The Breakfast was nice.There was scrambled egg, crispy bacon,Cereals,nuts and fresh cantaloupe melon ,kiwi and orange slices. Dried fruit and for my Vegan Daughter, Soya Milk,Cherry Tomatoes, Aubergene and Artichoke in oil. Bread to make toast and jams/marmalade. The Location was perfect.It was near to the Mercato Centrale (indoor market),The Duomo. The Train Station was only about 6 or 7 minutes away. The room had a view of the Medici Chapel and bell tower.Useful Minibar/Refrigerator.The Shower and toiletries were great! But best of all were the Staff at Reception! My Daughter and I had to get up early for a tour and would miss breakfast at 7am but they kindly supplied a little bag each consisting of bread,cheese spread, Nutella, Jam ,yogurt,biscuit and juice and for my Vegan Daughter Alpro yogurt, Rice drink, Rice crackers ,jam, fruit. We had a pair of slippers each.

There was no milk for your tea/coffee in the bedroom. You could only get 4 english speaking programmes on the Television. All of them were News Channels. We only had three clothes hanger's and no trouser hanger's.

Rhe hotel pride itself in customer service. Every staff member was so friendly and helpful. They are always smiling and are willing to answer any questions you have. The decor is beautiful. so modern and urban. The rooms were spacious and well kept. The breakfast area and reception area is very welcoming. There is great variety of breakfast items and excellent quality of food. It is on a more quiet street but close to everything. itc was my daughter's birthday and our anniversary and they made it extra special. I will DEFINITELY recommend the hotel to friends and family.

The fan is a bit strong in the rooms and the water is a bit weak. The pillows could be more thick.

Breakfast was superb! They even served porridge for us asians. Location was around 10-15min walk from Florence SMV main station. It is right in the old town so you are very near to everything, including supermarkets, restaurants, bars, etc. The Florence central market was just next to it! We particularly liked the free drinks session from 6pm-8pm. It is a very nice way to engage the guests. And we know more of Florence and Italy through the bartender. Overall, the staff were super polite, in fact the best in Europe!

Fantastic location, very central and easy to walk to every where. The family room was large, with comfy beds and a kitchenette area. Breakfast was simple but tasty with ample food.

limited common areas to relax in at the end of the day with a small bar area.

The Globus Urban Hotel is in a perfect location. Only a few minutes walk to all the landmarks and Santa Maria Novella station. The concierge are very friendly and nothing was to difficult for them. Excellent breakfast included was great value! The hotel is also energy efficient. Sensors on the windows will disconnect the air conditioning if left open.

There is very little not to like. However, if I had to make any suggestions, it would be to brighten the colour of the rooms. In our room, there was very little natural light, and at times on a gloomy day for example, the dark walls seemed to close in. That said, you rarely spend time in your room in a city such as Florence!

All the staff were fantastic and friendly. Excellent location, short walk from train station and loads of places to eat and things to on the doorstep. Breakfast tasted very fresh, lots of choice of juices, breads, pastries, etc. We were warned the room would be small but had no issues with this while we were there.

Air conditioning centrally switched off (March). The room was not well ventilated so it got very hot. We asked reception for a fan which was given to us which made it a lot more comfortable but even with the fan we still woke up to the windows misted up (windows need to be closed to block noise from street which they do very well).

The Globus Urban Hotel in Florence was perfect. The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. The hotel location is in city central and walking distance to almost everything. It was clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was good and it was reasonably priced. The details matter to this company; on check out day, I found a small bag hanging on my room's door handle. In it I found a hand written thank you card from the hotel staff and 2 Biscotti. I will definitely stay here again.

Location was a short walking distance from the train station. It was a central location with easy access to the major sites. Although the room was central, it was quite and the bed was comfortable. The front desk clerk on my arrival was exceptional (Gabriella?). Very kind and extremely helpful. Although the room was small, it was great for a solo traveler. It is a really cute hotel.

The shower is small so a bit tight for a bigger person.

The location was excellent. Great access to the main areas of Florence and walkable from the train station. The small streets around the hotel had excellent restaurants. The room was clean and good sized as was the bathroom.

The room internet was horrible! The manager was helpful and responsive to the situation and he did send a manager from their sister hotel to our room to try and get internet, but it was always spotty at best.

Actually quiet room. The windows mute the street noise excellently. Room was small, as in description but it had everything necessary even with nice little extras. I really enjoyed it. Staff was fantastic, very friendly, helpful. Location was perfect and safe even at night.

Sometimes internet connection was slow or had interruptions but it wasn't anything major.
