Rome and Domus Giulia was my partner and my first stop on our holiday. The location was perfect- with views of the river and within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions/ restaurants! We loved that it wasn’t too busy/loud around this location but that you are still so close to everything. The staff were incredible! Very helpful and always happy to answer any questions we had! We loved the breakfast in the morning- awesome selection and we could order eggs/coffee which was great! Will definitely stay here again The rooms were comfortable and clean- a great place to relax after a day of walking

The location was central to the sites we wanted to see. We could walk to Vatican City, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Pantheon, and Castel Sant'Angelo. It is also within walking distance to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, but we opted to catch a Taxi because of tired feet trying to do too much in one day. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The breakfast was included in the room rate. It was amazing and personalized!

It was a little difficult to find using google or apple maps - but this is mostly a technology issue. The shower has a little bit of a mold problem - but the rest of the room and bathroom were very clean!

Giulia was an excellent host, we really felt cared for during ur stay. We had to leave really early for our plane home, and Giulia made a to-go breakfast for us. Even though this is not a hotel, the regular cleaning made it feel like it was, but during the day and the night-time you are on your own, which is also nice. The location is excellent, you are literally 15 minutes away from amazing restaurants, cafés, all around you.

The location was great and our host was very nice. They made it very simple to access the room out of normal hours and our host made sure we had everything we needed at breakfast with fresh eggs and great coffee! There was a problem with our room because of booking.com, but our host did everything she could to make sure we were still comfortable.

Traffic noise was quite loud outside our window (river facing room). The shower looked like it had seen better days. Otherwise not too much to complain about.

Everything was great! The room was bigger then excepted and everything was clean and organized. It is well located and breakfast was various with the service taken care of us. The Owner was friendly and he took care everything we needed. It felt like a second home here. Recommend this!

Good location Easy to reach from Termini Station Very very clean, litterally bathroom is like shining diamond very generous comlementaries like coffee tea biscotti etc Very various and rich breakfast that I every have in Europe Hotels. Despite the room is located next to the main road, it was silent and good sound-proof minibar prices are okey like market shopping bed was so comfortable Especially dear Lariel was so kind, helpfull about staying and also city visiting planning. I recommend this place everybody but especially anyone who looking for a safe, silent and peacefull place.

I was little concern at the first sight, but once I enter the property. I was delighted. Clean facilities. Great host, Rommel. Rommel help us with our luggage and answer all questions. Area was safe and I felt totally secure inside the building. The location is centrally located. .5 mile from Vacitan City and 1.5 mile from the coliseum. Several food locations within 10 minute walk. The hop on hop off bus two blocks away. City bus route a block away.

No ice machine on the property. No microwave in the room.

* A lovely stay at the edge of Rome's heart * The host or, to be more precise, the employee, Lariel, was exceptionally kind and welcoming, always there but not pushy in any way. We were impressed by that. The guest house itself is convenient and in some way charming. It had everything we needed. Breakfast was sufficient and suited our needs. Lariel was always asking for coffee etc. or scrumbled eggs. Of course, it could have been more varied. But don't forget, you are in a (small) bed and breakfast and not a five-star-hotel. Domus Giulia is well or very well located, depending on what you want to do and see. If you want to see Vatican or Castel Sant'Angelo, it is perfect. Moreover, you are at the edge of the city centre, close to Piazza Navona. Many restaurants and shops are close. Also it is, for example, not far from Trastevere. You can reach anything by walking if you want to. You can take busses, as well. There are some stops which bring you to different directions. But be aware that in Rome busses often don't come at the planned time and sometimes whole lines do not arrive at all (happened to us 2-3 times).

Nothing actually worth being mentioned. A bit more toilet paper in advance could make a little improvement. :)

There are so many great things about this accomodation, so let's start from the beginning 😀 1. Staff - Rammel was an amazing host! Very kind, friendly and more than helpful! It is very nice to see an employee who is dedicated and devoted like it's his own business. This is extremely important when you are visiting a city like Roma for the first time, where you need all of the possible help to get around. So for Rammel, 100/10 from us! 2. Location - B&B is on a pleasant walking distance from most of the attractions you would visit in Roma. Right across the bridge is the Castle of St Angelo, Vatican.. on the other side, main streets such as Via di Vitorio Emanuelle is right in front of the accomodation, and it takes you further to visit places such as Navona square, Pantheon, Spanish steps, and from there Via del Corso as well. 3. Cleanliness - rooms are clean and very well organized, sheets and towels are nice and soft. Everything smells very nice and charming. 4. Breakfast - good breakfast actually. Continental buffet where you will definitely find something to enjoy. Fresh coffee, cappuccino etc every morning for guests. Rammel even remembers what guests like to drink in the morning, which comes as a personal touch 😀 5. Overall experience - not much to add, we were very happy and we had an amazing stay in Roma thanks to Domus Giulia and Rammel. We really hope to come back to Roma soon and Domus will be our first choice for staying. I hope this review helps to all of you who are thinking about booking this accomodation
