Tranquil area and easy to access by car. Parking was arranged by the hotel in their inner yard. Staff was helpful and made the stay easy. Breakfast was decent. Location is nice unless you only want to do shopping downtown.

The moisture removal in the room was not the best. The bathroom remained a bit damp after a shower. Also clothes in the room felt a bit damp.

As an overnight stop, it provided everything that we were looking for. The view from the window was charming, the breakfast was generous, the on-site parking convenient, the location was peaceful, exceptionally green and close to where we needed to be. There was also a kettle in the room - not an insignificant item when all you want is a cup of tea/coffee at the end of a long day and just before going to bed

As a one-night stop, there was little to dislike about this charming hotel, except perhaps the price - and the appalling exchange rate! But, as they say, you get what you pay for, and we did!!

The bed was very large and very comfortable for us, the breakfast was well stocked and fresh and lots of choice. The staff were all lovely and accommodating and our room was cleaned every day during our stay. We had the comfort double (more like a super king bed) which had plenty of space in the room with shower over the bath. Sadly we didn't get to use the pool with the weather. But the pool and area of the pool looked clean and well looked after. Generally we enjoyed the stay here, the bus stop to the centre of Florence is minutes away or it is a 30 min walk which is we did some days. The location though is great and quiet and easy to get to.

There were some things in the building that looked tired and old. But I wouldn't put it down as a dislike as the place showed character. I did notice the tap mixers are the wrong way round in our bathroom. So I ended up having a very cold shower as I put the shower to hot, but not knowing at first it was actually cold. So, once changed to the cold, there was hot water. I expect a lot of people would do the same.

The location was great and with parking spots which was very convenient. The building is impressive as it is an old one with a lot of charm. The employees of the hotel were very nice and always ready to help. Also, even if not big, it was nice to have a swimming pool knowing we had 35 degrees during our stay !

You can easily see that the property has been reshaped 20-30 years ago and I would say it is time to invest! Indeed, rooms are not modern in terms of design, missing some equipment or not working or pretty old.

To live today the Firenze lifestyle of yesteryear. Lovely villa which has kept untouched the spirit of old Firenze. Top location. Quality of sleep is outstanding. First class equipment. Spotless clean all around. Breakfast is generous and top quality on the products offered at the buffet. High quality filter coffee is an impeccable and lovely detail. Staff was always available, honest and very helpful. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Everything was absolutely perfect.

The hotel sits in a quiet and green area of Florence. I had 2 rooms booked here and both were very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was really good, lots of options. You can also order food (the foccacia was amazing) and aperols while staying by the pool.

It's about 20mins walk from Ponte Vecchio.. and the rest of the city. It's a nice walk, and we didn't have a problem (we also saw some bus stations near-by). But bear in mind this when booking :)

It was honestly so beautiful inside and out ! I was just gorgeous!!!! I was blown away the pool aria was Beautiful to! Everything!!!!!!

Honestly the only thing that I can think off was that our room was not ready when we go there we had to wait a awhile but that was literally it. staff was sooooo nice and the vibe was just amazing I will definitely be returning xoxox

Reception rooms and bar area were excellent. Staff were all great special mention for breakfast and bar staff but reception very helpful too. Room very comfortable and liked the patio area. We would strongly recommend the Villa Carlotta.

The bathroom was a little in need of attention as shower door does not close properly and there is some mildew. There is a floor tile near the bathroom door that is loose and comes out when stepped on.

Location, and all the staff there were super helpful. Having a private, air conditioned space in the summer was lovely and the rooms are all generous, especially for European hotels!

The rooms are a bit aged which can make it feel a bit less clean than it is. The occasional deep clean on each room would go a long way for improving the space.

Room spacious and clean and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was buffet with such a great selection of rolls, meats, cheeses, fruit, jams, toast, cereals, eggs, croissants, yoghuts, coffee and juice. The pool was such a bonus, comfy sun loungers and perfect temperature water. Easy to get to Florence city walking - 30-40 mins but by e-bike about 10 mins. Nice and quiet area.

The shower leaked down the side of the bath so every day we had to use all the towels to clean up the water. They could do with having more sun loungers available.
