I stayed at the hotel for two nights in an upgraded room. I wanted a room with a bath, so I asked about it when booking and got such a room without any problems. Everything is quite clean, tidy. Discreet interior. I liked that there are several windows in the room, both in the bedroom and in the bathroom. Also perfectly working air conditioner, which is very important. Great view from the terrace and wonderful breakfasts. In two days, I didn't even try everything from what was offered for breakfast. A very large selection. Excellent location, which allows you to see all the sights within a 10-15 minute walk, as well as close to the Termini train station and the metro

Room is nice, specious and clean, also the bathroom. Hotel is renovated and the whole interior is really beautiful. Hotel staff is kind and helpful. Location is great, near all the famous attractions, around 15 minutes walk. When you check out there is a possibility to leave the luggage to keep them for free.

What is missing is some space in bathroom to put the cosmetics. Also there wasn’t a trash can in the bathroom, only in the room. To have a hot water in the shower you need to let the water flow at least 2-3 minutes. Breakfast is kosher food (without meat at all), that we didn’t know because it does not show anywhere in the description. However it was tasteful.

Everything was superb! Loved the room decor, is beautifully done! Also the rooms are brand new. The breakfast area, and lobby also have a beautiful decor. The location is perfect! Monti is an amazing location, lots of restaurants nearby. The Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and other ruins, Victor Emmanuel II National Monument are less than a 10 min walk from the Hotel. The Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona are all also within a 20 - 30 min walk. Breakfast was excellent, a huge spread and the staff were super helpful and warm. They provided us with freshly squeezed orange juice on our request everyday. The rest of the staff as well were extremely warm and helpful and they helped us with all our requirements. Overall we had a fantastic stay, we couldn't have asked for anything more and would definitely stay again at this property!

The room we picked was on the smaller side, but that was due to our budget constraints and not booking the room fast enough. All other rooms were already sold out by the time we booked. So no complaints!

The hotel is in a great location in Monti. Staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was great. Even with no meat options, there was a wide variety of food! The room was not large but big enough, as we did not spend much time in it, only for sleeping.

Everything was great with the exception of our final day, in which we had grabbed a takeaway sandwich to enjoy very quickly when we picked up our bags from the hotel. We were told we could not eat outside food in the hotel, even though it would have taken us minutes to eat. So we had to wait until we arrived at the train station and by that time our food was cold. A very minor nuisance but I don’t understand why it’s a big deal to let your paying guests enjoy a meal in your dining area, especially when there is no kitchen/restaurant.

The decor was serene and beautiful. The hotel and our room felt luxurious. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated a very cool room in very hot temps. Enjoyed breakfast daily on the terrace. The staff was very kind and helpful.

More of a recommendation than a “dislike”…It would’ve been nice to have been offered some sort of happy hour in the bar area (maybe with discounted rates at that time?!). We didn’t see the bar used much and it is such a nice space. It might have been fun to have met other travelers (for those who like socializing) for a short period of time.

The location has to be at the top of a long list of 'loves' about this property. It's just 10 minute walk from the Colosseum and so many other attractions around Rome. No need for taxi's (unless you fancy a trip to Vatican City), so much is in walking distance. My room wasn't huge, but so well appointed, everything I wanted. And, I had a private terrace too which was a real bonus. The bathroom is spotless and the shower had brilliant water pressure. It's a small hotel and you're recognised by the staff who will take great care of you. Nothing is too much trouble. The prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch!

Coming home. Seriously, when I return to Rome this will be the hotel I choose. You should know that the hotel serves breakfast, but not main meals - that's really not a problem, there are so many wonderful restaurants just a few minutes walk away.

We were a family of three and stayed in the Hotel Viminale in June 2024 for four days. We very much enjoyed our stay here. We were welcomed in our room with a beautiful fruits’ arrangement. Our suite consisted of a sleeping room, a living room with a sofa where our son could sleep, and a bathroom. Our room and the hotel was very clean. Also, a small balcony could be used to look into the Via Cesare Balbo, a very quiet street with rare traffic. The breakfast was great, many good things to start the day. The personnel of the hotel were always very friendly and supportive. The location of the hotel was also very good, around 10-15 minutes’ walk to the railway station and to the Colosseum, and so on. We could reach almost all sightseeing locations in Rome by foot. The hotel also has a terrasse which can be used by everyone to relax.

A fully renovated hotel close to roma termini and 15-20 minutes walk to all the main attractions rome has to offer. Close to bus and metro stations if you want to visit other sites. The hotel looks and feels brand new from the inside with decently appointed rooms and comfortable beds and clean bathrooms with a rain shower. I will highly rate the staff as they were extremely helpful, will always greet you with a smile and will go an extra mile to help you with any request. Good breakfast with good variety at a decent price

My only comment would be the exhaust in the bathroom which was not very powerful.

The newly renovated hotel exceeded our expectations in all areas, even though some facilities like the terrace and fitness room were not yet open for guests. Great location on a quiet road with easy access by foot to the Colosseum area or center (20-30 min walk). Meticulously renovated common areas & rooms, our junior suite was just perfect in terms of size for a family of 3 with all necessary amenities and very comfortable beds! Breakfast was excellent and available until 11am, which was much appreciated as nobody in our family is an early riser! Last but not least, all personnel was very polite & helpful providing a 5-star service. All in all, great value for money - we will definitely come back!

Not much to say here, as we liked everything about this hotel!

During our recent stay at the Viminale Hotel in Rome, we were blown away by the beauty of the newly renovated hotel. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by stunning interior design that set the tone for a luxurious stay. Our bedroom was a great size and offered lovely city views. The bathroom was finished to a very high standard, with modern fixtures and a sleek, contemporary design that made us feel right at home. It also had a gym, which my partner was very happy about. The breakfast spread was not only delicious, but also had healthy options and set us up for the whole day of exploring the city. The service at the hotel was exceptional, with a special shoutout to the wonderful Leala. Leala took great care of us during our entire stay, was very welcoming from the very beginning and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our experience unforgettable.
