Excellent location, just a very short walk from the water taxi stop. About 15 mins to St Mark's Square and the Rialto. Many shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Lovely small hotel with a few rooms and cute garden. Friendly staff who were helpful and 2 gorgeous cats! The breakfast was good and they made us fresh, strong, cappuccinos, which is a big plus from me! The room was small and smelt slightly damp. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot and strong, although we did have a minor leakage from the shower basin across the bathroom floor and into the bedroom, which was not great. The room was quiet and OK for an overnight stay but one of the bedside lights was not working and there was a distinct lack of plug sockets, which meant you had to choose between charging your phone and using a bedside lamp or the TV, for instance, which again is really not ideal. Other than that, I would say it's a lovely hotel and I would stay there again in similar circumstances.

The facilities are nice and clean. The garden is beautiful. The staff was polite and gave us directions. The location is very good, in a calmer area but still near the center. The rooms were okay and comfortable. The breakfast had many good options.

There was air conditioning in only one of the rooms, which we didn't expect. So the other room had one fan and only one outlet. The staff offered another fan, but there were no other outlets to use. So I recommend making it explicit the two single bed room has no air conditioning and offer visitors more outlets to use in that room.

Affordable Accommodation: Given its location in Venice, the hotel offers a very affordable rate, making it accessible for budget-conscious travelers. Attentive Staff: The staff at Casa Boccassini were incredibly nice and attentive. They allowed us to store our luggage both before check-in and after checkout, which was very convenient. Resident Cat: A lovely cat roams the premises, adding a homely and charming touch to the hotel atmosphere. Comfortable Rooms: Although the rooms are not very large, they are comfortable for a stay of a couple of nights. Beautiful Building and Garden: The hotel building is beautiful, and the garden is a pleasant space to relax and enjoy your stay. Tasty Breakfast: The breakfast provided is tasty and plentiful, giving a great start to the day. Convenient Location: The hotel is conveniently located next to a water bus stop, allowing easy access to various parts of Venice. Quiet and Beautiful Area: Situated in a quieter part of Venice, the hotel provides a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, yet still close enough to enjoy all the attractions.

Broken Shower: The shower was somewhat broken, causing water to spread across the bathroom floor when showering. Limited Storage Space: There wasn't enough storage space in the room, which might be a concern for guests with more luggage.

Very nice, friendly & helpful staff, lovely breakfast selection and nothing was too much of an issue for them, location was excellent & the room was very clean and made up whilst we were there which we did not expect as only there 2 nights. would definatly recommend here.

Only thing we would have liked would to have had our own kettle in our room so we make a late night or early morning cup of tea or coffee, but this is minor really, just positive critisism.

The hotel exceeded our expectations! The staff were very accommodating and polite as we didn’t speak much Italian. We were given a map of recommended places to visit which was very helpful! The bedroom and en suite were very clean and a perfect size for the two of us. We enjoyed breakfast in their beautiful garden, and got to meet the resident cats and tortoises. It was the perfect location for our short stay. Not too far from the lively areas of Venice, but far enough away to enjoy a quiet nights sleep. We cannot recommend highly enough, molto bene!

Really lovely location just a couple of minutes walking away from the ferry, and from several attractions. The reception, and our welcome was outstanding. We got a map of Venice with tips and tricks marked on it on arrival, and also my girlfriend was allowed to use the staff bathroom. Everyone was really nice. The breakfast was outstanding. The whole lobby, and garden is lovely. Honesty, we left to Rome, but we wished we didn't. I wish I could go back sometime! Also, great price for the location, and the services.

The AC in the room could not be used for heating (honestly for obvious reasons) but on arrival my girlfriend was cold, so it was a slight inconvinience. We had spare blankets in the wardrobe, so no problem. Also, a small fridge, if not a minibar would have been nice. The booking did not state that we will have one, don't get me wrong, but still, it is a small investment, which would have made our lives much easier.

The staff was really nice and the room was very clean. Breakfast is continental style, not incredibly vast, but enough varienty to find something you like for a few days. Location is close enough to anywhere you want to go on Venice, around 25min on foot from train station. Nice cats 🐈 that welcome you in the evening

The pictures are of the indoor garden and a little outdated so when we arrived I was not sure it was the right place. The main issue we had was the build of the rooms, maybe this is a Venice thing, but whenever people upstair were walking the whole room would rumble and you felt every step. Also the room was not level, but that was not an issue for us. There were also a lot of bug marks on the wall (I think mosquitoes) and on the last night we were bit during the night. The windows don't have insect net, again maybe a Venice thing.

Great location that is easily accessible with the water bus. Guilia was incredibly helpful before we even arrived at the hotel by answering our questions regarding luggage holding and water bus routes. All the other staff members were friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Breakfast was great and the lobby/outdoor patio was charming and peaceful. The hotel was within walking distance of the Rialto bridge and St Marco’s square (10-15 minutes). Highly recommend this hotel!

The property was in a fantastic location. Only 10 minutes from St Mark’s Square and a few minutes from one of the main Vaparetto stops at Fondamenta Nove, which was really convenient. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

There was nothing I didn’t like, but as it was only a B&B facility, I feel it could have benefited from having a small fridge in the room. Otherwise everything was great.

Super helpful staff. They stayed late to check us in when we had to walk there during the water taxi strike. We loved the local neighborhood- very quiet and great restaurants. This area is not touristy but is a 10-15 minute walk to everything. Steps from the vaporetto stop for Murano and Burano. Rooms are not fancy but the breakfast was very good.
