We had a wonderful stay thanks to the amazing staff. Breakfast excellent. Parking perfect. Staff over the top. I had to walk my dog 2 am and the gaurd stayed attentive for me to return. Thank you

Only I wish for them to attend the shower in room 439... it needs to be maintained as it is old marble and cement linings have washed out and also mold under silicone. It can be easily attended . I forgot to mentioned at check out. I am sure they will pay attention.

This trip was booked to coincide with my wife's birthday. I emailed hotel to inform them. They were very good at replying but said because I booked through booking.com they could not upgrade. The first night we stayed in a terrible room. tiny, very noisy, toilet didn't flush.. the staff did move us next morning to a much better room. This is despite at initial check in being told there were no rooms available.. anyway the rest of the stay was pretty good but for the price of the hotel they don't do much for the fee paying guest! Nothing to mark my wife's birthday which was very disappointing.

A beautiful classic hotel where we also stayed for a week 6 years ago. At the time it was an opulent and chic hotel with a personal approach that we still talked about years later, that's how good the experience was. Now 6 years later we are somewhat disappointed and we had to temper expectations. Post covid, staff, attention and small details such as complementary water, water for the road, coffee maker in the room, etc. seem to have been cut back. These are small details, but of great importance at this level of hotelery. Grade 8/10. Value for money 7/10.

The room with sea view has little added value compared to the other rooms because it is smaller.

We had an excellent stay over the New Year - the breakfasts were first-class with very attentive staff on hand to help. The Reception staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. The view from the balcony could not have been better and there was a good choice on the television for all nationalities.

Whilst the quality of the room itself was of a high standard ie good shower, good bed etc, we would say that the size of the room and bathroom were a little bit tight on space. This would be our only complaint.

The rooftop bar is amazing and the breakfast spread was one of the best we had on our entire Amalfi Coast trip!

The room decor could probably use some updating. Also, the hotel staff need to advise the taxis they call or have out front NOT to take advantage of their guests. An unscrupulous fellow charged me EUR 35 for a less than 5 minute drive to the port. After that, I always asked for pricing upfront (which they can all give you so make sure you know the charge).

we stayed at the beginning of our trip and at the end. the staff is wonderful, the service classic, and the location centralized. we loved the sense of old style charm. the room the second time was much much better than the first. once the staff knew us, I think they gave us a good room (not an upgrade, just good). when we first got there we were put near a room getting construction at 7:00 am every day. the room had not been remodeled and was very dated. we didn’t know to ask for a renovated room. just ask!

Staff was helpful when I requested to change my room. My new room was beautiful and clean. Spacious bathroom, everything you need available. The hotel is located directly on the promenade. The dinner in the hotel restaurant was great with an amazing view.

The gym could be better, good thing no one else was using it, I think 2 would have been a crowd. The room that I had to stay in on the first night was definitely sub par given the price

It is a fantastic hotel with friendly employees and incredible dining. The location is perfect by the sea and so close in a taxi to the ferry terminal. I walked along the marina to watch the sunset. Breakfast was so exceptional. Great coffee. Great choice for vegetarians and wonderful staff.

Not the hotel's fault. Due to wind, the roof terrace could not open but I loved drinking wine in the piano bar instead.

We absolutely loved our stay. The downstairs bartenders at night were wonderful, as well as the breakfast waiters and waitresses. Breakfast was a 10+. Something for everyone. The location is fabulous and safe. We will be back

Nothing could have been better- just a heads up.. you do have to make reservations at the pool. And the pool is indoor. The outside part that's in the pictures is a lounge, which we did spend a sunny afternoon at. But drinks are $20/glass. Unbeatable view though.
