Location was perfection as were the hosts 🐶! The kitchen was set up absolutely perfect for our needs....we were site seeing and eating out so only required coffee, fridge and minimal kitchen set up...although the hosts provided kitchen essentials. This will be our return spot when we come back to Florence next Spring!

The only suggestion would be (and it may not be able to be fixed) is the water pressure when the two showers or the dishwasher is on simultaneously....just something to know but not a big deal! The stairs to the upper level might benefit from grips on the treads...a bit slippery.....

The hotel is within walking distance of the Accademia Gallery of Florence where the original sculpture of David is located. (buy your tickets in advance - I didn't and had to wait three hours in line). All other ancient/historical sites of interest are within walking distance (buy those advance tickets to reduce the time waiting in line). Check-in was effortless and accommodating. The NON-SMOKING ROOM was spacious, and clean, and had beautiful large windows that were hundreds of years old. The online photos of the room are very accurate. The air conditioner was great and kept my room very cool. The large bathroom with shower was also great - the hot water supply was excellent. Daily vouchers for a small tasty hot breakfast (see photo) at a nearby local restaurant were included in a small envelope during check-in. Hotel rooms are on the second floor (no elevator).

The location of the hotel and of course the staffs. After checked out for few hours, my husband realized that he forgot his keys on the safe deposit box, the guy there was very helpful (I don’t know if he is a staff or the owner), but he has saved us today and now we have arrived in Germany and could go inside our house due to his help. Thank you so much!

Nothing actually, but I have a feedback: During our stays, we had a key (I thought it was a decoration at first) and a room card. We tested the key on the first door downstairs and it worked but the key couldn’t open the second door upstairs, it would be nice if the key work for both doors, just in case a guest has lost his phone or no battery left, so she/he can still go to her/his room.

Location was excellent and the room was cleaned each day which was great. Bathroom and shower were both a good size and our host was very friendly and accommodating to our needs and questions. A surprise bottle of champagne for my girlfriend’s birthday was really exceptional service!

Hardly anything. The AC in room 3 I think needs maintenance as it did not function to its potential. There was a Iron that is available to use but it leaks and needs replacing.

it’s a bit far from the town

The location was perfect, near by the city center. And olso a local shop/ bakery near by. We had a warm welcome of the host, he gave us much information of the must visits and things to do. Very good airconditioning. Self check in - and check out possible.

We stayed for 5 nights, the cleaning came every day but didn’t change the towels. The cleaning was not “perfect”. The pressure of the water in the shower was soft (olso because of limescale)

Great location, huge room and all the necessary facilities for a great stay. It was so thoughtfully arranged to ensure that you are comfortable, and I loved the spacious terrace for the sunny mornings or sundowns. The staff were exceptional, always responsive and kind. I really appreciated knowing that I was staying somewhere with wonderful people and felt very safe and looked after. In terms of the actual room: the bed is huge and comfortable, the large windows bring in a lot of natural right, it’s on a very quiet street in a perfectly safe part of town so there’s no noise at all, and you are about an 8 minute walk from the Academia gallery, which is then a short distance from everywhere else. I loved coming home to this place every day.

There is really nothing to dislike. Just note that if you have luggage or mobility concerns: there is no elevator and it is on the first floor (which means you go up 1.5 flights of stairs). It really is not an issue for anyone that doesn’t have these concerns.

Very nice clean apartment. Daily cleaning service, towels, shampoo, soap, and a hairdryer provided. The possibility to make coffee in a personal coffee maker or tea. The landlord was very accommodating. Everything was fine.

I would appreciate more options for a savory breakfast (we had toast with ham and cheese for four days) and fresh orange juice instead of concentrate. However, the pastries were very good.

The room was spacious and well decorated; the staff friendly and helpful. The location is great because it's in a quiet and elegant area away from the busy city centre. Having a fridge is really helpful to keep water cold in the summer, and providing a coffee machine with fresh capsules every day is very thoughtful. The A/C worked well.

The night tables were minuscule and there were no reading lights by the bed. The lights in general were very dim. The bathroom was spacious but there was only a central light (no light on top of mirror) and no space around the basin for my beauty case, which was really annoying. The wardrobe was quite small and the bottom half was occupied by the fridge. The rail in the top part was way too high for me (I needed a chair to reach) so we ended up leaving our clothes in the suitcase.

Really nice staff. Location of the hotel is also nice, close to (10 minutes walking) a big parking place. You cannot access there with your own car as this is within the area which only allows locals to drive. Room is a little bit small but it’s still fine for a couple of nights.

Breakfast is served in a bar called Nab (200 mts. from the hotel) and quality was very poor, specially considering that you can get a decent breakfast at any random bar by 10 euros.
