Yes, we loved it. Central location and very special Place. The breakfast was really good and Carlotta treated us very well.

Our thip started with a big surprise. Our room wasn't located in the palazzo itself but in other place without a lift. So we recomend the travelers to check VERY carefully the specifications for each room before the booking. Not all of them are at the palazzo. Fortunatelly the B&B chabged us to a room in the palazzo. The main issue was the lack of lift in the other location and my parents (old) had troubles to reach the room.

There aren't enough words of praise for this hotel and the wonderful people who own and run it. The place and the people are truly exceptional. What becomes clear immediately is how sincerely they care about making your stay luxurious and enjoyable. Their welcome was so warm. the breakfast we were served each day was really lovely; everything skilfully homemade; delicious. We can't wait to return. Having travelled throughout the world for 40 years, and having stayed at some iconic hotels, I can sincerely say that the Palazzo Rocchi is right at the top of the list of world class places to stay. The splendour of our room with superb views over the piazza and general areas of the hotel are outstanding; coupled with exceptional service, warm and friendly proprietor and staff, all make this hotel a top choice for anyone visiting the beautiful city of Lucca.

You could not wish for a better location: just in the very centre of Lucca, on the beautiful Piazza San Michele! We’ve got a room with the breathtaking view on the Chiesa di San Michele in Foro. A real pleasure was to enjoy the aperitif on the beautiful terrace on the top floor from the Palazzo Rocchi. Very friendly and helpful personnel, delicious breakfast, gorgeous interior of the Palazzo, all this made our staying in the Palazzo Rocchi very pleasant and romantic! We will be definitely back!

Lucca is a special city in Tuscany that we love to revisit every time. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade and stayed in a spacious apartment consisting of a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom. The architecture is special and stands out both for the utility of the space and for the beauty in detail. The breakfast served in our living room was very good, and upon departure we received a nice gift from the hosts who were very nice throughout our stay. We will definitely come back to this lovely city and this cozy place.

We had an absolutely amazing stay. Location is perfect, super central right by landmarks. When we arrived we were surprised with an upgrade to an amazing suite, that absolutely took our breath away. The staff was super friendly, room impeccably clean and beds super comfy. The icing on the cake was the amazing views from the massive period windows overlooking the square with the twinkling Christmas lights, magical! Breakfast was amazing, served in the stunning old ballroom. All home made :) Thank you so much for having us, and we would love to stay again!

Nothing, everything was amazing

Where do I start. Location superb. Room with private terrace was AMAZING and even better than it looked on website. The owners and staff were wonderful and made you feel so welcome and as if you were part of the family. The Tuscan platter they prepared was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble.

Nothing we didn't like. A minor thing was the lift only goes to floor 4 so about 30 steps to the apartment with terrace but that's to be expected. It's a very old and beautiful building

TThis is an exceptional place to stay right in the middle of Lucca. An historic palazzo with magnificent painted rooms both in the public spaces and in the guest rooms. Furniture and decor absolutely in keeping with the period of the building, flowers in the public rooms, very welcome air conditioning in the guest rooms (it was very hot weather during our stay) and absolutely central to everything you might want to visit in Lucca. The breakfast was so good! Things to eat typical of Lucca and sourced from local suppliers in the same street. Really zero chilometri. We would certainly stay here again.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike at Palazzo Rocchi.

Fantastic location right in the heart of Lucca Old Town, stunning building and thoughtfully decorated interior spaces. Opulent but not ostentatious, beautifully clean and exceptional staff who went above and beyond (even after hours when we couldn’t work the hot shower) and couldn’t have made our stay better than it was. Breakfast in the stunning breakfast room was all locally sourced, delicious and local cuisine, fit for kings and queens. A true hidden gem. Thankyou Alessandra and all. Couldn’t recommend this place more! Incredible value for money.

The room was absolutely amazing, with windows that overlooked the main square. We stayed during "Festa di Santa Croce" which was a great experience to see Lucca with so many festivities. In the square during the day there was a brass band playing music we could watch from our hotel windows which made our stay even more memorable. The level of service from the staff couldn't get any better with their attention to detail and an amazing breakfast with local products which changed each day. Nothing was too much for them. The hotel arranged parking for me in a secure valet parking garage down the road which is guarded constantly during the way and locked at night which was only. 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

The accommodation is a gorgeous place, we were in the Queen suite and it has an unique setting which makes you feel like in a palace. They put an extra comfy bed for my child with no additional cost and this was very valuable for us. The breakfast was served in our chamber, which I also appreaciated! The highlight of the place is Manuela, the owner. What a lovely woman and host she is. She welcomed us, let us stay in the property’s living room after checking out for my husband to finish his work and all out of her courtesy, provided us with fresh lovely Italian coffee, water and focaccia. The Hotel is also small and intimate, which makes the experience even more unique. In our way out we were also surprised by a gift from Manuela! What a lovely stay!
