Absolutely great hotel in an amazing location. Very close to the water bus station with a direct connection to the airport Marco Polo and other destinations in the lagoon. Lots of restaurants in the area. Very quiet and off the tourist destinations. Only takes a 15 min walk to the centre of Venice. The room is very spacious and so clean. Alessandra is the most lovely host. Helped us with all our questions and even got me prosecco for my birthday (thank you!). The breakfast was great. On the day of our departure we couldn't make it for breakfast because our flight was too early, so we were able to have breakfast at a coffee shop around the corner (free of charge!). We've never seen such a great service! We had an amazing time in Venice and we definitely recommend this hotel! If we ever visit Venice again, we'll definitely be staying at B&B Al Pozzo Di Luce!

The host is incredible, we had to leave early on both days and she was very accomodating by providing us breakfast from a nearby cafeteria. She was always available to answer any questions and very responsive online. The room is very comfortable and quite a satisfying size. The seperate bathroom was very clean and very comfortable as well. Highly recommend this especially due to the location as it's very close to a ferry stop and with nearby cafeterias to eat. Furthermore, it is also walking distance from the centre. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We loved every minute of our stay in Venice and the cherry on top was our stay in B&B Al Pozzo di Luce. The property is at 20 minutes walking distance to San Marco and 2 minutes to the F.te Nove station and we took advantage of this as we manafed to visit the whole lagoon in the days we stayed here. Being in a quiet side of the city was also great in terms of resting. The breakfast mas delicious and out host was beyond frendly, taking time to give us some derections and suggestions also a brief history of Venice. We had a great time and will be surely comeing back to Venice and B&B Al Pozzo di Luce

The accommodation is very beautiful, cosy, bright and spotlessly clean. Location is perfect, if you want to visit nearby islands, because vaporetto station is 2 minutes away by walk. You can also walk to center (around 15 minutes). It's quiet in this part so we slept well. Alessandra is very kind host. She prepared a good breakfast, which we ate in the breakfast room together with the guests from the other three rooms. She also gave us recommendations for restaurants with delicious food. We higly recommend that accommodation :)

The location of the hotel is at north of the island and it is a very pleasant area to stay. Lots of good restaurants and easy to reach with ferry. You can reach station, Murano island and beach at 20 minutes. Alexandra helped a lot when we reach to hotel. There is kitchen which you can use every time. The bathroom was really nice.

The variety at breakfast can be better. It was insufficient.

Room was very clean, bad big & comfortable, air condition working perfectly what helped on those hot summer days. Around 900m to the San Marco square. Very near there’s a delicious restaurant by the sea (not the closest one but the one a little bit on the right). The owner speaks fluent English so there’s no problem in communication. Delusions typical Italian breakfasts every morning with perfect coffee. Although if you expect big, salty breakfast - those are typically Italian (small & sweet). We love meeting the culture so for us it was perfecto but if you need something more be prepared on your own bc Italians don’t eat big breakfast & don’t expect them to change it especially for you. What was really nice in our case was that we could enter the room in different hours (late 7pm) bc our road took a little more than we expected 👌🏽

The only thing we didn’t like was the little, not nice smell in the bathroom. It was PERFECTLY clean but I think it was the problem of the drains - but I also think the owner can do nothing about it bc I think it’s the “Venice” problem.

I write with the experience of several visits to Venice and would return to Pozzo di Luce without hesitation. The accommodation is spotless and welcoming. Alessandra speaks perfect French and English as well as Italian and is very polite and helpful. The location is only two minutes from the airport boat quay and within easy reach of San Marco, with which Cannaregio compares favourably in tranquillity and cost and quality of restaurants. It is also a fascinating district in its own right.

A minor quibble: the lack of an easy chair in the bedroom.

The owner of the place is very friendly and nice. Always ready to help. She gave us good advices regarding what to see and how to move in Venice. It was like staying at a friend place but with all comforts of even more expensive hotels at a price of a B&B. She cared of my lactose intolerance at breakfast and I had plenty to eat and drink. The position is perfect, in a small a quite side street and 4 minutes walk to the stop FONDAMENTE NOVE where it’s possible to buy daily tickets and to have access to 10 different Ferry Lines. The room is big, clean, with modern amenities. I loved the big shower and the shower gel.

Alessandra is extremely helpful and friendly host! She described in details in advance how to get to the apartments and check in. It is located in 2 min of Fondamenta Nuova, water bus stop. 10 minutes walking to Rialto. Close to centre, easy to get on water bus from railway station and very quiet at night. Also easy to go to Murano and other islands. Couple of very nice restaurants nearby, right on the embankment with terraces. pleasant breakfast (juice, coffee, ham, cheese, pastries, jam, fruits, yogurt)

The owner was super nice and helpful. She offered us guidance on where to eat locally and was very accommodating. The place is very clean and tastefully decorated. The location is extraordinary - very close to both the touristic center as well as the water bus. If/when we return to Venice, we will definitely stay here again.
