everything was brand new, great location, great food around the area, staff were very helpful and friendly, bed was comfortable, room was spacious, bathrooms was really nice. we also got a free upgrade.

Some facilities weren’t ready. No breakfast or food available(however they did offer some free minibar treats) internet was non existent which meant we couldn’t connect our phones and the T.V’s smart feature would not work.

The room was extremely spacious for a family of 4, the shower would be my only complaint about the room. It was quite small and very slippery. Added bonus- an amazing roof top. The food and drinks were amazing! We ended every night up there.

The elevator was broken, and having to go up 3 stories with kids and a stroller was terrible. My son even fell down the stairs when we were leaving.

The Major Hotel is MUST stay if you’re visiting Rome! Everything about this hotel was impeccable. The staff were more than accommodating from helping us book transportation, offering recommendations and even securing us a reservation at a popular local restaurant. *Special shout out to Alessandro, Antonio, Carlo and the front desk staff! Each of you left a lasting impression and helped to make our trip that much more special. Not to mention the special note and bottle of champagne that was brought to our room to celebrate our honeymoon. The hotel was beautiful, clean, the rooms comfortable with the decor and details carried all throughout. Oh and the rooftop restaurant and bar is the place to be with an incredible view of the city (especially at night). I can not say enough good things about this hotel and the people who work there! Book with them, visit the restaurant/ bar and have the trip of a lifetime.

I loved the exterior and interior

the orange light in the room that kept blinking and sometimes it smelled like the sewer after you took a shower.

Stunningly decorated, moody tones and very lux. Deluxe suite was large and spacious, the bed extremity comfortable and the bathroom was top notch. Rooftop bar is equally as well decorated and furnished. The drinks and food exceptional, and like the hotel the staff are friendly and attentive. Special shout out to Leonardo at the hotel who went above and beyond. You see as I was about to go through customs I realised I had left my work laptop in our room after checking out. Leo found it and arranged a courier to get it to us at the airport before our flight departed. Crisis averted! Can’t wait to stay at this hotel on all of my visits to Rome.

The staff at the reception were helpful and kind. The location is amazing close to many attractions. The room was comfy and had all necessities. Breakfast was very good and staff were so kind and offered help all the time. although I'd have preferred if there was a live station for omelette but I noticed that it's not a thing in Europe. Also as a Muslim, I wish hotels in Europe would install "shattaf" in their bathrooms as that would be a great plus for all Muslim travellers. Also offering halal food would be a huge advantage. These are some suggestions obviously.

This hotel had amazing location and accommodations, but best of all was the staff. They greeted us every day (in Spanish, our native language!), helped us make reservations for tourist attractions as needed, and booked us taxis on more than one occasion. We dined on the rooftop for breakfast and dinner, both of which were delicious (and with amazing views). The rooms were beautiful, cozy and luxurious, and immaculately cleaned daily. The lobby also had an exception scent we've been thinking about since we left! We only wish our stay coincided with the completion of the rooftop pool, which I'm sure will be splendid. Overall, the hotel ended up being the absolutely highlight of our trip!

Probably the only thing we didn't like is that during the day there were a lot of bees on the rooftop bar, which prevented us from wanting to go back during daytime. But even still, the one day we ate breakfast there, the staff immediately offered to pack our breakfast and deliver to our room due to the bees, and we really appreciated the hospitality on their part. Otherwise, absolutely no complaints. The hotel by far exceeded our expectations in every way.

The roof top bar has beautiful views of the city and was so enjoyable during the am and at night It will be great when the hotel has the roof top pool completed highly recommend it ! But the best part about the roof top restaurant is the staff!! Thanks so much for making our experience at your restaurant/ bar so enjoyable!

We stayed at The Major for the last day of our southern Italy trip prior to flying home from Rome. The room was great—plenty of space, large bathroom. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was served at the rooftop restaurant which was a lovely picturesque al fresco experience. Very convenient (10 minute walk) from Roma Termini, which was great for us since we arrived by train from Napoli and left via the Leonardo Express to FCO. Very comfortable hotel in the rail station area—which typically can be a little "hit or miss".

Restaurant staff was a little disorganized, but friendly and helpful. No major complaints.
