The location was great, right next to Piazza della Signoria, and all the other attractions were super close by. Really close to shops and restaurants, a great starting point to explore the city. The room was great, very spacious, and above everything really clean. The lady in charge of cleaning was amazing, really friendly and careful with every detail. A fresh set of towels every day and always a smile. The staff was great, helpful kind, and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend you stay here.

Everything was great

Staff was amazing. We had to change our travel plans and needed one more night in Florence. Unfortunately the residenza was full, but the lady helped us to rearrange all and we could leave our luggage all day and enjoy our additional day to the fullest. I traveled with my mom and she is 76 years old and not cannot walk to much. The location of the residenza was simply perfect to enjoy the duomo, the ufzie, palazzo vecchio, galileo museum and and and. It was super silent and beds really good. We had an amazing stay. Again, special thanks to the very attentive and friendly staff that made us feel like home.

For those who need it: there is no elevator.

For a short stay, this little hotel was great for a family of 4. Our teenage daughters each had their own bed which I found hard to find in a boutique hotel in Florence. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel room for the 4 of us was beautifully designed - an eclectic mix of exposed stone on walls, high ceiling, antique furnishings and chandelier as well as white linens on the beds. We brought our continental breakfast that was served in the morning back into the room just so we could experience eating at the pretty, large dining table that was set with pretty china and place settings! Customer service was fantastic the whole stay. They welcomed us so warmly. Although a small space, they stored our many pieces of luggage after check out time. The young man on our last day was very accommodating, arranging for a taxi to meet us right at the hotel door on the street.

The only thing we didn't like was the walk up and down the 2 + flights of steps with luggage. Maybe the hotel can offer valet assistance with this.

The location is excellent, right in the centre and within easy walking distance of the train station, main cultural museums, things to see and many restaurants. Our room was on the 1st floor, modern ensuite, comfortable bed and a good size with excellent double glazing and blackout shutters so you were not disturbed by the street below or the lighting. A basic continental breakfast is included. We were able to arrange an early check-in but this is not guaranteed.

These are things to note rather than dislikes. As it is an old building there is no lift and 2 steep flights of stairs, so better to bring several lighter cases than a large heavy one. There is no prominent Residenza Delle Arti external signage on the front door so you need the additional information provided in a message to find it the first time. The breakfast choices were limited with no options for additional or hot dishes at additional cost. The reception desk opening times are limited with check-in 14:30 - 19:00 and Check-out from 08:00 - 10:00. The 7€ per person per night City tax has to be paid in cash.

Amazing location just off piazza signora. Friendly helpful staff. Secure. Ample room with queen bed and excellent bathroom. Surprisingly good breakfast and Coffee in the morning. Kettle and mini fridge in the room for tea. Very clean. New towels and daily service. Minimal street noise. Good check in. Good air-conditioning. Felt secure.

Up 26 steps. No elevator. Noise from adjacent rooms at times with late arrivals. No view and window onto a dingy lightwell between buildings. Overall location outweighed any negatives.

Maria took great care of us, keeping the room spotless and making breakfast. We had the family room with a queen bed and two twins so plenty of room for 3 people. It was a bit of a cave because the windows opened to an alley—they were only there for ventilation (in the shower). The room in the front of the house has windows that open onto the street. Given that the building is on the incredibly busy street, you walk in the door into a completely quiet space. The building is old and has beautiful exposed stone and wooden beams. The vibe is Restoration Hardware decorated with antiques. It is literally 4 minutes from the Uffizi, so a perfect location to pop back in to sit down for a couple of minutes between museums and tours. For me it was a bit of a splurge but I couldn’t be happier and would definitely recommend!!

it might not be appropriate for toddlers and kids that aren’t well behaved. And the stairs are rough, you definitely need to be able to hike your luggage up a couple of flights of stairs.

Really good size room, clean and really nicely furnished. The shower was excellent and the bed was extremely comfortable. A varied breakfast was served every day, and the location was truly excellent- around the corner from the Ufizi and the Palazzo Vecchio. Literally could not be any closer to the main sights.

Only two- I think - minor points. My room was interior facing, so no street view. It could be a little gloomy but the room itself was lovely so not really a minus point that would put me off staying there again The wi fi was a little patchy when you were in the room.

Clean, very convenient location if you want to be central, big room, friendly staff!

It’s not that we didn’t like anything - but could use better amenities in bathroom and include hair conditioner. Could update the TV. Wifi wasn’t great in the room. Also a few stairs up before you get to reception/no elevator but friendly staff helped us to get suitcases up the stairs.

The location was excellent! The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The mattress in could have been more comfortable and it was kind of strange not having a window to look out of. It had a beautiful large window but it was towards the courtyard and I completely understand why it wasn't clear glass. Regardless, I would recommend a stay with family as the room was very large accommodating 5 people, and you can't beat the location.

The location is excellent. Very centrally located, yet quiet. The rooms are beautiful with extra little details that add to your stay like slippers, cookies, and tea cups and tea in your room.

Nothing. The entrance is a bit difficult to locate. I would recommend the owners sending a photo of the green front door to guests checking in.
