We wouldn't be honest if we didn't give you a rating of less than 10. It's definitely a rustic style and nicely arranged accommodation. The employees were always smiling and at your service. Breakfast was excellent, real Italian. Hygiene was at a high level. Most attractions in the city were within walking distance from the hotel, about 10-15 minutes. Thank you Aenea for making our stay in Rome even more beautiful.

The staff was friendly from the moment we walked in the door and recommended restaurants and helped us get our bearings in the Eternal City. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the breakfast was also delicious. More than anything, though, I'd have to say that the staff was especially outstanding and were extremely helpful and generous with their time throughout our stay, even going out and purchasing gluten-free options for my husband!

I can't think of anything, honestly. I think that the place has exceptional quality for the price of the rooms and I highly recommend it!

The apartment was very nice. There was comfortable sleeping for 5 with privacy for 2. There was only one washroom which made things difficult and required several adjustments to be made.

The place is not that close to the train station nor to public transport as they make it out to be. At least not to Republica or Termini, which are the better stations to go to. Staff were good, especially housekeeping and Martyna in particular. The guy during the week needs an education on the services industry and he is having a job because of tourists. The small store Pam across the street is very well.stocked and lots of restaurants on the same street is wonderful.

The hotel was fantastic. Easy to get to from the train station. All the main attractions were in reasonable walking distance (10-30 mins). Every morning there was a delivery of fresh baked goods for breakfast which was super yummy! The beds were comfy and rooms were clean and welcoming. The staff were approachable and friendly. It was our 10 year anniversary and they kindly left a bottle of red in our room, it was a lovely touch. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Nothing to do with the hotel itself but our window overlooked a courtyard and residents often took out their bins very late at night which was noisy.

The property is in a old Roman building so has beautiful high ceilings & a lot of character. The room was a great size for the 4 of us, beds were comfortable & there was a nice shower with lots of hot water (needed after walking miles round the city!) The breakfast was nice, it was brought to the room everyday so we could eat whilst getting ready for the day. Added bonus were the drinks & snacks in the fridge left on the 1st day. Staff were super helpful, it was our first visit & they took the time to make sure we knew where to go & what to see We were able to leave our luggage there on the last day, which meant we got the most out of the day before getting on our next train. Access back was via a spare key which I thought was a really good idea plus there was a toilet so once we collected our bags we could use the clean facilities Overall we had a great visit & loved our stay here. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nothing other than some of the attractions are a distance away but the area around the property has plenty of shops/restaurants so you don’t have to venture out of the area 😀

This hotel is in a fantastic location for exploring Rome and is within easy walking distance of the Termini train station. We used the public transport a lot and there are loads of different bus stops very near the accommodation. The suite was perfect for us and our two children and we particularly loved the terrace. It is not a typical hotel so you need to look carefully for the entrance (a big, green door) but the staff were extremely helpful and allowed us to store our luggage after check out which was really appreciated.

The breakfast arrives in the basket outside your door in the morning which is nice but there could have been more variety as it was primarily just croissants and bread rolls.

The position of this property is perfect you can travel anywhere in room quite easily on foot your room was serviced beautifully every day with fresh supplies of juice water biscuits tea coffee yoghurt yoghurt etc. Croissants and fresh rolls delivered every morning. Cleanliness was spot On and the staff were more than helpful ,all the ladies there thank you very much to making our stay fantastic.

The only thing we didn't like was someone would crash the large iron gates down in the foyer occasionally but that not to fault of the accommodation as this is a large building many other people reside here.

Don’t be put off by the low-key facade……the location and service at the Aenea were fantastic - even catered for one of our party being gluten free and left a list of gluten free restaurants we could try in Rome. We tried out two that were recommended and both were fantastic, we even visited one for a second time. The staff were really helpful and made our trip much more enjoyable by giving us a map and explaining how best to get around so we made the most of our short stay in Rome. This place is super kid friendly - my two (11,12) had a fantastic time! Can’t recommend enough. It is ideally located between the blue and red metro lines making getting around easy - although all main sights are walkable with the Vatican being furthest away at about 40mins.

As a suggestion, additional plug sockets and a wider range of toiletries would have been ideal but didn’t detract from our stay. There is a well stocked mini market right across the street for any additional things you need.

Great location, love walking around the less touristy area but convenient to train station, metro, and walking to main attractions. Bed was comfortable and the coffee and breakfast were perfect to start off our day on the right foot!.

The air conditioner stopped working for us and we woke up at 2:30am sweating and had a hard time going back to sleep until it finally kicked back in. Also we could hear the keys from other patrons entering their rooms although we were already awake.

The location of the accommodation is fabulous, its on a road full of eateries and an excellent gelatarie nearby, and just a 10 minute walk to most places, being in the old town. There was also a supermarket with a great selection of wines, just across the road for any bits you may need. We all shared a room at this accommodation ( 2 Adults and 2 teens). I had thought it was two rooms but this wasn't a problem as were just putting head down for the night between 2 days of sightseeing. There was everything we needed from little snacks and drinks/ water/ juices to choose from, as well as good coffee. It was so hot in July, this was very welcomed after long journey! They delivered bread and pastries to our door in the morning was a lovely touch, so we enjoyed our breakfast together out on the terrace. We liked that we could keep our cases and bags at the accommodation reception until later in day and changing facilities. They also provided us with some wine glasses when we asked, so we could enjoy a drink on the terrace in the evening.
