They prepared us a very cute welcoming fruit platter and a glass of champagne. It’s obviously new, very pretty, clean. Staff was very helpful and kind. We had a very nice stay overall. Location was good.

The only thing that we didn’t like was tha fact that breakfast didn’t provide any kind of meat. Not even a ham, prosciutto… A little underwhelming, they said no red meat, but i expected at least chicken ham. Another thing i didn’t like were the duvet covers, it seemed like it was two sheets put together in between with a blanket, and the sheets kept opening.

From the arrival, which was complemented by a glass a Prosecco each, all the way through to the very end of our stay, the entire team at Hotel Viminale in Roma delivered the most remarkable, thoughtful and personalised service that my wife & I have seen in a very long time in Europe. Being a French & Italian couple, living in India and working in luxury hospitality in Maldives, our stay was truly top notch. Every single team member we met was always smiling, helpful, and an absolute delight to interact with. From Leila & Alessandro at reception (as well as all their colleague which I apologise I don’t remember the names) as well as Danielle at the bar, everyone was fantastic. Room amenities are great, breakfast is superb, the building itself is very well renovated/maintained, there’s a gym, and it’s as central as you could ask for in Roma. We need to return to Roma in early January and still have not booked our hotel stay - we will look no further than Hotel Viminale, and this will also be our 1st choice for all our visits to Roma, thanks to the remarkable service we’ve felt. I left a very valuable necklace in the bathroom before checking out, and when I returned to collect the luggage from reception later on, this was returned to me before I had even realised I had lost it… cherry on top!

It's a very nice boutique style hotel that's been renovated. Quiet, safe street. Beautiful view from the roof top patio.

The meat free breakfast. I forgot to pay attention this detail and arriving in Italy and not having their famous delicious prociutto and ham selections was sad.

I would like to share a review about this wonderful hotel. I was happy that I chose it. We arrived a little earlier than the scheduled time. Instead of the standard check-in, a charming girl, Rita, invited us to a cozy corner by the bar, treated us to delicious Prosecco with cookies, and casually told us about the hotel’s services, as well as providing useful information for tourists. After that, she gave us a tour of the hotel. The hotel has 5 floors. A full renovation was done at the beginning of 2024 (I might be wrong). Although the hotel is small, it has an elevator. It is located on a quiet street and is about a 15-20 minute walk from all the main attractions, except the Vatican. We were possibly lucky, as we were given a room on the 4th floor with a beautiful view of one of the churches. The room was small but in excellent condition. Cleaning was done daily, even though we never left the appropriate sign. The maids always cleaned while we were out and did so thoroughly. Next to our room, there was access to a terrace with a great view. There is also a terrace on the 1st floor. What impressed us the most was breakfast. There were no meat dishes, but there were always eggs, cheeses, fish, dairy products, plenty of greens, and various sweets, even though we came near the end of breakfast — around 10:00. The late breakfast was hearty and kept us going almost until evening. We had no issues with the reception, water, cleaning, or breakfasts. The entire staff is always friendly and smiling, even at night. This review may seem sponsored, but believe it's not. Perhaps my expectations were low, as the price for a standard double room was lower than many other options with higher hotel ratings. I hope the level of service doesn’t drop, and if I return to Rome, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Hotel Viminale, thank you for a wonderful stay!

The hospitality was exceptional. I felt right at home as soon as I checked in.The team are kind and generous hosts. The entire hotel is adorned with a stunning collection.The rooms are really spacious, with a very clean bathroom. delicious breakfast, Very helpful and professional staff, and I would like to thank Leila, Chiara and Rita for the great support, great attitude , positive energy and always smiling and helpful honestly They advised me a lot with the appropriate directions to make my stay fantastic.Additionally, the restaurant's personnel is excellent last but not least So again, it is not about the place, only people are the key to any success, so please keep up the good work and help your team in the hotel happy and hopeful so you have a successful business since you will never have honest and dedicated staff like that daily. The hotel was superb. It’s newly refurbished which was done to a very high standard. The location is excellent, near the station but not far from many of Rome’s attractions. Whilst the roof terrace wasn’t quite finished, the view was beautiful. The hotel offered free guided walking tours in the evening which is such a lovely idea. You get a glass of Prosecco on arrival and also a voucher for a discounted drink. The best thing about the hotel though was the staff. Genuinely the best service I think I’ve had at a hotel. They are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. You get escorted to your room and they explain about the hotel. I was leaving before breakfast and they prepared a takeaway breakfast (never had that before) and coffee. The taxi that they ordered didn’t give me a receipt so the hotel contacted them for me and emailed it across which was so helpful. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to Rome. Absolutely recommend it. Best hotel I’ve stayed in for a long time and I travel a lot for work.

Our first time in Rome, staying here was incredible. We were greeted with big smiles and friendly faces! Luckily we were treated to a free room upgrade, and ended up in a deluxe room at the top of the hotel. We were given a couple glasses of prosecco and a wonderful tour of the hotel and our room. The staff were amazing and always on hand to help if we needed anything. The location of the hotel is perfect, everything is within walking distance and the restaurants local to the hotel are fantastic. Couldn't have asked for a better time in Rome & a better hotel to come back to after a long day of walking! The hotel has been refurbished in recent years so everything is new, clean & well presented. If we are ever back in Rome, we'll be staying here!

I stayed at the hotel for two nights in an upgraded room. I wanted a room with a bath, so I asked about it when booking and got such a room without any problems. Everything is quite clean, tidy. Discreet interior. I liked that there are several windows in the room, both in the bedroom and in the bathroom. Also perfectly working air conditioner, which is very important. Great view from the terrace and wonderful breakfasts. In two days, I didn't even try everything from what was offered for breakfast. A very large selection. Excellent location, which allows you to see all the sights within a 10-15 minute walk, as well as close to the Termini train station and the metro

The hotel is located in close proximity to the Colosseum and reasonable walking distance to most other attractions (but I enjoy walking when exploring a new city, others might find it a bit too far). Very quiet street, almost no noise to speak of. Perfect for my short stay! Large comfy bed, nice bathroom, large and very clean room. Very friendly and helpful staff.

If I were to find some improvements, they would be: 1) quality of breakfast - scrambled eggs looked uninviting and tasted a bit rubbery. It was also a meat free breakfast which I didn't anticipate (although this could have been my own fault for not reading the information properly in advance); 2) bathroom was lacking hair conditioner - an essential for me that I hope to avoid taking with me in my carry on luggage when I go away for a short trip. I know it's only a small thing and won't matter to a lot of people.

The staff were amazing. From the moment we arrived, they were extremely friendly and accommodating. They went over and above to provide excellent service and make our stay extra special for my husbands 40th birthday. A special mention to Alesso at breakfast who did an amazing job and also the ladies on reception (who's name I didn't catch) who helped with dinner reservations. The location was really central. Not too close to anything so there was no hustle and bustle, but close enough to easily walk everywhere. We were worried about noise as the rooms weren't soundproofed, but there was zero road noise and we only heard a neighboring rooms tap on one occasion, so couldn't fault it. The terraces were a lovely space, we just sadly were out exploring too much so it was always dark when we returned, otherwise we'd have absolutely sat out there and enjoyed an aperitif!

We would absolutely stay here again, so to say we didn't like something would be a bit extreme. The only thing we struggled with was the heating controls for the shower, they were extremely sensitive and often the shower would scold just by turning the handheld unit in a certain direction, but once we knew this, we just handled with care.
