Hotel Garibaldi Blu - WTB Hotels

Prime location near SMN train station, yet still very quiet inside day & night. The lobby is beautifully decorated, tranquil. Highlight was breakfast- I've traveled a lot and for the nightly rate this was one of the best hotel breakfasts with a great selection of fruits, pastries, scrambled eggs, etc. (I stayed 4 nights & it was consistently good). Check in/ out was easy and customer service experience was great.

Everything was perfect. The batman sculptures were weird, odd design choice and incongruous with the elegance of common areas.

The hotel is right next to the Santa Maria Novella and close to almost all attractions in Florence. The room size is great and very clean. The breakfast is excellent and staff at the breakfast area are very nice. AC and Wi-Fi were great and the superhero figures are a nice touch.

Staff at the front (reception) were not the best. The Wi-Fi information provided with the room cards was not correct and when I asked the staff for the password, their reaction was a bit condescending. The shower is a bit small despite the bathroom is big overall. Also the lights in the room were a bit odd. A switch turns on and off every lights, I wish they could be controlled separately. However there was a light that couldn’t be turned off for some reason and it was a bit bothersome at night.

A beautiful place to stay - absolutely stunning inside and a beautiful spacious room that is very clean and secure. The staff, whether it be those on reception or those preparing the breakfast or the bartender were all very kind and friendly. Any concerns you have are addressed readily and the hotel faces the Piazza which is absolutely beautiful.

This is not within the control of staff, but the room we had facing the piazza meant that we were exposed to music and loud noises due to people in the street. It is simple to request a change of room.

The location was great. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to see, while also having restaurant options right in the area. The room was very comfortable and the perfect size. But it's the extras that really did it. Fruit and prosecco in our room upon arrival. Great breakfast buffet each morning with lots of options, including mimosas! We also could not find tickets to go to the Accademia museum during our stay and the concierge was able to get us tickets when we asked. We could not have been more happy with our stay here.

Exceptional quality rooms decor. Brilliant experience of staying in a very clean and spacious room. Staff were extremely friendly and supportive. Location is next to none. Train station, Tram station, resturants, visiting places very nearby. Prices versus quality of service - very reasonable.

I have no further suggestions. Hotel is already providing exceptional quality service.

The location was perfect, The staff were very nice ,friendly and helpful . The breakfast was excellent as was the staff who served us. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard . The bed was comfortable, with a large suite bathroom was bright with a good shower. We received complimentary water every day of our stay. The hotel lounge was beautiful.

The bedroom we were allocated was too dark .The decor was also very dark and dismal, so lacked warmth and character. The USB ports didn’t work , but we had adaptors with us for the main sockets so wasn’t really an issue..

Perfect place to stay when on a short visit to Florence, with close proximity to the tram, local attractions, shops and restaurants. We definitely liked our room which looked like newly renovated, it was spotless and very detailed especially the bathroom. Breakfast was good too with a spread of hot and cold items and very helpful staff (although the same every day). The front desk/concierge were very helpful, they booked us to great restaurants every evening which served delicious and authentic Florentine food.

The bathroom amenity was missing a conditioner, so don't forget to bring one. The safe was also too small and could not safe keep small laptops nor an Ipad. No English channel but not a big issue as we're always outdoors.

Very unique hotel with style and decor. The staff were absolutely superb, especially Massimo.

Very thin walls. You could hear the various noises from the surrounding rooms. Floor upstairs, banging, bathrooms from rooms next door and talking. Not soundproof enough. Difficult to get to sleep with the noise despite very comfortable beds. Furthermore, the heating system was nearly impossible to work. The room was far too warm throughout our stay.

The location was brilliant 5 minutes from the train station and the building itself is beautiful. Breakfast is excellent with a good selection of cured meats, cheeses, bacon and eggs. Can even have a mimosa if you’re in relaxation mode!! Very impressed - would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were a little dark, could use a brighter light in the centre of the room.

It's in a great central location opposite the Santa Maria Novella church and just a few minutes walk to the station or the Duomo. There was a nice & varied selection for breakfast - scrambled eggs were great. The room was well lit, comfortable, very clean and quiet. Staff were polite and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

I would have liked slightly more space in the room, but it was fine for our short stay.
