The breakfast was excellent and the best we had in Italy. The location was perfect and very close to all the sites we wanted to see and to some nice restaurants. The beds were comfy and the room was very clean and large enough for our 3 people. There were some narrow stairs up to the room which were not a problem for us (mid 60s). The room was quiet and we felt very safe in the area.

The location was superb, offering easy access to the beautiful city of Luca and all required amenities and attractions. The accommodation itself was cosy comfortable and beautifully designed truly making it a home away from home location. What made my stay even more special was the hospitality and warmth of the hostess Katia. She went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed and made us feel incredibly welcome. Attention to detail and genuine care for her guests truly made the experience exceptional.

Access to property is via steep stairs, this may be an issue for some

Located near main shopping street and other attractions in Lucca. Irene the host was very nice and very helpful. Breakfast was simple but good.

No elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up and down 2 flights of stairs. Host helped carry upon our arrival. Air conditioning really didn’t work at all but it was cool in the evenings so we opened the windows and it was quite comfortable……if traveling in the summer could be a problem

Excellent location within easy walking distance to all the main sights in Lucca. The room was basic but very clean and suited our needs perfectly. We arrived later in the day and were provided with very clear instructions on how to check in after hours. The host was very kind and served a wonderful breakfast with homemade pastries. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thanks!

The location was excellent and the staff were very nice, despite the language barrier. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the room was clean. I requested Gluten free food for breakfast and they purchased food specifically for me, which was much appreciated.

Only complaint is that the towels need replacing - they were quite thin, worn (edges had loose strings), and stained, which was a bit off-putting. The room itself was also a bit perfumey.

The room was spotless, intelligently planned, wood shutter enhanced an excellent, quiet sleep. It is located on the main street of the old city with immediate access to old city restaurants and sites and the bike/path,wall. The breakfast including eggs, cheese, cookies/cake/cereal coffee was tasty and provided by a smiling, efficient host. The parking was well explained including access to otherwise inaccessible ZTL areas. Would absolutely stay here again!

Location! Owners! Great quality/price value! If u don't mind narrow staircase and don't have 5-star hotel expectations than u'd like this place!

I probably can have few suggestions for improvement. But in this case price will go up. So I'm fine with everything:)

Family run apartment cleverly and professionally converted into bedrooms/bathrooms with central communal kitchen/dining room. Owners are delightful and breakfast is really good. Located on one of the main shopping streets through the pedestrianised centre.

Parking is some distance away because of city pedestrianisation so plan ahead. Steep stairs to 2nd floor would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

Everything was lovely. But on the booking.com web page it states that there is parking at this property. I booked this room on the basis of this, there was not parking! I could park for 18 euros, which I think should be stated on booking.com that parking is an additional charge.

Everything was great!!!! Spacious & clean room, within the historic center of Lucca, close to all the main attractions, the trattorias & gelatterias!!! The breakfast was very good and the staff was super helpful. They provided plenty information with places to visit and where to eat. They also helped us find a parking spot very close to the premises. Thank you very much for the great stay!
