Upon our late arrival, we were provided with clear instructions for entry. Although the reception desk wasn't always open, we effectively communicated through What's App. Our accommodation was on the 3rd floor, but an elevator was available. It was confusing to figure out how to leave, but we eventually discovered that one of the keys opened the door leading to the elevator. The building felt very secure. The room was clean, and the location worked well for us, as we were within walking distance of the Uffizi Gallery and other sites we wanted to visit.

Reception had limited hours and our schedule did not coincide.

The room is located on the 3rd floor of a stoic building that is about a 15 minute walk to the city's main train station, Santa Maria Novella, the tram that takes you to and from the airport, the Montelugo bus terminal (meeting point for some tours) and some of the city's main attractions, thereby making it a great location. The building is on a quiet street and there are places to eat around, plus a mini grocery store. It was quiet during my stay. The room was large with plenty of space to move around. It had a round dining table with 2 chairs, an alcove with a small fridge and on the other side of that alcove, a mirror, some shelves and a place, with hangers, to hang clothing. There were also wall hooks. Although the building itself looks old on the inside and the room was in need of some minor repairs, the room was modern, clean and comfortable. WiFi worked well. The location of the building was great. I enjoyed my stay.

Whoever did the housekeeping the second time around, moved the things I had in the bathroom from where I had placed them; my shower cap was also on the floor. Inappropriate and unprofessional.

We liked the spacious rooms and the view to the garden on the other side of the street. The bed was comfortable, the hosts were very kind and helpful. It is quiet at night, the only noise that you here are the trash trucks in the morning at around 7.15. The location of the place is perfect, 20-25 mins from the train station and 15 mins to the cathedral, we were always passing through the main attractions when we were getting back to the B&B. When the hosts are in the reception (from around 8.15) you could have a fresh coffee from the machine, which they bring you to the room, which is very nice. We had later check in, so we used codes, which was easy and fast, also we stored our luggage at reception on our last day, so that we could have a final walk before we go, the possibility for storage of our luggage after check out was very convinient. Generally, we like our stay very much and we would definatelly recommend this place.

The breakfast was big, with 4 options, but most of them are mainly different types of bread,plus focacha or quiche, croiassants and muffin. One time I chose the option containing yogurt and fruits, but the fruits were not ripe. The breakfast as described above is too much bread, no fruit, bacon,cheese, etc, but the good thing is that you can buy them outside and store in the fridge in the room, so you could always add to your breakfast. But for the price of the room and the typical italian breakfast it was fine. And the other negative is that breakfast is served since 8.15, which in case you have earlyer ticket for a museum is not convinient.

Very clean big and comfortable room. Loved the little communal terrace outside. Breakfast was delicious. Having Netflix in the room was a bonus too! Hosts were very nice.

The internet was a little unreliable and it was a little loud in the mornings sometimes, I was woken up twice by one of the hosts having loud conversations with other guests or cleaning outside our room - not crazy early, but I like to sleep in.

Super-friendly couple who run the place; the flexible check-in helped a lot with our travel times! Be prepared for a tasty choice of breakfast with a view, which will start your days in Florence like a dream. Double-glazed windows (!) and comfy mattresses will help you recover at night (you'll need it, depending on your itinerary). The bustling centre is 10mins by foot, yet the street is comparatively quiet. Price is more than fair for such a spacious room - would stay again anytime. Highly recommend :)

The generous amount of shower gel and shampoo could be less addictive ;) The fragrances will keep reminding us of Tuscany

You can check in anytime you want, they are very helpful about this issue. The room is very comfy&useful, it is fresh and has enough space to move. It is also high roof. The bed is very comfortable, the room is very clean, everyday they ask for cleaning, it can be cleaned everyday if you want. You have many things as toiletries; towels, vanity kit etc. If you ask for bathroom slippers they provide too. In the bathroom there are shampoo and shower gel with push bottles in the shower. The hotel is close to Cathedral, San Lorenzo or Train Station with 10-12 min walking. The street is not very noisy and there are many good places near for eating. Also there are markets near the hotel. There is a small balcony for smokers also. There are menus for breakfast, you can choose one of them everyday. Breakfast is pretty okay I think, we cannot finish. Basicly pastry , fruit juice and coffee - you can take the coffee from the director's room. They are leaving the breakfast with a basket at your door every morning. A quick breaksfast to save the time. The pastries are coming from a Boulangerie freshly. There are kettle, minibar and glasses, plates etc. in the room. Definitely can be chosen again.

The breakfast can be served earlier and we wish the food to be served hotter. It was fresh, tasty just a bit cold. Heater's efficiency needs to be better. It is hard to heat up the room again after turning off. The location of the hotel needs to be walked a bit from the some touristic points.

Our room had a breathtaking and charming view. We loved the location as it's close to most of the touristy attractions in Florence but it's in a quiet street. We also loved the service from the staff who are charming and friendly. The breakfast is totally worth it too and it's brought to your room. I would stay here again.

It was wonderful and divine. I loved everything about this place.

An old house, partially and tastefully renovated, not too far from the city center (at walking distance in about 15 min) but quiet. Excellent breakfast, nicely served. Some rooms have a very nice view (room 1 appears to be particularly nice). Staff went out of their routine to have breakfast ready for us earlier than 8:30 (the usual timing) so we could be at Uffizi on time. Checking in after hours of reception staff presence worked flawlessly via text instructions.

Our stay here was unbelievably good. The room was dreamy and the bed was so so comfortable. The location is great because it’s close enough to walk to the centre but not so close that you are bothered by the noise. The hosts were extremely nice and friendly. I’m vegan and they had no issues adjusting my breakfast to fit my dietary requirements. 10/10 would recommend.

Very spacious and clean room with very nice and helpful staff! It was also well located (about 10mins walking from the Duomo) and in a safe neighborhood. The residence is at the 3rd floor of a relatively old building but they've kept the residence in a very good condition! Breakfast is served in the room which is very convenient and there are a lot of options to choose from.

Breakfast is ok but could be slightly improved.
