Overall an excellent " House " so to speak, as just like staying at a House & not a Hotel. It was an intimate setting with attentive & helpful staff & a lovely breakfast too. As for location ? 10 minutes walk from the Station & not much longer into the Town Centre. There were plenty of Restaurants with 10 minutes walk too & of excellent quality & realistic prices.

Just one thing really, it would have been nice to have had a small fridge to keep water cool but other than that, nothing at all to dislike.

Perfect location, easy access to all the main sites. We had the garden room. Liked that we could eat breakfast in the room next door or have the option to have it served in the room. Small bathroom, but it had everything you would need. Staff was excellent and always ready to help. Room was quiet and did not have any noise, wifi was good .

Would have like to have more than 4 items per person for breakfast ,Every item exceding 4 would cost money.

Excellent style, every room is different. The location is great, central, everything is walkable. Staff was very kind and warm, made us feel very welcome, helped with everything. Very recommended place. Would be on my list to come back.

it’s a pitty you cannot book the room you want. Every room is different and nice, but sometimes you might have particular wishes, since they are different. we had to beg to change mid stay. which the staff helped us with kindly, but would have been nice to have it pre-booked. Bare in mind it is an old building, so it will have some noise. The Twin rooms are on the first floor next to the food preparation area, so we heard a lot of plates and coffee making from the early morning.

Everything was exceptional about our stay from the service from the staff to cleanliness and layout of the rooms. They helped me with planning flowers and champagne after proposing to my girlfriend and even held the flowers when we left for Lake Garda and then came back to stay one more night before we left Italy. if you are looking for excellence and a departure from the normal chain hotels this place is excellent. Also close to main train station, tours and excellent restaurants.

I travelled with my family (we had 3 rooms) and we all loved the hotel. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were unique in their design. The location was brilliant and we all really enjoyed our stay. We all had breakfast in our rooms which was great and well managed by the hotel. I would stay at Casa Howard again for sure.

A unique style which is very hard to find . just a piece of heaven . welcoming staff , good continental breakfast on the terrace . soaps are fabulous best soap you will get anywhere . we went two doors down and bought them .location is great for rail station and the historic centre : Duomo , ponte vecchio . across the road is an exceptional restaurant ostriech pastalata : 1 week waiting list and long queues for home made pasta

Staff were very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help. The room service breakfast was excellent and the location to the train was an easy walk and to the town center, museums, etc was excellent as well. We have stayed at other locations close to the historic center of town where the noise was extremely loud. This was not the case at Casa Howard. It was quiet and we were able to sleep.

The property is in an excellent location. Very close to popular attractions like the Duomo, but also close to local neighborhoods for a more authentic Italian experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful; always checking in to see if they could make our stay more comfortable. Our room was well decorated, spacious, and clean. Also, the breakfast is amazing!

Great location, very friendly staff, clean and safe, very nice breakfast delivered to your room each morning - such a nice touch!

Didn’t care for being on the ground floor and the loft setting was a bit unnerving. Very high and made us uneasy about its stability.

We had such a warm welcome to Casa Howard. It was an easy walk from the train station and then we were happy to be in such a central location. The rooms were unique and comfortable and it was such a special place for our family to stay. The staff went above and beyond to help us with dinner recommendations and anything else we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a special place in Florence.
