The rooms were large, clean and had a pleasant hygge style. Modern, minimalist and appealing. Large rooms offer fresh air and light. It had the best shower - good pressure and really hot water. Walking distance to city centre and numerous amazing sites. It makes wondering around Florence that much more enjoyable.

The use of the App for entry into the building, the hotel lobby and then the rooms was difficult with a party of six people. Putting the digital key access onto other phones was a bit tedious and glitchy. A key card for the rooms at least would have been a nice backup. The check in was not very clear, although the staff person tried her best to communicate with us. As we arrived too early to check in, we were told we could leave our luggage, however it was stored in a communal kitchen area with no lock on the door and no one around to watch them.

Everything worked well the staff were very friendly and helpful... they have a different kind of access key on your phone) that took a bit of time setting up but worked well once set up ... thanks and the food & coffee directly underneath was beautiful.

Tiny elevator ... but at least they had one.

The location was very close to the town center; very walkable. The distance to the train station was not too far.. definitely walkable with luggages (I had two roller luggage). Close to cute bakeries, one of the Il'Antico Vinai storefronts, and the Uffizi. The only issue I had during my stay was that there was construction going on along the road of the hotel... however, it didn't bother me.. just would have been nice to know about. That's life though.. the hotel can't help when the city needs to work on the roads. The service was friendly. IT IS A SELF-AUTOMATED CHECK-IN if you do so outside of the staff's hours, so just be sure to contact the hotel if you have any questions. All workers were helpful, the room was super clean and nice, and I would definitely stay here again if I find myself in Florence.

- Fantastic location, in the heart of the city, 3 bus stops away from the SMN Station and only a few minutes walk from tourist destinations. - An elevator is available in the building. - The system to opening the doors is easily understood. - Staffs were friendly and informative. - Spacious and quiet rooms, comfy beds, clean bathrooms.

- Because the neighbors are restaurants and cafes, sometimes there are food smells coming around; it can be a good thing though. - The kitchen in the hotel is non-functional (as far as I know), but it's Florence and there are so many eating out options to begin with.

Excellent location and great price. The hotel is a short walk from the Duomo and near a lot of conveniences like supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, etc. The room was also more spacious than expected. Check-in was simple and the reception, when they were present, were friendly and helpful. There was heavy construction to install a new tram system right outside of the door of the hotel but we heard none of it from our room.

These are minor complaints, but the room was a little older than presented in the photos - for example our towel heating rack didn't work, and I could hear the people in the next room over.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The amenities were top-notch, and the hotel's location was ideal, offering stunning views and easy access to local attractions. For Italy, this hotel was simply wonderful and quite affordable. The location was perfect. There were even complimentary fruit and water in the rooms. The bathroom had all the necessary amenities, which were single-use and refreshed daily. The shower worked wonderfully, and the room was very spacious. There was even an extra bed for two people. The only downside was that the WiFi didn't work very well. Overall, this hotel exceeded all my expectations, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable stay.

The hotel begins on the third floor of the building but there is a lift to take you up. The rooms typical size for European rooms and ae nicely appointed with a nice bathroom. The hotel has evidently been nicely renovated in the recent past and it was very neat and clean. It is conveniently located about a 15 minute walk from the train station and less than that to the Duomo and other popular areas. Maybe a 20 minute walk to the river front.

There really wasn’t anything much not to like. The shower was quite small, but met our needs. It was perfect for our 3 day, 2 night stay.

check in with a smart lock - difficult and stressful to download the app and the lock didn’t want to open; people who book the place should know about the app - that it’s the condition of entering the room!!!

There was a TV where you could see local shows, channels and commercials. I also had my own personal bathroom and shower in there and it was really clean. I thought there wouldn't be a reception but there was someone helping you out on their working hours. The modern idea of a phone app was really nice, I needed to ask for the instructions for my email a few times but once they did arrive everything was smooth. The free wifi was a nice touch. I got free drinkable water and there was an air conditioner that could heat up the room and you'd get to switch it on and choose the heat for your liking yourself! There was a USB port for your charger and the usual Italian charger port. When you go outside a good landmark is the Catholic church you can find. There are some breakfast places right next to the building.

I could hear things around me but at night in general the whole town went quiet so it was no problem. You just hear when people come to the hotel that's all. The elevator was small, but at least my luggage fit inside and I was able to get to the third floor. What I did not know was that when I wanted to go outside there was a button on the wall like a light switch you had to press to open the gate and go out. I had a few mosquitos who had managed to get inside, it can't always be helped but you could prepare some mosquito repellent just in case.
