This was my second stay at this hotel and this time I booked two rooms for 5 nights. We had an amazing time and our rooms were lovely (double rooms). The location is really good - the Monti area is close to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum (walking distance) and also to the metro and train stations. The area itself is full of charm and has lots of places to eat and drink and it was really lively in the evenings. The hotel offers a complimentary afternoon tea and happy hour which was great for when you come back tired from all the site seeing activities. The staff were very polite and friendly and always accomodating of our needs. We also loved the breakfast which has lovely seasonal fruit and a great choice of eggs and pastries. The rooms were clean and comfortable with lovely bathrooms and very spacious for an inner city hotel. I think I found my favourite hotel in Rome - will definitely come again!

The bed was nice but needs a bit of an updated mattress.

We booked the Fifteen Keys Hotel based on the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. The hotel exceeded our expectations from the very start and there was absolutely nothing that we did not enjoy about our stay. As mentioned in other reviews, all the hotel staff are friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel and bedrooms are spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. The location was perfect for us, only an 8 minute walk from the train station and close to many restaurants, bars, shops and very central for visiting the sights. We would definitely recommend to family and friends and wouldn’t stay anywhere else when we do come back to Rome at some point in the future

Lovely, helpful and very professional staff with very good knowledge of the English language. Fantastic (hot and cold) breakfast including home-made rolls and cakes. We loved the cute, well maintained court yard with beautiful flowers and 4-5 small tables for breakfast and drinks. Perfect location.

The max. water temperature (shower) in our room could have been a bit higher. This can probably be easily adjusted and solved by maintenance. We did not raise this issue, as this was not a big deal for us.

What a beautiful little gem. The other positive reviews are spot on - this adorable hotel is a dream. The staff emailed me when I made the reservation and followed up several times to offer help scheduling activities and transportation, as well as to inquire about my needs during our stay. The room was beautiful and the view of the courtyard allowed me to pretend for a moment that I lived in Rome. The breakfast is gorgeous and the cappuccino will be hard to beat. What a wonderful experience! We will stay here again!

I liked every single detail about the hotel, it’s truly feels like home and I felt extra care in everything. Location is great, facilities, they even had a hair straightener for ladies which is very thoughtful. Good breakfast with daily compliments from the lady chef itself. I didn’t want to leave , if next time in Rome I would go back to the same place again. Thank you for making it memorable

The attention to detail from all of the staff at The Fifteen Keys is exceptional, you can tell they really care about the hotel and your experience whilst staying there. The breakfast was to die for and we looked forward to it daily! The afternoon tea between 5-6pm is also a lovely touch, and during it we met other guests too. Overall, beautiful stay, good location, safe environment and high quality rooms, bar area, reception. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, I would highly recommend this hotel.

All staff we interacted with were excellent. Friendly, gracious and efficient. In particular the chef who bakes all the breakfast goodies, including in house make granola was super friendly, efficient and very gifted. She is as I called her the Maddona di cuccina. Afternoon tea, which is free, is also a nice break to the day.

Minor details. Water and tea replacement in the room was forgotten on one day out of 5. So small a detail not really worth mentioning but had to think of something. Also, room we had, #4 was quite warm, and according to Italian law, no AC is allowed until later in the year. Now most Italians were bundled up, but as Canadians 18 celsius coming from -8 was quite warm. Window does open, but you can't sleep in Rome with an open window.

Everything was great, but the real highlight was the staff - super friendly, welcoming and helpful. We also found the location to be perfect. Monti has a great feel and whilst you are close enough to stroll to all the main sites, you also feel removed from the swarms of tourists and ‘tourist traps’! The breakfasts were brilliant and well worth it (particular shout-out to the homemade granola and cakes)!

The staff were incredibly helpful. I had an issue with noise within the hotel in the room I had as I was next to the stairs and lift and above reception and they were able to accommodate a change of room for my last night which was above and beyond. The breakfasts and other refreshments were exceptional and the location was perfect, and I felt very safe as a lone traveller.

Just the noise but this wasn’t really something they could avoid but they took it seriously anyway as I hadn’t been able to sleep.

The location, the staff and the hotel design were all great. The staff is very accommodating and customer service focused. We love the breakfast and tea time. We arrived very early and they had our room ready which was huge!

There was an issue with mold in the bathroom shower. It made the room smell and my wife is allergic to it which caused her to have some issue breathing (she has asthma). But once we told them about it the staff sent someone immediately to clean it and they sent a bottle of Prosecco and a note to apologize for the issue.
