The location was in a "pedestrian zone", so lots of energy and shops. Easy to walk to just about anywhere in the "old city" area. The atmosphere of the suite was very romantic and nicely furnished. It is clear they took care in decorating it!

We had a little kitchen-like area with cabinets and a refrigerator. However, there were only miscellaneous cups and a dish or two in the cabinets and no dishtowel or paper towels. We were shown where to get glassware etc in the communal area. But it felt out of character for the rest of the suite offering/price. Getting a cab on our departure day was impossible, although they did try for us! It was a long walk with bags to the train station. Bathroom was just a little too small for us "big Americans". But not small as far as European standards in a period lodging.

Marcia was amazingly helpful. Accommodation was very quirky but comfortable in amazing old building. Common areas accessed via the bathroom. Lovely bed, super clean and fantastic location and so close to most things. Was generally v happy with my experience. Minor adjustments would make whole experience excellent.

There was a coffee machine but only tiny paper cups and coffee ran out early in my stay, so small things like checking when coffee was finished and providing mugs would have been helpful. Lock on front door needs fixing as v difficult to open until you get the knack.

Despite being in an amazing location and very close to the center of everything in the old town, it was very peaceful, as the windows were not facing the streets. Good beds. Felt very welcoming.

The air conditioner cannot handle much, quite weak for this volume of air, high ceilings, and the hot temperature outside. It was barely enough for the sweat not to drip into your buttcrack. I assume that the creaking door was left to make the sound for the authentic purpose because the whole building will know if you are going to the bathroom, especially at night. The bathroom is nice but someone ripped the closing door out so we had to shower, tucked into a corner in order not to flood the floor.

The owner Ducce was lovely and very accommodating. Nothing was too much and made sure we were happy before leaving us to enjoy Florence. Marzia his assistant was very lovely and bubbly and again made sure we were happy with our stay. Location was fantastic, loved the vibe on the street and would definitely stay there again.

Bathroom a little small.

It was very comfortable, the owner was very helpful, welcoming and kind. The shower was nice. It was great to have a large space, kitchenette and laundry. We felt very safe as well.

Although there was a common area, we didn’t really use it because that wasn’t air conditioned. The coffee maker didn’t work.

Excellent location, lovely place, good internet connection, helpful staff. However it was cold inside, plumbing was old, we had a terrible blockage at the toilet.

Take a little extra care. If three people are coming, leave 3 glasses or 3 sets of towels and shampoo sets for example.

Everything…the place was so romantic and cool …very classy and beautiful. Marzia, the hostess, was great with non-touristy recommendations and also helped out with any minor issues we had. Highly recommended.

Everything was great!

I felt like at home, i like the italien athmosphere and there it was. The appartment is really in the center. The landlords were so friendly, we could leave our suitcase as long as we needed before we left Florenc..

Loved the interior and vibe of the place. The bed was comfortable, and that's all that was required for a one night stay.

Could do a little better for the in-room facilities. Though the common area has everything that the room lacks.
