The room was clean, comfortable and warm. Very nice property, TV had Netflix so it was great. Shower was okay, not great water pressure but hot. Only had the breakfast one of the mornings that we stayed. Ideally located for all major tourist locations, all within walking distance except Vatican City. Probably could do with a bit more tourist information in the bedrooms ie maps, flyers etc but that's only a minor thing. Really enjoyed the stay and if I ever went back to Rome I would definitely stay here again. Will return to Italy but it such an amazing place with many places to see so might not be Rome.

View from window was of courtyard full of waste bins that were used from 6am,so didn't have to set alarm any of the days.

I recently had a delightful 2-day stay at Rome Royal Residence and it exceeded my expectations in many ways. In particular, Mavrizio stood out as a wonderful guy, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. The accommodation offers great value for the price, making it a budget-friendly yet luxurious choice. I highly recommend Rome Royal Residence to anyone visiting Rome and seeking a memorable stay. Everything was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially Rona! She was attentive and incredibly helpful. The place was clean, safe, and in a great location - gated with a courtyard inside, and only a little ways from the Colosseum. We had a very filling breakfast - including sweet breads, toast, yogurt, eggs, meat, cheese, fresh fruit, milk, juice, and cappuccino. They stored our luggage for us after we checked out. We ate dinner at a restaurant at the next street over (pizza and wine), and it was delicious and priced well. I will absolutely stay here again in the future. What a lovely find! Thanks again Rona for a wonderful experience!

The hotel was a short walk from the train station. The staff member was very welcoming and helpful. We arrived early (before midday) to see if we could leave our bags, to be told the room was ready - which was amazing! The room was perfect for what we needed. Aircon (during the heatwave) fridge, kettle. Great shower! Breakfast was basic but good enough! Thank you so much

The hotel was not that easy to find from the street. Thankfully someone saw us looking a bit confused and pointed us in the right direction.

Perfect location, staff were excellent and room spotlessly clean and comfortable, we didn't really eat breakfast as we were up and out early, my only criticism was the aircon, it struggled to get below 24 in the room and I would say this needs upgrading ( only applies if you are there in really hot weather) we would definitely use this place again, there is a fantastic restaurant right next door ( turn right as you go out of the gates) everything pretty much in walking distance. A great spot for visiting Rome

We stayed at 4 different hotels/b&b's while touring Italy, and this place was our absolute favorite! The bed was a dream come true and was amazing to come back to after a long day of sight seeing. They had given us a free bottle of wine, some snacks and really sweet sign congratulating us on our honeymoon, it was so sweet and great start to our stay. Breakfast was legit. A lot of variety and everything was delicious! The staff were very sweet and helpful. Our flight was at 7:30am out of FCO and I asked if they could arrange for a driver to pick us up at 5:00am. The driver was there early waiting for us and was the smooth start we needed to begin our long journey home. So very happy we stayed here, thank you!!

The room was very comfortable with a great location 10 mins from the coloseum. The room was clean and the room was very romantic and beautiful. Rona our contact person from the hotel was very nice to us and cared for us at every hour of our stay even when our flight landed late in the morning.

The breakfast was ok but not a lot to choose from In the second day of our stay we tried filling the jacuzzi but when we started it all the water started leaking from the jacuzzi and our room was filled with water. Luckily Rona came to help us very quickly and the room was dried. It was a bit sad because we wasted a night on it . They tried to give us another room but it was smaller so we stayed in our room and got some snacks and drinks to cover for the inconvenience

Breakfast was good. Typical of a European Bed and Breakfast. Staff did a fabulous job keeping up with the food line. Staff was very helpful on check-in, I had asked months in advance for a couple extra pillows and they were brought to my room immediately after check-in. They allowed us to check in early even though they didn't have to. And there was no extra charge. They helped arrange airport transportation after our trip in a beautiful/large vehicle which we were paid the taxi rate for.

We liked everything. They check-in area could have been a little difficult to find, but we received emails the day before and the day of our arrival to make that easy. The room we choose to pay for was an economy room... so it was a bit small... but, had we paid a little more the rooms were larger. Didn't matter to us, we only slept and showered in the room. Probably the only VERY minor improvement for us would have been a satellite TV service that had a few English-speaking stations...however, we were in their country... and we had our tablets... so we overcame that.

the staff was really nice. the location was perfect. not too far of a walk to Trevi fountain. really enjoyed the restaurant next door to the hotel. the staff knew there were 3 of us staying and had the pull out couch made up for us with pillows and blankets which was nice. the pull out couch was also pretty comfortable! breakfast was ok but the staff was so nice!

can hear everything outside - but I think most places in Rome are like that from the reviews I’ve read. I would still stay here again. the laundry area had a funky smell but we only stayed for one night so that wasn’t a problem for us.

The staff was amazing!!! Very very very friendly! The location was perfect too! In my whole Italian trip this hotel had the best breakfast! Enormously wide variety of yummy things to choose from: different juices, coffees, tea, milk, yoghurts, cereal, even soy milk! croissants, doughnuts, cupcakes, cookies, salmon, cheese, ham, butter, mozzarella, eggs, cakes, fruit and I could write and write, amazing! Super friendly staff! Love that place!

The bathroom was clean but the shower a bit outdated. Also the bathroom was really small. The table in the room looks smart because it's made by a special mechanism that you construct it from the wall and it has 2 legs so there is a possibility to ruin this construction by accident (like I did and then my things fell down on the floor).
