Beautiful location, clean and spacious rooms, and overall great value for money.

The only minus was the breakfast. They ran out of bread and eggs more than 30 minutes before breakfast officially ended, so several guys in our group had to buy their breakfast elsewhere. Also, to be honest, the quality of the food was note great at all. It must be said, though, that breakfast in general is the Achilles heel of the otherwise divine Italian cuisine, so it's not a massive surprise – but still not good.

We've stayed at this hotel many times and have always had a comfortable stay. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are always very clean. This stay, however, we couldn't figure out the air conditioning, we thought we had a room without air. We left a window open and got bitten by mosquitoes all night. Our own fault, we missed the second remote on the wall that controlled the air con. We had a laugh about it in the morning.

My husband loves their breakfast and their coffee. Everything is homemade and delicious my husband tells me. Since I am gluten free, there isn't anything for me at breakfast except yogurt. Adding some fresh fruit, cheese & hard boild eggs would be nice for those who can't eat pastry.

We have stayed many times at B&B Amfiteatro as visit Lucca regularly.They offer property in different buildings all close to the piazza and all decorated in same style..super clean and comfortable with great facilities,many with a shared kitchen which we find extremely helpful.

This has happened twice now..no answer at main reception buzzer..no answer to phone calls(several)Receptionist finally appeared around 20 mins after check in time.Some guests could find this very concerning and stressful and we feel it needs resolving.

Very nice location. Right on the most beautiful part of the City. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Nice smell in the rooms. Very nice view - the street near Anfiteatro. Very good location.

The AC was tooo loud... And in the night I had to put my in-ear buds to not hear the very loud AC. Sometime it is very hot, and you can't sleep without AC.

Excellent location convenient for all the main attractions in Lucca. Characterful property with excellent shower and bathroom and good air conditioning during a really hot spell. Staff were courteous and breakfast at the next door restaurant was plentiful and always good quality

Air-condition! Lovely! We were mostly out during whole day so we just slept there. Clean comfortable barhroom with a shower. Common area with others. Breakfast included, we could see the owner was doing his best to make everyone happy. Fantastic localization in Lucca.

Well, we ate dinner in restaurant once but didnt like it that much. Didnt try more, maybe we were just unlucky

excellent location close to Amphitheatre and good restaurants. Room very comfortable and use of kettle and cups was nice to make a hot drink. Good breakfast served outside when weather good at restaurant next door.

Slow draining sink and smelly drain drain. we stayed 4 nights and room not cleaned or towels changed. Regular hours of attendance for staff could help, we rarely saw anyone there.

Can't beat the location - right in the heart of Lucca but peaceful in the evenings. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. The building and room were charming and very clean. Bed was incredibly comfortable and a great size. Fresh linen and towels provided. Breakfast was plentiful and slightly varied each day. We appreciated the drinking water available in the b and b. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Bathroom sometimes had a smell of drains, but given the age of the city this can be expected. Air con was welcome due to the heat but was very noisy and hard to sleep through it when on a higher setting.

Location is perfect. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Also great size for families. Kitchen facilities if staying in the suites are fantastic.

Could have done with some Teabags in the kitchen and milk in the fridge (if I was being picky). Breakfast was average. More choice would have been nice.

The location is really convenient, the bed extremely comfortable, and the staff very friendly and flexible if needed. The bathroom is modern and comfortable. Highly recommended!

The air conditioning is a bit noisy, nothing unbearable.
