I liked everything, Great location near the archealogical museum. Close to subway. The room was very nice, bed comfy, A/C worked very well. Everything very clean. The biggest plus here was the staff. During my stay, my cell phone was stolen while I was on the subway. The lady at the hotel was very helpful in trying to help me locate it. She also gave me very honest opinion that it would be difficult to retrieve. Thats what I needed, honest information. That evening she even brought a bottle of wine to my room. If I am ever in Naples again, I will absolutley stay here again.

Within very easy, short walking distance to most of the sites, particularly close to the Naples Archeological Museum and the historical centre of Naples. There are probably better areas in Naples but it suited us very well for what we wanted to do. We particularly liked the fact that the building was very safe and secure. Main entrance is closed off to the general public.

Nothing much to dislike. There are no breakfast facilities on site, breakfast is by vouchers at the cafe on the corner with which the hotel has an arrangement. Very generous but the cafe was small, noisy and chaotic most mornings. However, very typical Naples vibe.

The building was spectacular. Our room enormous with beautiful authentic furniture. We loved the location, wish we had booked more than one night. We had breakfast delivered to our room. Taxi was arranged for us to get to the airport. There is a cute lift too (50c) but worth it. From the main train station take the metro to Museo, then its just around the corner (1.50 euro) We ate at La Lazzara, by the port, fabulous food, family restaurant, we queued but so worth it.

Leaving.

The hotel is well located, close to the places we were interested in visiting. The room was excellent, very spacious and clean. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The shower has good space as does the rest of the bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helped us order a taxi to the train station the day we returned, which was very helpful. It is located in a building that is many years old, so we decided to use the stairs instead of the elevator. But the stairs are wide and easy to climb.

My suggestion is that they improve the breakfast. They gave us coupons for a place where they serve coffee, croissants, sweets and not all people are used to that type of breakfast. The first day, a young lady who attended us was very friendly and served us coffee, croissants, and juice. The next day the young man who served us said that we need to pay for the juice. We got coffee and croissant, and had to wait almost 20 minutes, when we received the breakfast it was cold. Breakfast is essential and I think it is a point to consider.

Quirky and lovely building. Loved the antiquated lift up to the apartment that the accommodation is on. Host was very pleasant and helpful. Room was pretty. Nice to have a coffee machine in the room. Minibar was very good and inexpensive. Host organised a taxi for us for the airport the following day - which was much appreciated. Breakfast pastries and coffee was delicious. Air conditioning was fabulous. Liked the prints on the walls. Near to the Archeological Museum - which is worth a visit. Host had a list of the best places to visit in Naples - very helpful.

Plastic disposable cups - not great for hot drinks. It would be much better to have proper cups. Shower head was poor - needs replacing. While the breakfast was nice the service was awful. We waited over 20 minutes just to get served. There were other people who gave up and went somewhere else. The breakfast is in a cafe down the road.

Lovely historical old building, comfortable clean room, right temperature, easy to find property, friendly staff. Received vouchers for breakfast (pastry and hot drink) for local cafe 3 min walk away, didn't always use them as we went out very early and we spent one night in Rome.

Remembering to make sure we have 50 cent coins for the lift (we used it a lot as my husband has a knee problem), however, this is not a criticism - we understand this is part of the building and it is advertised on the website so we were aware of it when booking.

Great location, in an amazing building (with lift/elevator). Metro is close by and you can reach the main railway train station in a few minutes. The rooms are spacious, elegant and clean. The breakfast is served directly to the room. The staff is very very nice and super helpful if you need any advice on where to eat or what to visit.

Fabulous location easy walk to important sights; only a few hundred metres from the Archeology Museum (important for us). Comfy bed and good air on. Free wifi worked well. Very helpful staff. Lift was a godsend for our heavy bags.

Naples is very noisy- there was constant sirens, car horns and people shouting late at night (that is 11pm to 5am!). Could hear even with shutters and double glazed doors fully closed! We had been upgraded to a larger room but it was over the street. Ask for an internal courtyard room, if possible. This is not a full hotel, so there is not the same service. But it was sufficient for us.

I chose this place, because it was so close to the archeological museum. The Museo metro is also close by, as well as some food places (pizza, bakery, cafés). Very lovely, friendly and helpful receptionist. The room was also lovely, clean and as advertised. Good breakfast supplied, as it was very filling and it was a café used by locals.

My room was immediately next to the entrance/reception area, therefore, it was very noisy with other guests coming into the building when very late. It was also noisy when other residents from other apartments would return late (and drunk). I found the couple staying next door were noisy, anti-social, obnoxious, passive-aggressive and inconsiderate, as they came back after 1am and started playing (t.v.) music loudly (as the party bedroom wall was thin). It was an unpleasant experience, which is why I had to deduct my rating. I do understand it is not the fault of Dimora delle Arti, but it does mean that I would stick to staying in hotels in the future. No reception staff were present from the evening and nor were available for check-out time.
