Wonderful location. Fabulous terrace overlooking the lake. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful and made us feel nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were really comfortable and clean. Being able to have breakfast on the terrace each morning, overlooking the lake, was lovely. The small size of the hotel, enabled us to make friends with other guests.

One waitress was rude shortly after our arrival, when we were exhausted after 12 hours of travel and just wanted a celebratory drink on the terrace around 6.30pm. This spoiled our first evening/experience. We informed the manager who apologised to us, but we never went back to the terrace again for a drink in the evening. This was a shame as I booked the hotel after a friend told me how lovely it was to have a drink on the terrace overlooking the lake.

The location was superb. Easy to reach from train (if you´re ready to walk a bit), close by to restaurants & sightseeing spots. Service was superb - extremely friendly staff. Room was so clean and very beautiful even though I had the cheapest single room I could choose.

Breakfast had a lot of waste - everything packed in single use portions (cereals, mysli, nutella and others individually packed) this is not very ecologic. Other than that the breakfast was lovely.

The location is perfect on the waterfront in Varenna and yet just at the end so it also has some privacy. It feels intimate and elegant and charming. The staff is all very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is very good and brought to your table overlooking the water and laid out so pretty. The room stays cool in the hot, humid summer nights and is very clean and comfortable. The bar is lovely with wonderful lake views. It’s easy to step out and walk to the town square, waterfront, and ferry. It’s a great plus to have the lift to parking and town square with luggage also as there are many steep cobblestone steps.

Loved everything! Would go back in a heartbeat. ❤️

Excellent location right next to the lake.. Clean rooms with a friendly staff. It is about a 10 minute walk from the ferry station or a 15 minute walk from the train station. Excellent breakfast overlooking the lake.

Location is amazing. On the lake, with aweosme breakfast, quiet patio to relax with food or drinks for hotel Guests only. Easy walk from the train and great ferry access to bellagio.

Small Room and bathroom but I didn't spend much time in there so not a big deal.

Everything. The location. The views of Lake Como, with a private balcony, were unparralled. The included breakfast was fantastic. It is a 5 min walk to the ferry, a 2 min walk to the main area by the water with bars, has it's on restaurant and bar. The staff, particularly Tatiana, was fantastic. Some of the most helpful, warm, friendly, people I've ever met. they also have their own parking lot.

No complaints. I literally can't think of anything.

Parking difficult to reach and with additional fees. we had the last 2 single rooms which were quite small with no lake view but were adequate . I didn’t like the croissants and the tea! We had a problem connecting to the WiFi

We had a unique lake view room with a private entrance that was adjacent to the main property. The room was very cozy and comfortable. The staff was very friendly & the small balcony in our room with a view was a major plus!

Breakfast needs some improvement. It was very pastry heavy and not much option for vegetarians. In my opinion pancakes would be a great addition.

Beautiful spot, comfortable, tasty food & drink, and wonderful service (always friendly & offering help - they were even nice enough to let us continue enjoying the balcony for a bit after the bar was supposed to be closing at night)!

Only downside was that there were only stairs (no elevator) leading up to the rooms, but the staff helped us carry our bags.

I had the most magical stay at the Hotel. The staff were amazing and the breakfast on the terrace with views over the lake was special. I especially loved that the bar was open to hotel users only after a certain time. It made the atmosphere very tranquil. The discount at the restaurant for guests was also appreciated. Swimming from the pontoon in the lake was really special and the location was unbeatable.
