The hotel is located at a very good location. You can go walking to different main monuments of the city and also is close to rome termini. Staff was kind. They gave us a room in the next door to the hotel, which was weird, but since i read it in other reviews, it wasn't unexpected. They save our luggage before check in and after check out Our stay in general was good!

The air conditioner wasn't working properly, the room barely got cold, although the place was fresh. The elevetor on the building next door (where we stayed) was pretty old, and we got stuck there once... little bit scary

The hotel is in the middle of everything. The room is huge. We're 3 guests in 1 room and we can open all our luggage at the same time. The bathroom has a huge space too and there's small room for your clothes. The choices of their breakfast buffet was also great too. You can leave your luggage in case you have a late flight and they can also arrange you an airport transfer.

There's a leak from our shower that seeps to the sink. We did not report this though since it was just a minor thing for us. ATTN TOURISTS!!! Beware of your bus rides in Italy. You have to validate your ticket the time you get on the bus at any cost! We got ticketed for not validating our ticket for 54 euros each! We could not validate our ticket the time we got in because the bus was full of people and there's only 1 machine where you could validate your ticket. Inspectors target tourists and will never hear your excuse. They could at least give at least a warning to tourists and hear them out.

I stayed in this hotel 10 years ago and could see great improvement in this second visit. Hotel underwent a lot of renovation and room was much more comfortable and new. Great renovated bathroom. Hotel has great location making it easy to walk to major sightseeing attractions bit also very close to metro station and short walk from Termini train station. I highly recommend this hotel and enjoyed my stay a lot.

Air-conditioner started to make terrible noise the last night making it impossible to sleep- but to be fair, it was extremely hot in Rome in August with +40C every day so that air conditioner overworked massively. Staff could be a bit more friendly and helpful. When paid city taxes I was given back incorrect amount if change and just walked away without arguing -was probably genuine mistake.

This was a beautiful property in the centre of Rome. All attractions were within walking distance and the area felt very safe at night with many restaurants to choose from to sit outside with a glass of vino. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with AC, the shower had great water pressure. The beds were decent with spare blankets and pillows available if needed, and the staff were on the desk 24 hours and very friendly. I cannot comment on breakfast as I did not utilise the service. Overall,I would definitely stay here again if/when I return to Rome which I certainly hope to do so - what an amazing city with even more amazing food, history and people!

The room keys are physical keys and a bit heavy with one per room. I just remained extra vigilant with my bag and belongings and had no issue.

Very clean room. The personnel was really helpful and kind. They gave us an upgrade and they made our stay very relaxed and smooth. The location very good, close to all Rome main attractions. The breakfast was good.

modern, well kept, well maintained. Room was nice size, good bed, pillows and sheets. Air condirioning: really quiet👌 Excellent. Good bathroom

Before we got there I communicated with the hotel staff and always got a response. We asked for a quiet room and got it and we also inquired about which bus to take to get to the hotel which was very important because of our heavy cases. The hotel is located very central in Rome, it was so easy to get to all the "sightseeingmusts" even by foot. In the same street are two charming restaurants with tables inside and out. We arrived early and were happy that we could leave our cases there to go and explore the city straight away, not only in the reception, as we were assured, but our room was ready, we could go straight to our room, freshen up, sort our rucksacks and off we went. Breakfast was very good, help yourself menue. Limitless scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, cakes, juice, aso. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

I think the coffee machine might need recalibrating, the settings might be mixed up. Difficult to choose and end up with the desired coffee. Luxury problem I know, sorry. The chattering classes make a lot of noise in the corridors, meet and greet at all hours, slamming doors, come on folks, thats antisocial. When in Rome...... Maybe they need a reminder in form of a note on the door to keep the noise down.

Clean and tidy, fresh linen every day, staff not overbearing but are friendly and helpful, location is great so was easy to get to main attractions

The breakfast wasn’t particularly great for 18 Euros, Wi-Fi was fairly spotty as well, they can order you a taxi back to airport at a cost of 55 euros but we walked down the road to the taxi rank and got one for 31 euros

We had a booking with a hostel that doesn't have a late check-in and had to book Hotel Virgilio for just 1 night because they have a 24-hour check in and the price is affordable. I didn't even bother looking at the app what the room looks like and I was really shocked when we came in the hotel at 3AM. The room was massive, and the bathroom was really nice and super clean! Plus this place is located just 10-15mins away from some of the attractions in Romes. I would definitely book this hotel again when I come back to visit Rome.

Location, there is a cafe next to the hotel, you can have a wonderful croissant and cappuccino. You can access many famous places from the hotel by walking. The staff at the hotel, he told us all of the remarkable sites in the city on the map. He is amazing.

Laundry cannot be dried in the room. There is not a dry cleaning service at this hotel. So we hand washed underwear because the cleaning service outside was too expensive. We hung them up in the bathroom, but it never got dried.
