iQ Hotel Firenze

The hotel is absolutely new, stylish and modern. It was 100% remodeled in November of 2022. Breakfast spread is the best we have ever seen in Italy, an amazing selection of meats, fruit, juices, green salad, pastries, and many other options for only $10. Free sauna and hot tub till 7pm, teas, coffee, water in the room, fancy bathroom and shower, beautiful decorated and in the great location, only few minutes from main area but also located on the quiet street. Any requests have been answered by hotel personnel.

We didn't know that the pool was only seasonal, and that we had to pay a fee for a gym to use it.

My experience in this Hotel was amazing. I was soo exciting and happy in my stay. the Hotel is new . closed to train station and inside city center , and close to everything. 1- Reception staff are very kind, respectful, quick response. 2- Kitchen staff was so amazing people and so friendly, welcoming, highly and quick service. 3 - The room facilities: everything is new , comfortable, very clean, high technology, a lot of things inside room for free. no need to think that they miss something. everything perfect. 4- Washing machine so clean, new , easy to guest to use it. also all the stuff are ready to help you. 5- Breakfast, very delicious, many varieties, highly quantity, the stuff like working like Bees. highly service, elegant and gentle. also the same quality of services when we use the restaurant at night. prices for restaurant was very normal. 6 - there is fitness area, but I didn’t use because I didn’t like sport 😅 also there is SPA. everything organised. 7- Value of 💰 : it is very amazing price for this highly quality of services, location and facilities regarding my experience, I really advice to visit this hotel , for sure you will enjoy. everything is perfect, For future, I advice the management to thing about: making bigger SPA and indoor swimming pool. because the hotel so new and it worth to do it.

iQ Hotel Firenze is a modern gem. It is located in a quiet area of the town but still walkable to important points. The staff here is excellent and friendly. They have a laundry machine and for 8 euros you can have clean clothes! Can't beat that!!

Currently, there is some roadwork going on in front of the hotel, but that's no fault of theirs. Coffee machine in the breakfast area is a joke. It mixes in cold milk without warming it. Alternatively, you could ask for warm milk and drink American coffee, but we did not come here to drink American coffee! I suggest the hotel should either replace that machine or make coffee inside and serve it.

The hotel staff were exceptional - in fact they were the most friendly and helpful team that we met on our 3 week Italian holiday. Reception organised a bagged breakfast when we had an early morning departure for a tour,, they fixed my suitcase bag handle when I arrived and were always absolutely happy and charming. The self service laundry was also very helpful. Everything WORKS in this hotel and we had a very comfortable 4 night stay.

It was a bit of a walk into the main centre but honestly we needed the extra steps to walk off all the pasta we ate!

The staff was excepcional!!! The hotel is brand new, super comfortable. Great decoration. Walking distance to everywhere!

Fabulous stay at the IQ, really couldn’t fault it. Great location just slightly outside the very busy centre but easily walkable to all sights. Parking was expensive (as expected in Florence) but very easy and spaces were a good size. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable, air con was spot on. Breakfast was excellent as was the on site restaurant. Little swimming pool but perfect for a dip if you fancy it. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately there was building work ongoing in the street outside which was quite noisy on weekday mornings. Absolutely not the hotels fault at all.

restaurant slowness when it came to room service , first day ordered room service, awaited over an hour to be delivered, after numerous call and commitments of the restaurant to call me, the hotel front desk person was very apologetic and eventually said my meal , will not be charged , as they where sorry on their side, but unfortunately upon check out, I was charged for the meal, which I did not mind to pay, but the restaurant needs to up their game, on the positive side the service for breakfast was excellent.

Comfortable rooms with complimentary toiletries and soft towels. Excellent bar and outside seating areas. Wonderful onsite restaurant where we had a delicious pizza, but they offer a selection of homemade pastas too. Nice touch was a free appetizer - mini cheese tartlet from the chef. Attentive hotel staff, who provided exceptional service. Location close to Duomo Cathedral & museums. Lovely plunge pool and sun terrace. We were also given two discount cards - one for a free prosseco/espresso from the bar and another for 10% discount at the onsite restaurant. The price of the rooms including a buffet breakfast was very reasonable and competitive for the location in Florence.

The bar does not open until 5pm.
