Hotel is in the Piazza Garibaldi, very close to the train station and airport bus drop-off. Its handy for visiting places like Pompeii and Herculaneum as the station is so close. As you would expect, station areas in any city are not the most picturesque. For a budget hotel it was quite good. Breakfast was typically Italian, not a vast amount but adequate. Room was clean, staff friendly, wi-fi good, and there are a few restaurant/bars close by. Naples is probably not everybody's cup of tea, its a busy noisy city, but I found it quite safe (just be careful crossing the roads!) and the Archaeological Museum is amazing, I also suggest the catacombs of San Gennaro. Some of the more famous pizza restaurants are also within walking distance of the hotel.

Room simple (if a little dated) but very comfortable. Fantastic location right next to the Metro and central train station with numerous restaurants nearby. Excellent value. Breakfast simple but good by Italian standards. And simply the friendliest and most welcoming staff I have ever experienced (and I've stayed at a lot of hotels over the years!). I'll definitely be using Hotel Potenza for my next Naples stay!

wifi a little unreliable but this was such a minor quibble - I didn't need to use it much!

Staff were friendly assisting with any enquires we had . Property was close to station , with many restaurants around ( including MacDonalds - to get a break from all the pizza & Pasta restaurants) Room was as described, Queen size bed which was comfortable Continental Breakfast was provided and sufficient & included tea/coffee, juices, & pastries, rolls ham & cheese ( only opened for breakfast & unable to make tea/ coffee after being out all day) Close to Hop on /off bus stop & pick up location for other tours only minutes away

Refrigerator (small) was rusted & not working, Towels in the bathroom were not regularly replaced, the large window wasn’t screened but did have nice curtailing. The little things - Shower screen appeared to be rusting & opened at an angle, didn’t have a Soap holder

Just a 3 minute walk from the main train station and 2 minutes to the airport bus. The hotel is all on one floor but no lift so please take note if you have heavy luggage The hotel reception staff are very helpful and offer a 10. Percent discount at the restaurant next door with good food The Hotel breakfast is very filling and is part of the room rate with both hot and cold drinks all self service along with the food

The stairs to the first floor This is a 3 star hotel but if it had a lift it would be classed has a 4 star hotel

It was just as I expected. Close to the train station which we needed. It is actually a charming place. Great value. The breakfast was as expected. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy looking but safe. We traipsed around looking for gelato at night and felt safe. There were military guys around with serous wrongly. Would recommend, especially if you need to be by the train station.

We could have used a shelf in the bathroom and a mirror in the room itself.

The receptionists were very kind. The first time we stayed at the hotel, we arrived a few hours before the official check-in and they let us leave the heavy baggage in a special room until the check-in. The second time we were also a bit earlier and the receptionist went out of his way to make us feel welcome and even called the cleaning lady to see if by any chance our room was ready a bit ahead of time (though we just came to drop off the luggage there). The cleaning lady made an extra effort, too, and was also very kind when showing us the way to the room a few minutes later.

Breakfast could have been a bit more varied (e.g. it would have been nice to have some fresh fruit) but it was OK.

Spacious room, large bed, lots of storage places, big bathroom. Personnel was helpful. Breakfast was well organized. Location is perfect if you travel for business - near the Railway station and two metro stations.

The room (the last in the long corridor) was a bit noisy. The windows couldn't stop the noise of people and cars passing down the street. There were small problems with the shower and the siphon which can easily be fixed.

The hotel was very good, clean and well located, unfortunately there is no elevator so you have to take up your bags, luckily we stayed on the first floor so it was not that difficult. The breakfast included is very basic, but enough to get your day started, you cannot take anything before 7:30 a.m so if you leave earlier, there is a good chance you will lost that day breakfast. Also if you need to take a taxi to the airport, is nearly impossible before 7am, so plan ahead any type of transfer, which is not far away, but at 4 a.m the only possibilities are private cars which will rip you off, always negotiate before.

Lack of helping to find a reliable way of transportation, and the breakfast is not available to take with you or other solution, other than that... would come back.

it was in a Nice safe location. It was very close to everything. All the tours that we wanted to try picked us up from this location. It took us five minutes to walk to the train. So it’s easy to drop your luggage off before walking around town. they allowed us to store luggage at the front desk the day we arrived. Since we arrived before check-in. And the day we left since we left later in the day.

unfortunately our air conditioning broke in the middle of the night. They did a good job of changing our rooms. So we were able to sleep well. it just took a bit of maneuvering.

Central location next to train Station...Room big plenty of storage.. Staff...

I booked room suppose to have refrigerator(none) it had a small balcony which was covered in cigarette butt's, bird pooh, so couldn't step out on it...Breakfast was adequate but no bowls or milk available for cereal, staff had to look for a bowl, only teaspoon to eat cereal...
