Nice and welcoming staff, location is great, breakfast is available 24/7, Apin is super friendly and was trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Even though it is located in an old building it has an elevator and is was much easier to get our bags to the 4th floor

The main problem were bed frame and mattress. The frame was extremely noisy every time we turned around on it or getting up or laying down. The mattress was too old and bent, we had to find a place on it that didn't feel like a hole. My back was hurting all the time after sleeping on it Another thing that was disturbing is shower pressure. it's okay if you don't have long hair like me, but otherwise you'll have to spend more time to wash it thoroughly

Can totally see why this place has such amazing reviews. Amazing value and so glad we found this place. We were welcomed by the super friendly and helpful Apin and were excited to see our lovely room. It looks exactly like the pics. The kitchen/dining area had lovely coffee, juices, toast, pastries, cakes and biscuits that you could access at any time of the day. There was also fruit and yoghurt and Apin told us to make ourselves at home! It really felt like that. Also loved the small detail such as USB chargers next to both sides of the bed and light switches next to the bed that control all the rooms. Also loved having YouTube and Netflix on the Telly. 15 min walk to Colosseum & 10 mins to Trevi. We were even able to walk to Vatican City, Pantheon and Spanish Steps. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

The location is fantastic, pretty much walkable to every touristy destination. We even walked to the Vatican, which is about 45 mins walk, but was still enjoyable and very much do-able. Alpin is the most amazing host, she made us feel so welcome, she kindly arranged for an early check in free of charge, because we had a very early flight and she had the availability. She leant us umbrellas when the weather was bad and gave us lots of suggestions and local info about things to do. The room was really clean and the bed and pillows comfy, there was also a safe to use fee of charge for your valuables and netflix available on the TV! The breakfast was a very casual help yourself affair, with lots of nice offerings, which made us feel very at home. If you're looking for frills and luxury, this isn't it. But if you're looking for a comfortable, affordable stay in the heart of Rome with a great host, then look no further!

The shower pressure wasn't great.

When I first checked in, I was told to make myself at home. I soon came to realize the sincerity of those words. The hotel is quiet, and the rooms were very comfortable, probably the best night(s) sleep I had over an 8-week journey around Europe. The location was great, I seemed to be short walk to restaurants, attractions, and the train station. The host, Apin, was absolutely wonderful, she provided so many travel tips and ideas. I would 100% stay here again and recommend this hotel.

I have nothing negative to say.

Everything! Apin is a wonderful host and an all around great human being. She made sure that we had everything to make our stay enjoyable. She even went out and got ice cream for the kids staying at the property. I can’t say enough good things about Apin. Additionally, this location is close to everything. 7 minutes to Trevi, 10 minutes to the colosseum…and so much more.

The elevator is tiny, but that was a very small inconvenience and didn’t affect our overall experience.

I love this place. I’ll definitely stay here again. It’s the best place I’ve ever stayed in Europe. The owner is super friendly and helpful. She made us tea and coffee, fed us all kinds of food/snacks/fruits, offered us umbrellas when it was raining and helped us plan our trips too. Seriously whatever you need she got your back. When she tells you to make yourself at home she MEANS it. She stuffs the fridge with fresh fruits, yogurt, milk, juice, cheese, bread, cookies and snacks. The breakfast is fantastic too. There is a free coffee machine and all kinds of food. Also, the location is great too! Almost every tourist places is in walking distance.

We loved the location of the property. We found our room to be very clean and comfortable. Very spacious too. Our host, Apin, was so friendly, helpful, welcoming and went over and above for us - even giving my husband fresh mint from the balcony for his tea! Food and drink was available to eat all day long which was a lovely addition. The property is accessed by a small lift as it’s on the 4th floor. Next door is a fantastic restaurant too!

Nothing, it was all perfect.

The host was very friendly, the kitchen and snacks were available all the time, which was very nice. The location is also great - close enough to the train station and close enough to all the attractions to walk.

The breakfast is the same food that is availbale through out the day - so more like snacks and foods from the fridge. I guess it's fine for a couple of days, but we stayed 5 nights, and we had to go out at some point because we wanted some proper, freshly cooked breakfast. Also, there was not enough hot water in our room, or it would run out really fast, so only one of us could take a hot shower, the other one would have to wait

I had a fantastic stay at Domus Alberti Bed & Breakfast. It was the perfect location within walking distance of the main sites and attractions of Rome. It was very clean and well looked after. I was made to feel very welcome. Apin was always very helpful to me and it made my stay so much better. She was very accommodating and she was able to provide me with recommendations in the city of Rome. Apin was the perfect host. The kitchen had some well stocked available food for breakfast which was very useful before setting off into Rome to discover the sites of the city. My room had all the facilities i required which included a well stocked fridge of water each day. It had a very good shower and a comfortable bed. Very happy with my stay and i would like to return one day.

I liked everything.

Clean rooms although the bathroom was letting a smell into room but opening the window fixed this. Very good location and the highlight was the lovely Apin. She is a wonderful host and very accommodating. She always would go out her way and told me places to visit etc…

Everything was fine just the odour coming from bathroom. Im sure if i told Apin she would try to fix but didn’t want to hassle anyone and by opening window this sorted this during my stay.
