to the train station. He was beyond helpful. definitely will come again just because of Fernando’s hospitality.

no staff available at 8pm, however they arrange ways for you to enter the hotel. sometimes I wish there was a security staff during the evening incase needed.

The property was very modern and my room on the ground floor opened up to a great street view (I would however recommend against a ground floor room if you’re a light sleeper due to moderate street noise at night)

Couldn’t use the toiletries in the bathroom as I was apparently allergic to something in them. They had a sign in the room stating they could provide some items if needed but when I asked for a sanitary pad the concierge seemed quite confused that I had asked lol.

I never leave comments on booking, but this hotel I would like give 101/100! The staffs are so friendly and helpful, what you see in pictures are actually way better than pictures when you see the hotel in reality. The place is quiet, and walkable to city Center. They can also call the taxi for you. I will definitely come back to Florence just because of this hotel. Highly recommend!!!!

The rooms were large, nicely decorated and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was good - essential for summer time! The staff at reception were very helpful and friendly.

It can be hard to get a taxi to/from the hotel but this seems to be a Florence-wide issue so it’s not a criticism for the hotel. They were helpful in booking us a taxi to the centre and to the airport.

We had the junior suite and the garden view was lovely especially because we were in the city. Very high rooms, a giant bathroom and flexible windows that can be opened in two ways. We had a lovely and very good host. The lights were fantastic as the automatic curtains. The breakfast was rich ans xould be eaten outside

As most hotels are, you could hear the other guests sometimes (especially that couple in the next room)

The staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival, they also gifted us a complimentary bottle of prosecco for our anniversary which was a nice touch. Great location a short 10 minute walk from the busy city centre!
