Great location; very friendly and helpful staff. We loved the breakfast (a buffet with healthy options - not only a croissant) . Room was very clean and tidy. Very nice and large bathroom. The bes was soft with comfortable pillows. The B&B is at the third floor in a large building, and there is elevator until second floor. They help you with anyhting :) Definitely a great place to stay!

Breakfast on the sunny terrace each morning was a wonderful way to start the day. Our room was very clean and quiet. There were a few hiccups during our trip to Florence and the staff was always kind and helpful. For instance, we had difficulty booking a taxi ( there was a major event that weekend and no one was picking up the phone ). They scheduled a cab for us and made sure we got a ride in time.

The crowd in the alleyway can get a little loud late at night when the bars close. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary for a central city district, but if you are particularly noise sensitive like me you may want to bring ear plugs. Also a small thing, but we had reserved a king bed for our stay which turned out to just be two beds pushed together.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The free water and good breakfast options were great. I really love their cappuccino! They provide free WiFi and recommendations for where to eat and what to visit. I would have disliked a little our stay if not for the lovely people that work here. If you want to stay in the hip area of Florence, definitely choose this location.

They didn’t want to turn on the AC for us even though it was 80+ degrees Fahrenheit when we arrived (we stayed late April). We couldn’t open the windows because it didn’t have screens (mosquitos love me) and it would automatically turn off the fan. Frustrating to pay so much for the stay but not be able to turn on the air conditioner. It would be understandable if it’s during late fall or winter but nope it was the dead of spring and among the 4 different apartments and hotels we stayed at, it was only them who did this! It was also very dark downstairs at night time when you go up to the unit. For some reason, they don’t keep the hallway and stairs lights on. A bit absurd to be honest and wouldn’t be great if there’s an emergency and you need to run out!

Great location Great host

Our host was gracious, helpful, and charming. The location is ideal to enjoy Florence and walk the city. The room is generous in size compared to other European B&Bs, and the bathroom was well appointed. The breakfast was a great selection and spread and our host made plentiful delicious coffee. They were super helpful in calling us cabs when needed, and giving us pointers for how to enjoy the city. Wonderful experience. The location is wonderfully close to sightseeing, parks, food, and the perfumeries.

Very few issues at all. The first floors of the building are old and a little smelly but none of that transferred to the lodging experience. Nothing bad that would impact your stay.

From the moment we checked in we got a personalized service, our host sat down with us, gave us a map of the city and helped us get the most of our time there, really made us feel welcome! The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was very nice also! Breakfast was excellent, with a cute little terrace to enjoy it on and fresh cappuccinos to go with it. Basically we felt as if we were staying at a friends house!!! Will be staying again next time we go to Florence, and recommending this place to anyone we know that is going also! Thank you very much for everything !

Nothing really, do be advised there is a single flight of stairs to climb after an elevator to access the property, not a problem for us as staff helped us with our bags and we have no mobility issues

I had a lovely stay at the bed and breakfast hotel. The owners were exceptionally friendly and offered to help with any requests/problems. The atmosphere and design of the place was very cozy, I especially enjoyed the beautiful terrace. Free water, tea, cutlery was available at all times! Overall, I felt very safe in both the hotel and the neighborhood (as a solo traveler), which was my biggest priority.

Be aware that there are many mosquitos in this area. The owners provided an electric mosquito repellent though, which was very nice.

Love this location, just a few steps from everything you could want! Always felt very safe. Owners went above and beyond from everything like making dinner reservations to arranging our taxi when we left, packing up something to eat to go…making us special coffees, helping us learn the area, places to go etc. the room was very comfortable, cool with a/c that actually works! Beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. The room was VERY quiet, they had upgraded their windows as the nightlife one street over has now become a busy area late at night…they offer an incredible spread of food in the morning, everything from yogurts to baked goods, fruits, meats, cheeses, a little something for everyone. The terrace where we had our coffee was perfect early in the morning. The bathroom was very nice but small.

The only comment I would have is that it is too bad the bathroom wasn’t a little larger to allow 2 people to be in there getting ready at the same time…that would be impossible, perhaps a few more hangers or another wardrobe would be useful as well.

It’s a wonderful place with the nicest staff. There was a lovely roof garden where you could eat breakfast or have a glass of wine. Extensive breakfast spread of cornetti, sliced cheeses and meats, yogurt, cakes, fruit, coffee. Lorenzo offered to make cappuccino or espresso (but we never had enough time). Pretty and quiet room with high beamed ceilings and a large window. Very comfortable bed! Excellent location around the corner from Santa Croce, a 5 minute walk to the Arno. An easily walkable location to all the highlights of Florence. There is an elevator, so only one flight of steps to climb. We can’t wait to return!
