The B&B is in a nice area within walking distance of the train station and the historical centre of Rome. Beautiful clean well maintained rooms and Rosanna is an amazing host who is happy to spend time giving you hints and tips to help you make the best of your time in Rome. The homemade treats she leaves each day are such a nice touch. Enough variety at breakfast to set you up for the day. This was our 2nd visit to Rome and 2nd stay at Aquarius Inn, I’m hopeful for a third.

Nothing!

I like everything of this property. My room is not only the biggest one, but also very beautiful. The whole property is super clean. Rossana is very nice. She taught me how to make a coffee using Italian coffee pot, and even gave me a gift on my birthday. I feel at home during my stay.

Nothing.

What an exceptional stay! There are 3 rooms stylishly furnished with a mix of aged and new furnishings. The whole place was spotless and in communication with Rossana, having it so clean was a top priority of hers. A large bedroom with high ceilings and yummy home made treats left for us to savour. The area is quiet, and block out shutters resulted in us sleeping like babies. Located within ten minutes walk from Rome’s Termini station. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment and we were encouraged to use whatever we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast provisions were plentiful and of good variety. The best part of our stay by far was Rossana, who was a very attentive and a generous hostess, with a great local knowledge who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. I have no hesitation in recommending this b&b to anyone wishing to enjoy their stay in Rome.

Rosanna is a wonderful inn keeper. She cares so much about her guests and this 3 bed/3 bath bed and breakfast. Her cleaning protocol is very thorough every day. Breakfast is limited but she aims to please and was willing to expand our options. We liked the location near the train station with excellent restaurants downstairs and the best gelato a block away. Location is quiet.

Traveling during season is just more expensive so we found it a little pricey but it was season. Bed and furniture are older but clean and comfortable. Be sure to make good arrangements to be let in or you will be locked out of the building and inn. You need her to let you in on first day and she lives elsewhere.

Everything. Ross, the hostess, could not have done more for us. She arranged to meet us early to check in and even left treats for us in the room. The room itself was bright and very quiet with a high ceiling, comfortable bed and excellent air conditioning. The shared kitchen was available at all times, well stocked and well equipped. There was also a separate shared dining/sitting area. The bedroom was made up every day and towels changed regularly. The area was full of restaurants and neighbourhood coffee shops and within easy walking distance of Termini Station, where the mainline rail and Metro lines meet. There was also a convenience store and pharmacy on the street outside and supermarkets nearby on Via Venti Settembre.

I couldn't fault anything.

Rossana is the best Host, we ever had. She is very kind, takes always loving care of her guests (we had a small fresh pastry in our room every day), gives so many helpful tipps for restaurants, how to explore the best places in Rome and how to get to all the places. We felt so much welcomed at Rossana's Appartement and it always felt like coming home, when we were getting back from the city tours or dinner. Next time, we will be in Rome, we will definitely try to stay again at the Aquarius-Inn. Thanks again Rossana, your are simply the best :-)

Rossana is a wonderful host; we could not have felt more welcome. She left baked treats and fruit every day in our room, with some delightful extra touches when she discovered it was my birthday. She is a lovely person and went out of her way to help us make the best of our stay in Rome.

Other reviewers are complaining about the breakfast; yes, it's basic but it's plentiful. You are in Italy, don't forget, where they breakfast lightly. If you want something more sumptuous, Rossana allows you to store your own supplies in the kitchen fridge. You can't cook here, but there is a microwave for reheating if you need it.

Rossana is an amazing host, very careful about her guests and very helpful with everything you need, including a tour of Rome's most important sites and museums. The rooms are cleaned daily, towels changed every two days and the breakfast was a nice addition to the stay. Location wise, Aquarius Inn is very close to the Termini (Rome's central train station) where you can either get the train or the subway and go visit the whole city. Also, we found some really nice restaurants in the neighborhood, all within 2- 5 minutes of Aquarius Inn, which have very good food with decent prices. We will return!! Thank you Rossana!!

We had a wonderful stay in the Aquarius Inn. The location was perfect for us as it was a very short walk to the train station. There were also some excellent restaurants on the same street as the B&B. Rossana was the perfect host. She gave us lots of great recommendations as well treating us to some homemade treats during our stay. The room was very comfy and our room came with a lovely en-suite. The breakfast was self service and it was perfect for us to set us up for a busy day of sight seeing. If visiting Rome again we would definitely stay here as it felt like a home away from home. Thank you Rossana.

Everything looks cozy and is clean. Our room was big and had a big wardrobe and a big bed. The host is extraordinary! She bakes home made treats for her guests everyday and writes little notes to go with them. She also explains everything about the Inn very well and gives a list of tips on restaurants, grocery stores and the best public transportation routes. The location is amazing, it is about a 10 minute walk from Termini (central station) and it’s in a neighborhood with some nice (inexpensive, not so touristy) restaurants. There is also a working elevator.

A little misunderstanding (that didn’t really matter to us, but may matter to someone else) was that there would be a (common) kitchen. There is a kitchen with a sink, microwave, refrigerator and stove, but guests are not supposed to cook or prepare meals. There are no pans or cutting boards. But you can use the fridge to store some groceries and warm some stuff up in the microwave.
