Shout out to the cleaning gentleman who really carefully cleaned every room daily. The best ever. Breakfast was a little bit of everything, not too much but just enough. The pancake maker and the juicer were pleasant surprises. Especially the juicer, which enabled us to make up our own healthy juices every day. Compared to other accommodations in Rome, this one is great, of course expensive (this is Rome) but a good value for money, in comparison with some alternatives. Good strategic location to the main touristic spots, Trastevere and Vatican. And yes, I loved the modern industrial design of the rooms as I am not a huge fan of antique design. The size of the room was perfect.

The room had no direct daylight but that was camouflaged with smart interior design.

I really liked the location of the hotel, it's just 10 mins walk from Vatican City. The hotel was not on the main street but a street parallel to main street. If you have a stroller it would be little difficult to move. The room was nice, I took a room with balcony and balcony was equal to the size of the room. The balcony was not covered so we couldn't use it as it was too hot. The breakfast was quite nice, it didn't have much options but it was good enough for a healthy breakfast. The staff was quite good and they were willing to help always.

The Wi-Fi was shit, I was on the 4th Floor and the Wi-Fi was disconnecting every 20 mins for a duration of 5 mins. So if you are planning to work from there then I would suggest you to choose some other hotel. The lift was very small, it could fit max 2 people, so if you are on top floor like I was, you might have problem to go up and down.

Hotel was very clean. The reception area offered fruit and suits which was a nice treat for the children. Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was beautifully displayed and my children really enjoyed it.

The gluten free breakfast was mainly cake and biscuits which I didn’t really fancy at 8am. Bread was provided but it would have been nice to have been able to toast it. If gluten free croissants were offered with fruit or even gluten free cornflakes (our other hotel had these in little packets) that would have been ideal.

Breakfast was really good and complete, with charcuterie cuts, cheeses, pastries, cereals, bread, fruit, and even a juicer machine and a pancakes machine. Beds were very comfy to my like (rather hard and firm feel, new mattresses). Location was perfect, and in a quiet alley by the river, just 15 minutes away on foot from Trastevere, Vatican City and Pz Navonna. To reach the hotel, bus 64 from Termini Station will serve you well leaving you just 5 minutes away from the hotel. The staff at the hotel all were vey friendly and attentive

The shower tube was very narrow, and there was no liquid shower gel provided, but a soap disc, which some would not be used to. Other convenience items such as liquid shampoo, slippers or shower hat were provided.

Great location and close to St. Peter and River Tiber. Room was newly renovated and love the modern decor. Staff was friendly and helpful. Did not try the breakfast due to the additional cost.

I was surprised breakfast was not included. There isn't anything close in the area other than Caffe Rovere on the corner. I was not willing to pay 30 euros for me and my wife. I have to say there was a slight sewage odor in the bathroom, but not overwhelming. Not much of a view, but not a major issue since hotel is in a great location.

Clean rooms and excellent front desk (helpful, courteous, top marks all round). Enough electrical outlets to simultaneously charge multiple cell phones, tablets, laptops etc.

A bit away from the centre of town - and that’s only because most of our tour activities were around there. The steps leading up to the hotel entrance seemed a bit shady at first glance, but we can understand that the city opted to retain its historic look-n-feel. After the second day, this did not matter at all.

I thought the toiletries could have been better with individual shower gel and hair products like shampoo and conditioner rather than having a combined shower gel and shampoo. I small plastic bottle for the toiletries were not very helpful in the shower as they were oval is shape and did not stand up on their own which made them a nightmare to use in the shower. also I though there could have been a coffee machine in the breakfast area rather than a single filleted coffee machine which was Luke warm when I used it.

Fab location. Cannot fault this hotel...excellent facilities, room spotless, staff friendly and helpful, great continental breakast. Loved the excellent lighting in the room and the quirky glass covered floor. No charge for the safe, and fridge with minibar. Tea/Coffee and Kettle in the room. Bathroom well designed for ease of use. Hotel gave us a small bunch of flowers for international womens day which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend.

I absolutely loved everything about the Hotel La Rovere. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and helpful, the room was amazing with my very own large balcony complete with great view, the room itself was large and so clean. The location is also excellent, in the Trastevere district. I enjoyed the breakfast very much, and had at least 2 cappuccinos every morning and they were delicious.
