We liked the hotel itself: renovated, updated, modern, clean, cheerful, nicely appointed, in a great location, high ceilings, opening windows, great shower with a pleasant ambiance, enough place for the suitcases, wood floors, no heavy curtains, high quality of air and well functioning everything in our room and bathroom. We loved the friendly, patient, professional owner and staff of the hotel: Irina and Barbara were super helpful, did everything with pleasure and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel was always sparkling clean because there is a wonderful cleaning lady, who understands your needs even without asking. We had an awesome stay and hope to repeat it in future!

nothing in particular….I would prefer a slightly softer mattress personally….but every person is different, of course.

Location was excellent, close to town centre, good restaurants etc and a short walk to the stations, spa and the funicular to Montecatini Alto. Carlo and his team were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious with a varied buffet and a choice of cooked breakfast prepared and served with great cheerfulness by Barbara. The room was always spotlessly clean and cool. The room was spacious with a superking sized bed and a palatial bathroom. There wasn't a restaurant or bar but water was always available and there was an honesty bar if you wanted a drink. Coffee was also available in the breakfast area and there was a kettle and fridge in the room. You could sit outside the hotel with tables and chairs on the street. Carlo and Irina recommended some excellent restaurants. Montecatini Terme made a great base for visiting other towns in Tuscany. We really enjoyed our stay in the SmArt hotel Bartolini and would definitely recommend anyone to stay there.

This was a three star hotel that more than met our expectations. The description was accurate. If we had wanted a balcony or a swimming pool we would have selected a different hotel.

A lovely hotel in the centre of Montecatini. Large, spacious and clean rooms and bathroom. There were interesting LED lights above the shower. Abundant and tasty breakfast prepared by the lovely lady in the kitchen. The hotel is near the Montecatini station, about an eight minute walk. The receptionist was really nice to us and always made sure we were comfortable and all of our needs were met! The was also a sink in the restaurant from which you can fill your water bottles with mineral water any time you want! I highly recommend this hotel!

The breakfest was very good, the location was perfect. For sure if we decide to return to Montecatini Terme, we will choose the same location. Congratulations for hospitality and for the best services that we had so far in a hotel in Italy.

Do you like wondering around an Italian neigbourhood with many local people around? Would you like to spend your money while supporting local businesses? Would you like to know what is the real Italian hospitality? If you decide to spend your holidays in this place you probably get the best value for your money. Every time I talked to any employees of the hotel, I had the feeling they are listening to me. I wasn't just the next question to answer or the next problem to solve, I was an honored guest there. Thank you Carlo, and thank you for everyone who worked on to provide us one of the best hotel-experiences I ever had. I love Italy and I love Italian people and I love a place where I can go back without hesitation, like I am going home.

Some says a pool would be nice, but trust me a few corners away you have plenty of opportunities to find a bath, or baths to be precise. Carlo will help you to choose which option would be the best for you.

Location was great staff very helpful with everything and great with recommendations

I think a bar would be great there, there was facility to get a drink from the honest bar but it lacked the atmosphere of a bar

Lovely spacious room, quiet and Carlo and his wife were super helpful and the lady making our breakfast was great....remembered what we liked and cooked fresh every morning. Hotel is ideal location for exploring areas of Tuscany by train.

Everything! This hotel is fabulous. Gorgeous large room, immaculately clean, with an amazing shower, friendly and helpful staff, great location. Hard to fault. Good breakfast option for just €8.

There is an honesty bar with wine, beer, coffee etc which was very quiet.

Very pleasant people, so kind and friendly. Clean, warm, comfortable room, great shower, stable wi-fi, nearby free parking (5 minutes), tasty breakfast, good position, perfect place and stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great and the chef was very accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Small hotel which we prefer.

The view wasn't great and nowhere really to chill out/ sit.
