If you are looking for a quiet, cosy place, near the centre of Firenze, look no further! Nicola and Joyce will take care of you. This is a perfectly managed guesthouse with all you need for a perfect hideaway during your visit to Firenze. Both Nicola and Joyce are great communicators (easy to reach, so if you have questions or concerns, just ask) and their staff delivers top service in cleaning the room. The guesthouse is lovely decorated, the breakfast is just what you need with a variety of products that are of high quality. The lobby is cosy and coffee, snacks and some fruit are available. There is even a steamer for your clothing! Nicola and Joyce provide many suggestions for good restaurants and bars in the area what makes it possible to escape the most busy places. Finding a quiet and lovely place like this after a day of working in and visiting Firenze is great. I stayed for a week and enjoyed it very much!

Absolutely nothing!

Great little apartment! Very modern, very clean with a very comfortable bed. I was fortunate enough to get a room with a balcony which meant the world to me. I loved opening the big doors and letting the summer air in. I appreciated how helpful and friendly the staff were (they were contactable by Whatsapp and responded quivkly) and also appreciated having a big TV with Netflix and Disney+ to fall asleep to movies to.

This is really tiny feedback but the shower pressure wasn't great, and because there was no door for the shower, lots of water ended up on the floor but nothing the bath mat couldn't handle. The air-conditioner was also not working properly on my last night. I didn't mind though, but would be good to get instructions for future guests on how to fix if it's an issue with the WiFi.

You get access to the building and your room via a keycard so you can come and go as you please without having to ring anyone to let you in. About 10 min walk to food market and 20 to the famous bridge. About 20 min walk from train station too. We had a balcony in our room so we enjoyed a bottle of wine one evening, only two balcony’s in the whole hotel so it felt very private. Lovely staff, very helpful giving you a map on check in and recommending things to do. Very clean and comfortable bed. There is a car park very close for 15 euros a day. Just what we needed for a long weekend in Florence.

Would absolutely stay again! Lovely customer service, very clean and comfortable rooms. Felt new and modern in comparison to similar accommodation in the area. Huge breakfast available at a small extra cost if you wish. We were also able to drop our bags early and were offered coffee, water and bathroom if we needed prior to our room being ready- which was a considerate touch.

Everything was great! If i had to say one minor thing - given cost of the room, would have liked small amenities such as soap and shampoo to be replenished during our stay.

I absolutely loved my stay and would recommend Terra Artis to anyone (I’ve already told several friends). The room was the perfect space for one person, the decor was beautiful and the location is very good because it’s far enough away that you’re not in the tourist hub BUT it was quite a walk back and forth to see the sights every day.

The only thing I would complain about is that the roadworks around the corner were VERY loud and start very early in the morning. I slept with the window open because I was hot, but even after I closed it I could hear the constant machinery so had to use earplugs.

Super spacious room, exactly like what you see in the pictures. The check in process is somewhat smooth, interestingly we only get to meet the staff when we check out. They are quite responsive on the App or Whatsapp. The bed is perfect, best bed ever in this trip.. well worth the money and much needed after a long day's walk. There is a laundromat near this b2b (like 2 mins walk from the building) hence an easy solution for laundry.

the location is on the edge of ZTL zone, so it is a little bit of walking from rest of the town

Modern, comfortable and convenient guest house, located about a 15 min walk to centre of Florence (which meant it was in a nice quiet neighbourhood). Check in was easy, and allowed to early, the owner was very friendly with advice, and a list of local (excellent) restaurants etc. rooms were very clean, and modern for Italy. Air con was good, if not a little slow, however the owner did say to message him if we wanted it kept on in the day. Don’t let the walk put you off, this was a great place to stay!

The Staff was AMAZING! They provide their guests with a comprehensive list of recommendations and great service. The breakfast was absolutely one of the best parts of this hotel. The area is very quiet and safe. The room was very clean and modern. We were lucky enough to have our own private terrace which made enjoying the welcome bottle of Prosecco (for our Honeymoon) that much more enjoyable.

Slightly further from the main attractions than we thought but still not a bad walk!

A very stylish decor in a brilliant location with very friendly staff. The breakfast was lovely and the room was very comfortable. The bed being one of the best we’ve slept on in anything other than a 5 star hotel.

Very loud construction work in the property above our room starting at around 8:15am. We were already awake, but imagine if you wanted a lie in then it would have been an inconvenience. I imagine this is only temporary, and it would not stop me returning to Terra Artis if we came back to Florence in the future.
