The apartment was big. Very comfortable for me and my couple. there was an extra bed which was handy to have, as well as a desk. the bathroom was very spacious and the shower was perfect! Every member of staff we interacted with was really kind and helpful. they were patient with my poor Italian and eager to help me improve it a little bit. Breakfast was varied. classic Italian breakfast with pastries, cakes and some cold meats and cheese. Fruits, juices and delicious freshly made coffee. the view of the cathedral from the balcony cannot be better. 10 minutes walk to Termini and 25 minutes walk to Piazza Navona and the main old town. this was wonderful.

Fantastic location for sight seeing. Close to all the main attractions but not so close you're swamped with other tourists. Clean room, great air con, and the inclusion of the shutters to black out the windows was great.

The only thing... and it is a little quibble is we told the hotel it was our honeymoon and we were kind of expecting something a little special or a congratulations but this wasn't accommodated for. Also... while Rome is heavily catholic and this is all good with me I wasn't expecting a cross up in our room or the virgin Mary looking down on us while we're sleeping. But like I said... a minor point.

Great place to stay and enjoy Rome. Hotel is right in the heart of Rome and yet the area was not loud at all. (Walking distance to all the attraction, if not, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel and metro in 2 min walk) The staff was polite and helped us with all our requests/questions Really clean

This may sound stupid but the pillows are way to small and way to soft. Don't get me wrong, the bed is perfect.

The Basilica Hotel is ideally situated for easy, short walking access to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Roma Termini station. From the station, the Metro A line took only 20 minutes to the Vatican Museums and was easy (and cheap!) to use with contactless entry payment now means no ticket required. The Leonardo Express train (14 Euro) direct from FCO airport takes only 30 minutes to Roma Termini and the hotel is a 10 min walk from this station - superb! The Garden facing room was quiet (for Rome!), with soft rumblings periodically from the underground Metro but not enough to disturb sleep, and spacious with basic needs for a short stay in the city. There is a convenience shop nearby for bottled water and drinks for your room, and plenty of restaurants within minutes walk. Overall, the location and excellent cost makes the hotel an ideal stay for a short city visit. The staff are all amazing, even finding for us an air fan to help circulate the air in the room whilst the aircon kicked in!

The breakfast offering was a little disappointing as the only options were very sweet breads and cake, limited cereal and small rolls and meat, the coffee and juice was satisfactory.

Location of the Basilica hotel is very convenient. It takes 10 minutes to walk toward two A-line subway stations, one of which is Termini train station, 20 minutes to Piazza Venezia or Coliseum. A lot of small restaurants with a Roman cuisine are in the area. The hotel’s stuff is very helpful to find your bearings around the city. The room is spacious, clean with an old classic style décor and the modern bathroom amenities. Our windows were looking into a quiet courtyard, overgrown with the trees, vines and flowers.

The breakfast is very good, but the emphasis is done on the sweets. The cheese, salami and the hardboiled eggs are your non-sweet options, which are greatly appreciated. The breakfast starts at 7:30 am, which is often late, if you have an early tour or departure. An option of “to go” breakfast is a wending machine style, it has a cookie, toast and a juice. Sweet ☺

Good location, it easily walk from Termini to the hotel and go to main scenes site; Good breakfast, serve fresh made expresso. Cappuccino andf American coffee, different bread, cake, donuts, fruits, yogurts, cheese, ham, etc.. good service, room condition is simple ( without refrigerator， coffee maker, microwave etc.) but very clean, high ceiling , air condition is quiet, very comfortable, my wife no complain:)

I booked through Booking.com and paid booking .com and received booking .com's receipt. At hotel I only need to pay city tax, but after scan my credit card the hotel staff gave me 2 credit card receipts that confused me: I thought they double charged me and also the amount is differ from what I booked with Booking .com. Finally I found out one receipt is not my credit card ( I believe it is Booking.com's that is for the transition between booking.com and DNB hotel). It is not my credit card, none of my business, please don't confuse me. Since booking.com had issued their receipt so DNB only need gave me receipt for what they charged from my credit card for city tax, then attach a full amount invoice that won't confuse me and would be more clear and simple.

The location was amazing!!! Only a 10/20 minute walk to most of the local attractions and just around the corner is a tourist information box. The absolute best restaurants are a 10 minute walk away (not the ones next door). The staff are always on hand and super friendly.

It's a traditional Italian breakfast (sweet treats e.g. sweet pies, pasties and coffee) which is great but if you're not used to sweet things for breakfast you might want to give it a miss.

We loved this part of the city in a good neighborhood with central location to many tourist sights. (We walked to nearly all of the popular sights...and the front desk is also helpful in summoning a taxi if that is needed.) The included breakfast was very nice and the entire staff helpful and friendly. We loved being able to have breakfast on the breakfast room balcony on nice mornings! The sleeping experience was very quiet (until the church bells ring around 7:30...which was fine for us).

The WiFi strength was generally rather weak and often had to go out into the hallway to get it activated.

The hotel was very clean. Towels changed every day, wonderful sounds from the courtyard (parakeets) and sometimes the bell gives a great mood. Very comfy beds. Great location - 4 km radius we can visit most of the attractions. We especially want to praise the kitchen staff, especially the Lady with glasses, who made delicious coffee.

We propose to remove the door stoppers. We stepped on that pin a few times and the pain was unmerciful. After opening the wardrobe, the pin is located in the center, in front of the wardrobe. The breakfast Booking GENIUS was very little varied. The same every day.
