modern, quiet and clean

there wasn’t a shuttle included in the price of the stay also the only times you could return were 4:30 & 11pm would have been great to have an earlier time than 11pm to see Venice at night

We notified front desk staff of a dangerous condition in our room (floor tile sticking up) two days in a row, and they said they'd report it. But at the end of both days they told us that the maintenance person was not scheduled to be in and therefore nothing would be done. They could have at least told us this fact when we reported the problem. And when we asked which coffee packages in the room are regular or decaffinated, we got opposite responses from different staff members.

Lovely new hotel with contemporary styling including design nods to Murano’s glass making fame. An inexpensive shuttle to San Zaccaria (near San Marco). A very comfortable bed (despite having a central zip. Nice shower etc. Great service from Elena and her front desk team, the restaurant staff and in particular a world class massage from Elisabetta in the spa. Cute (if over-lit) local trattoria either side of main entrance (the one on the left is better).

No shuttle back from the city between 4.30pm and 11pm is a bit strange. New rule means rooms can’t be chilled below 23 degrees, so we were too hot to sleep (although we were told this applies right across Italy it wasn’t the case in the other two hotels we stayed at on the same trip). Unlikely to return in the summer months. Paying for fast wifi shouldn’t be necessary in what is designed to be a business hotel. The complimentary water and coffee pods were not replaced after the first night, despite requests (we stayed 4 nights). No pool - feels like a missed trick in a city short of swimming pools. No hand or body lotion in the bathroom.

Hotel had a really good vibe. Trendy, rooms were good, everywhere was really clean and tidy. Housekeepers were very good and check in staff

Breakfast. This was awful. It was really quiet but nothing was stocked. When I asked if any food was coming out they said yes but 10 minutes later when it came out it was all cold. Didnt get offered any hot drinks and cold drinks weren't stocked. They charge £24 euros per person and it wasn't worth £1. Personally I'd walk a few minutes and have breakfast at the Hyatt Centric. We did this and it was fantastic.

Excellent historical hotel complex. Beautiful room with very comfortable bed and silent aur condition. The diverse breakfast in a beautiful place with the nice service makes us happy every morning.

The only complain goes to the reception staff that was not attentive and poorly informed about local events. They could not support us in our planning or booking of restaurants or tickets. Even though there was plenty of email communication in advance for a birthday celebration in the hotel. On the actual day they prepared nothing except a written message on a mirror. Customer relations did not approached us even we had a conversation the day before in person.

To be fair, I liked everything or almost everything. We stayed in Murano for my wife's birthday, and the hotel's staff was very attentive to help me with organizing a surprise for my wife. I wanted to say a BIG THANKS to Elisabetta - she was just excellent in everything she did for us, and I could not thank her enough. She helped to organize a birthday surprise, was always available via email, and was very friendly and helpful :) This was the highlight of our stay here, but everything else, including the facilities and breakfast, was really good too.

- Coffee at breakfast via coffee machine would be nice to have, as sometimes it took too long for servants to serve all the people at breakfast.

The location is good, the staff were extremely helpful, Venice is not the easiest place to get around, so their advice was invaluable. The hotel arranged transfers to the airport when we returned which was by boat and then car and it worked seamlessly taking the stress out of a potentially difficult day of travel. The barman was worth a drink alone, just watching him mix cocktails and interact with the guests was entertainment itself he is a credit to the hotel.

Not the hotel's fault but the location overlooking the lagoon made the terrace bar, an insect trap as the sun went down, make sure you have plenty of repellent on!

The location was fantastic - close to the Vaporetto stop and tremendously easy to find. The staff on the front desk were incredibly helpful and friendly - every time we went to reception there was a different member of staff on duty (they were ALL exceptional). The shuttle boat across to Venice worked out cheaper - and way less crowded - than the service Vaporetto. The rooms although not particularly large were well appointed, clean and a delightful cool and air conditioned haven after a day in the heat of Venice.

Despite the bar appearing to have a good number of staff working it was very unclear as to what they were doing most of the time. The bar was quiet and every time we needed a drink service was slow or non-existent. We were served incorrect drinks - which we questioned but were told we were wrong. Breakfast was fine but, again, the wait for drinks (coffee) was unacceptable.

Our room was clean and bright, fully equipped. It took me some time to understand that you can order bathrobes and some other services via app, but overall it was great and very quickly delivered. Breakfast is quite good but coffee is excellent. The restaurant is perfect, with a magnificent canal view. The overall location of the hotel is superb, very close to Vaporeetto stops and right on the canal, so it gives the full experience of living in Venice. It was a great decision to stay on Murano island, away from the touristic buzz dut with full experience of Venice, just be ready to spend `20 mins vaporetto ride to Venice itself, but this is something we really enjoyed. Oh, they have a shuttle to the S.Marko, which is a very nice touch. This hotel is conveniently located, very new, clean and modern which was what we wanted because the majority of Venice hotels offer you this classic but a bit outdated style... Nice facilities, decent restaurant and panoramic terrace, and very welcoming staff and service. We didn't visit the spa, though, maybe next time. It was my Bday and I was congratulated by the hotel staff, which was unexpectedly enjoyable, thanks.

Despite the facade being a typical Murano house facing the canal, there lies behind it a modern reinterpretation of a former glass factory. We had two stylish rooms with modern bathrooms for two nights, and although we did not eat in the restaurant, we enjoyed drinks and coffee on the terrace overlooking the lagoon. The staff were friendly and helpful. It provided a calm, spacious base from which to enjoy the sights of Venice in a hot July.

We were happy with the voyage by vaporetto to Venice: but you need to bear that in mind when booking. There is also an Alilaguna service direct from Murano to/from the airport (30 minutes, 8 euros pp).
