I have had an absolutely fantastic time in Peruzzi Urban Residences, a lifetime experience I would say. It was like living the Florentian fairy tale. Luxurious look and feel, comfort and very high level service, attention to the detail. Breakfast was so good and variable, that I did not get tired in 5 days. Local quality meat and cheese, freshly squeezed orange juice, Nespresso coffee, natural honey, fruits, integral bread. Very confortable bed, Netflix for falling asleep, local toiletries, privacy and peace. The location is unbeatable, close to the city highlights, but nicely hidden from noise and crowds. Maids very profesional and friendly. However, the true diamond on the experience crown was a concierge Roberta - without her the place would not be the same. Cult, classy, atentive and warm person, great advice on where to eat and what to see, but especially great wine bar experience upon arrival. The house wines are spectacular and is a superb addition to the overall experience. I really enjoyed staying at Peruzzi Urban Residences, the concept, the services, all of it - was the best stay of my life!

Very convenient location! Roberta is a wonderful hostess, shared places not to miss, hosted a great wine hour and kept in constant communication. The breakfast spread was everything one could want. The rooms are spacious. We stayed in the Vittoria Suite, just off the dining & kitchen area. I was concerned it might be loud in the morning but it was never an issue. The room was quite large, it had twin beds converted to a larger one and the bathroom even more grand with a double sink and a shower/ toilette area separated by a door. Our friends had the Edourdo Suite in the hall off the reception. It was a tad larger than ours with a king sized bed. The bathroom was not quite as large. The Sophia is the best, with two windows as it is on the corner. The biggest issue was the air conditioning. While most of Italy is enduring a major heatwave, it was 95-100° F while we were there and the AC couldn’t keep up. Our room was about 78-80° with the AC on. We requested and received a fan, but it pushed so little air it didn’t make a huge difference. We managed to sleep, just not under the duvet. With this weather and the ancient building we accepted this and everything else made up for it! Will definitely return.

Better AC would be extremely helpful.

The property was perfectly located and Florence is very walkable. We were able to explore around the town very easily. The room was very clean with lovely decor suited to the historic background of the building. We had a perfect stay in Florence. Roberta, the concierge, really made our stay. She welcomed us warmly and helped us with many recommendations and explored the city map with us on arrival. She also runs a wine tasting every night in the common lounge and shares the history of the Peruzzi tower. She is very knowledgeable and lovely to talk to. When we needed a cab to take us to the station she was more than happy to reserve for us. We visited many of the locations and restaurants she recommended and were not disappointed. Peruzzi residences has been the best stay of our trip so far and we would more than happily stay again.

Nothing!!

atmospheric, beautifully decorated, central location. The cleanliness of suite and public areas and breakfast buffet were superb, thank you Silvia. From check-in to check-out, Roberta was fabulous, helping with booking restaurants for dinner and taxis. Roberta also gave us lots of information regarding the residence, the owners family and some recent ,1940s , history which I would like to know more about if possible.

There was absolutely nothing that I didn’t like.

What a great Hotel! Evyerything was perfect. A real suite in an old building of Florence. In the centre of the city, near to everything (Duomo, Uffizi, Santa Croce square, the river, etc.), Many places to eat and drink. Florence is amazing but also the room was. Very big, spacious with 2 different places for sleeping and relaxing. The bathroom was beautiful, with different and big enough rooms for bathroom and toilet. With two lavomanos and very clean, plenty of amenities for shower. But the "taste" of the room is also important, with nice roustic furiniture and a very big and relaxing bed. Very good natural light from 3 big windows (but with heavy curtains as well if you do not want the morning light). The reception procedure was very friendly. Easy to get in with the provided code and a very old but nice lift will lead you to your floor. The breakfast was excellent, not only in quality/quantity but in the huge bright kitchen area. This (and also the main sitting place) is always open and you can find here available water (still and sparkling), fruits, cakes and croissants. Aslo every afternoon there is wine information about Toscany where you can also taste for free some of the nice local red or white wines. I enjoyed every minute of my stay - meaning that even that you are in the magnificent Florence, you can also enjoy this comfortable Hotel, when you return from shopping, museums, cafes and eveything that is around you...

Set in an amazing old grand building with high ceilings and doors. The residences are just amazing loved the decor so beautifully done. Also the apartment was very spacious just for two of us and the bathroom was luxurious with double shower and sinks and a free standing bath. The property is in a great central area of Florence but on a quiet side street/square so very quiet on a night. The receptionist/ concierge lady was very friendly and helpful, she gave us complimentary red wine from the owners vineyard in Tuscany which was a lovely personal touch.

The shower water lacked power

Wonderful location and front desk + kitchen staff were amazing! Apartment is nicely furnished and well-renovated (impressive for how old the building’s history is!). This place certainly has character while also having the comfort of clean modern living — a very awesome space to stay in for our time exploring Florence. Breakfasts were delicious. Common spaces were open 24/7, so we often swung by to pick up complimentary snacks (delicious fruit, pastries left over from breakfast) throughout the day. Staff also let us sample some of the Peruzzi family’s wines — delicious!

Bathroom was a little small & some shower tiles were chipped. Nothing out of the ordinary for a place with so much amazing history!

We will absolutely stay here again when we return to Florence. Roberta was amazing – she provided a ton of local recommendations that far exceeded our food expectations. She also gave us a wine tasting to explain the history of the owners, the building, and the Peruzzi family. The room itself was MUCH larger than we're used to staying in across Europe. The bathroom was huge, and we had a ton of space to move around. We were right next to the kitchen where they served a really tasty continental+ breakfast (no cooked food, but lots of pastry, meet, cheese, cereal, granola, etc.

N/A – everything was great.

The staff is exceptional! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! We absolutely felt like home and Roberta is amazing and gave us so much information about the city’s history, wines, restaurants, everything…She is a real gem! Also, as many said before, the photos don’t do it enough justice, the property is extremely beautiful, historic and elegant. Breakfast is fresh with traditional Tuscan food (salami, prosciutto, cheese, olive oil etc.), cakes, fruits etc., rooms are clean and everything is within walking distance (the train station having the highest distance with about 20mins of walking). You can also do wine tastings at the property since it belongs to a family owning a Tuscan wine estate (Malenchini) or you can book a trip to the estate.

Everything was exceptional. The only minor thing: maybe put up a mosquito net in the rooms since we even had them inside the room in January, as soon as we opened the window.

We really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful property with interesting history. Couldn’t fault the staff, so friendly, accommodating and helpful! The room was very spacious and clean. The afternoon wine was lovely and the staff had a lot of knowledge about wine, Florence and the property which was interesting to learn. Breakfast was delicious and they were so accommodating for a celiac/gluten free allergy.

The shower was a little old despite it working well. It would be good to have separate shampoo and conditioner rather than bars - appreciate this is personal preference.
