The hotel's position is right on the main Murano canal. So in the middle of everything, but due to the island of Murano not having a 'night life ' it was peaceful in the evenings. We had a first floor room with a canal view. Stunning room and views.

"Didn't like" is too strong! but could suggest that the continental buffet breakfast could possibly have been more varied. What was presented was lovely but exactly the same each day. Maybe fresh sliced bread and a toaster. (Not looking for the Full English Breakfast) Also whilst tea/coffee facilities were available in the breakfast room outside of breakfast hours. It would have been nicer if there had been a mini kettle in the room for a cuppa in bed when we woke.

It was very near water taxis and our room had a beautiful view of the canal. It was a good location.

We were pretty much on our own. It’s not really a palace there is just rooms and a breakfast room. We lost power our first night and had no air or anyone on site to communicate with. The proprietor did fix air and the next day when we returned to our room there was a bottle of champagne. The breakfast was ok compared to the other places we stayed and enjoyed.

The staff was super friendly. They corresponded with us prior to our arrival to make sure everything would run smoothly. The view from our room was the water. I was surprised that we could not hear any of the outside noises since we were right on the main walkway through town. On our last morning there we needed to catch the water taxi before breakfast started so they prepared us a breakfast to go. I would definitely stay here again.

Quiet clean and central

No restaurant at all open for dinner within walking distance of the hotel on Wednesday night. One only (owned by the hotel) was open nearby on Thursday night. Staff of the hotel suggested a single option for dinner on Wednesday but it was closed. Even the very few locals passing by were at a loss to suggest anything. Finally at some considerable distance we stumbled across a small Hyatt hotel serving very expensive bar snacks. Guests of the hotel really do need to be advised re this limitation so they can be prepared. Anyone with mobility issues or a woman walking alone on the dark and empty canals would have been in real trouble. It felt quite unsafe at times. The second night (Thursday)we ate an early dinner on Burano before returning to Murano which solved the problem.

Very warm and welcoming staff. Extravagant, opulent room with a fantastic view. I am sure they could have helped us with anything but we didn't have any issues. It was great to escape the bustle of the city to our lovely retreat in Murano. I was surprised how accurate the photos were of the rooms!

Only absence seemed to be air-conditioning, only seemed to provide heating, unless I wasn't using it correctly.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good air conditioning. Only a short walk (5 minutes) to the public boat service. Very quiet. I would probably book a room overlooking the canal in future - and Yes I would come back.

Shame there was no restaurant or bar, as there were no other places to eat (apart from one night) anywhere on Murano. However, a quick boat trip to Venice and everything is there.

Breakfast is basic but sufficient. Bed is extremely comfortable and A/C worked well. We had a balcony overlooking the main thoroughfare on Murano and despite the restaurants below, the doors shut out most of the noise. Be mindful however that Murano has little open after about 6pm, not bad if you want time to rest though.

Showerhead was actually terrible - it does not stay upright after half a minute so you end up showering with one hand holding it up. Also suggest a mat for the bathtub as it's extremely slippery and we almost fell over a few times.

If you want a quiet visit to Venice, Murano is the place and Hotel Murano is excellent. Beautiful, good-sized room (ours had windows over the canal). Big bathroom with soaking tub and shower. Quite adequate breakfast. Highly recommend this little hotel.

True pretty much wherever you are in Venice, WiFi was weak at best.

Breakfast was very nice - good coffee, meats and cheese, yogourt, rolls, pastry. No hot meat or eggs. Comfortable breakfast room. Great location on Murano. Our room faced the canal. I would stay here again!

Air conditioning was not yet turned on for the summer season - was a bit hot at night. Occasional early morning noise from the canal.

location was perfect, right on the canal, handy to everything. Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

A perfect stay marred by the fact we couldn’t get back in to pick up our bags. We left our bags at reception and arranged to pick them up at 12 midday. Door locked and no response to our phone calls or messages. The man in the shop in front had an emergency key and we were finally able to retrieve our bags. We had a flight to catch so pretty stressful.
