I loved how beautiful the house is and how much effort the hosts put into decorating, leaving items that would be useful for tourists. There are a lot of tourist guides and there is a guidebook in the room that you can scan and take with you with all food recommendations from Lucrezia :) that was really nice. I really liked that you can order breakfast the day before. Setting for breakfast was amazing, in the beatiful garden. The room design is impeccable, I loved my room. I loved the cat as well :) it's amazing that the place is right in the city centre, it's easy to walk everywhere. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, they gave us a lot of useful information and you can really see they love to work on Secret Garden.

Probably because it's an old building, you can hear other people (especially from above you) and just normal steps can be heard loudly. If you are sensitive to noise while sleeping, bring earplugs.

Secret Garden Firenze was amazing! It is a beautiful hidden gem right in the heart of the city. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and we felt like it was a home away from home during our stay in Florence. Breakfast is fresh and made to order and it was prepared for us early each day to accommodate our tour schedule. My four daughters had an apartment with a kitchenette and washing machine which they were graciously allowed to use during our 3-night stay. The garden was a beautiful and peaceful place to rest after a long day. We will definitely stay again during our next visit to Florence.

Lucrezia and Filippo's place is more than perfect: Beautiful rooms, a cool and charming garden, and an amazing community kitchen (with water, tea, coffee, refreshments - and a HUGE wooden table to enjoy a cool lunch - all complimetary). We have never cherished a hotel more than this - in the hot Florentine summer especially! It's a true haven! Don't miss out on staying with the loveliest hosts in Florence!

Located near the Piazza Della Santissima Annunziata, the rooms are on a peaceful garden hidden from the street. Even our room fronting on the street was quiet. Very well maintained, comfortable rooms, with excellent air conditioning made for great stay. An excellent breakfast is provided in the garden in the mornings; in the afternoon and evening one can enjoy a glass of wine in garden as well. Lucrezia answered all questions promptly before arrival. Friendly and helpful in finding reastaurants in the neiborhood, and local information one could not find a nicer and charming hostess.

Everything - our room was bright and comfortable, the bathroom modern, the common space and kitchen open to guests were decorated with plants and an eclectic mix of antiques, artisanal works and quirky items. And the garden ……. it was an absolute pleasure to have our delicious breakfasts (or glasses of wine later in the day) in such beauty and tranquility. The little touches - homemade cookies in a jar on the table, scrumptious homemade banana bread at breakfast, etc. - were great. Lucrezia was a joy to meet and was iso helpful with her advice and assistance. The location in a neighbourhood just 10 minutes or so from the Duomo and the main tourist sights beyond was excellent. We were away from the crowds yet close to everything. We walked easily from the train station in 20 minutes (especially once we realized that we had exited the wrong side of train station and were heading in the wrong direction). During our three night stay, we felt that we were visiting a family home while at the same time, we had privacy and the freedom to come and go according to our own schedule. We highly recommend the Secret Garden for travellers who appreciate an alternative to the regular hotel experience.

Nothing - loved it all.

We had the pleasure of staying with Flippo and Luczeria at their beautiful B&B in Florence. They treated us like family from the time we booked their place over the Christmas break, answering any questions we had before and during the trip. Check in was flawless and the convenience of all the information available by scanning a QR code made it so easy for first time travellers to get all the information about Florence, recommended places to visit, restaurants. The location of the B&B is central - it is only a 10 minute walk to the city centre. The room was comfortable for the family and the bathroom amentities were good as well. The description of their place does not come close to how beautiful it was - it is truly a Secret Garden! And is a must visit for families!

The Secret Garden was well located, 5 minute walk to Accademia, but also away from the crowds. The accommodation was very clean. There was a small kitchen in the apartment. We used the garden to eat breakfast and also to relax with a beer after sightseeing. It was lovely a world away from the packed streets. Lucrezia, Fillippo and Francesco make a real effort to help you maximise your stay in Florence. We thank them for having us

We loved everything about our stay here. From the start we were warmly welcomed and felt so well take care of. We had walked from the station and were exhausted. Immediately we were given water and shown around. it is just lovely. Lucretia exudes kindness and such a generous approach to providing everything you need. The garden is lovely and was a beautiful place to have breakfast everyday. I can’t rave enough. After our hotel lodging in Rome this was a welcome change.

There is nothing to not like!

What a lovely place! Fantastic location, 15 mins casual walk to Duormo, 25 mins max walk to other sights. Beautiful room, crisp sheets and towels, quirky, unique. We had the run with a little balcony area which was sweet. Breakfast was wonderful, you check a list the day before of what you'd like. Fresh croissants, ham, cheese, toast, fruit, yoghurt, egg, coffee, orange juice, granola..... all lovely! The owners seemed young and vibrant, nothing was too much trouble. The mattress was superb. So much better than a soul-less hotel. Loved the place!

Secret Garden is a stunning property in an excellent location. Clean, well stocked, quiet with easy access to parking was perfect. The owner is a lovely and kind host. We enjoyed talking with him and learning more about his property. They were both so gracious waiting for us during our late arrival. We'd happily stay again whenever we get back to Florence.

Everything was perfect.
