Location, location, location. Right in the heart of Florence yet secluded and quiet. Renovated rooms in an older building, very comfortable, our room overlooked the busy street but had double glazing. Breakfast was provided by Antonio who was a delight, there was plenty to eat, pastries, yoghurt, muesli, juice, ham, salami, eggs, cheese and omelettes, tea and coffee. Small lounge area with tables to eat at and we were very well looked after by Antonio. Recommended. Can walk from the station, probably quicker than a cab because of the crowds.

Some people would find the stairs challenging with big ports, there is no lift. It is worth the walk up, there must be 50-60 steps. It was quite expensive but you are at the Uffizi in about a minute and you can pop back "home" for a break easily. Florence was incredibly busy, you have to plan ahead and buy tickets to the things you want to see well in advance.

The room was exceptionally comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was great with a nice spread. The location was great and reachable to many great attractions. The staff, Daniel, Marco and the lady (I didn't ask for her name) were very nice and helpful! Overall, it is very house-warming and felt home more than a hotel or apartment. If not for no lift, I would rate full marks for this!

Arrived early due to train strike and unable to contact the staff. Waited for a while to drop our luggage. And there is no lift! Had to carry the heavy luggage up the flight of stairs! And more stairs to conquer after walking menacingly in Florence. Somehow the aircon is not working and cannot improve the airflow, but the period was raining and cold enough.

We had such a perfect stay here, I can’t recommend it enough. The location is perfect and the actual b&b itself is spotless throughout, beautifully decorated and everything to a high standard. The room was very big and had everything we needed. The staff were all so lovely, always smiling and available for any questions we had. Breakfast was also lovely.. Plenty on offer such as yoghurt, fruit, pastries, meats, cheeses and bread rolls, couldn’t fault it. Thanks for a beautiful stay, we’ll definitely be back again if we are ever in Florence!

Nothing negative to say.

Lovely room and excellent position. I stayed in the "Astri" room, which was spacious and elegant, had a welcome treat and a nice bathroom with complimentary shampoo etc. There's a safe and a mini-fridge, as well as a coffee machine in the room. Relaxing lighting inside the room and great mattress. The b&b is located perfectly at 1 minute from Piazza della Signoria and Uffizi, 4-5 minutes from Santa Maria del Fiore and basically at a walking distance from everything in the city centre. Plenty of high street shops, restaurants, focaccerie, and local spots in the surrounding area. The staff was friendly and helpful and I felt safe as a solo traveler. Overall, I was satisfied with the service and would come back again.

Very minor concerns: If you are a *very* light sleeper, bring some earplugs, as noise from nearby rooms can travel through the walls. I had minor dietary restrictions/intolerance which I communicated in advance and the b&b kindly accommodated them, but it would have been nice to have a bit more variety at breakfast.

Hotel was great! We met with Antonio upon arriving and he was so helpful and nice. We arrived before the room was ready but he let us know that we could leave and that he would take care of putting our bags in the room. When we came back, our room was ready and our bags were waiting for us. The room itself was lovely with a great set up, nice bathroom and just an overall great vibe. Breakfast was waiting for us in the morning and Antonio was great in helping us get to the airport for our next trip.

This hotel was so great! Our room was spacious and the bathroom was terrific! Each and every one of the staff we met was helpful and kind. I couldn't have asked for anything else.....other than an elevator to help get our luggage up the stairs! haha! (The staff and a taxi driver were helpful in this area.) I would not hesitate to book this hotel again!

The stairs were not a good combo with our big and heavy luggage - BUT - staff was super helpful.

Brilliant location, just a few minutes to Duomo in one direction and Uffizi in the other. Very well looked after at breakfast. Room was a good size with a large bed. If at the front of the hotel, it can get noisy though the double-glazing cuts much of it out.

Not a problem for us, but there are a lot of steps up to the hotel itself and there’s no lift. Also, not hotel-related, but Florence was incredibly busy, some of the biggest tourist crowds I’ve seen.

Excellent location in the centre. Once we had got our bearings it was so easy to get everywhere. Large comfortable bed. Great lighting . Lots of sockets. Attention to detail and bright contemporary decor and furnishings. Easy to put my makeup on and dry my hair as the mirrors and plug sockets are conveniently placed. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner and his two employees. We had a lovely contintental breakfast in the morning. On the last day our flight wasn’t until the late afternoon but we were able to leave our suitcases there.

Only that it couid be difficult for some people to carry their cases up the several flights of stairs to the rooms. However, if you arrive during reception hours there will be someone there to help you. It wasn’t a problem for us .

The location on Via dei Calzaiuoli (the main thoroughfare between the Duomo and the Arno) was wonderful! Very easy to pop back in the room between sightseeing walks. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. The staff were friendly, accessible and helpful. My room ("The Madama") was charming, spotlessly clean and spacious with nice amenities, including A/C and a mini-fridge which were very much appreciated on hot days. Cafe Perseo, a few doors down (on the corner of the Piazza) was convenient for salads/sandwiches, baked goods and gelato. I felt safe as a solo traveler and would certainly stay here again.

Be aware that you must walk up several flights of stairs to reach your room. There is no lift, but this is to be expected in an historic building. Don't let this deter you----the room is worth it.

Excellent location, couldn't get better close to galleries, river and ponto vecchio, very helpful staff with good recommendations of where to eat and visit, nice room very clean, plenty soft towels, good shower and nice breakfast

Bed tiny bit hard and some noise from above but minor overall great stay and would absolutely recommend. Little bit tricky to find at first, read directions given by the hotel when booking and be aware of steps to access without lift .
