The rooms are great, clean, and quiet. The location is amazing for many reasons including laundry next door, walking distance to everything, and near the train station (easy to carry bags). The breakfast is great, yummy, and in a welcoming area. But topping all of that is the host Clarissa - she is awesome!! Extremely responsive at any time of the day or night. We got stuck in Pisa due to a delayed train before Christmas and we would have been late to pick up our laundry (which would have then been closed for a few days). Clarissa called them, paid them, and arranged for our clothes to be delivered to our room! We will be back!

Great breakfast and super communication for staff

I Sleep B&B is absolutely fantastic! First, owner and operator, Clarissa is an exceptional hostess. The pride she has in her establishment and caring for her guests is evidenced by all her attention to detail. Clarissa is always ready to help with reservations, directions, and recommendations which she copiously writes down for you to have in hand when you go out for your day in Florence. She made several reservations for us before our arrival through messaging with us. Her willingness to help you using text messaging was amazing and went above and beyond any innkeeper we have encountered. The food choices for breakfast were plentiful and delicious! The entire property is spotless. There is a wonderful terrace to have breakfast and start your day well. Clarissa is kind, gracious, efficient, and personable. I Sleep B&B has a few other perks. It is located just a 5-7 minute walk from the main train station. Right next door is a laundromat and affordable laundry service. Two good restaurants are just 5 minutes away, Antica Trattoria Il Giuardino on Via della Scala and Trattoria dall ‘Oste. Clarissa maintains an English TV station (39). It’s a marvelous place!

This property has many positives: 5 mins walk from the rail station, yet the area is not dodgy. You're also 7-8 mins walk to the river which means a quick trek to a nicer part of town on the other side of the Arno river for your evening meal. Extremely clean, recently done up (or very well kept), great shower, good breakfast, and the host is very helpful. You have a lift, so you don't have to worry about carrying up your luggage.

Our bedroom was n.5 and it was really small. We think other rooms are bigger. The other downside for us was that noise from the next door room was significant (every time the bathroom flushed or when they were having a shower or walking around). Obviously the plus are more than the downsides anyway.

The location is good and the room is clean with a lovely balcony. Close to everything especially the train station. If you are carrying heavy luggage, there’s a lift available although the ground floor is elevated from the street level for very limited stairs which is not an issue. The breakfast is not buffet style as hotels usually do, but you’ll get quite some choices at the time of checking in.

The high chairs in Cafe area may not be friendly to short people.

Near train station and walking distance to Duomo. Beautiful design. Comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast. Best thing was the large balcony that had sun almost all day (room 2), so great to take a break here as the city is packed.

The shower is very small and therefore uncomfortable This could be improved by repositioning the shower head to the other wall where the soap box is. I would recommend a sign above the airconditioning box saying the sun icon means switching it on (not the ice icon)… I was too dumb to figure this out ;-)

Right by the railway station, the position is excellent. The rooms are bright fresh and have all the services you require. Clarissa and her staff were great from the start, helpful, friendly and efficient. Breakfasts were excellent, fresh and plentiful. Nearly everything you want to see in the city is within a 15 to 20 minute walk Max. We highly recommend. I sleep B&B to anyone visiting Florence.

Location is very close to the train station, key sightseeing points and very good restaurants.Still it is quiet and safe. Clarissa is an amazing host, she made us feel at home. The beds are very comfortable and bathroom is spacious, windows can be opened and aircon is working well. Breakfast offers many choices and if you are lucky you can enjoy it on the balcony. Will come back when I am in Florence and definitely recommend it.

The location. The room was very comfortable, modern and clean. Loved the terrace. Good powerful shower. Booking in etc was very efficient and organised. Breakfast was excellent. Clarissa was delightful.

The entrance was off putting but when we got to the 4th floor it transformed. Obviously proud of the bedspread but may need a more practical one as emphasis on cost if it got marked etc. To avoid any issue we just folded it away.

We spent 3 days in Florence. We came on vacation as a family of 3 people. We are very glad that we chose this hotel. Great location. Cozy room with a piste and mountain views. Cleaning was done every day, very clean. Breakfast was ordered for every day and for a certain time. I highly recommend this hotel to travelers.
