Check in was simple and the keyless entry was extremely convenient. We arrived earlier than check in and they were really accommodating with letting us into our room early! The room was beautifully decorated and spacious. We were also really impressed with the bathroom and cleanliness of the entire place. The best part about this property was the location! Walking distance to everything and off the main roads so it was quiet.

The breakfast seemed expensive for what it was so we did not participate. We liked the keyless entry but the system on the door took some time to figure out how to get the door to lock upon leaving. Once we figured it out it was easy. Staff was only around until 4pm.

I chose Relais Giulia based on location, which was superb for what our itinerary was. We enjoyed a complimentary upgrade to a suite which was just beyond any expectation we had. It was beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable. We took breakfast one morning and it was very good. This is a beautiful property with a very friendly and helpful staff. We would return and would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay near the river and within walking distance to the Vatican.

We loved everything!

Beautiful room very spacious. Bathroom amazing especially the hydro bath. Location was perfect walking distance to most landmarks or plenty of busses if you don't fancy a walk. Lots of great restaurants nearby.

Shower pressure wasn't great didn't really get the effect of a rain shower but is a very old building. Bed a little firm for us but that's a personal preference No where to plug in the kettle near the drinks area so had to plug in on the floor, but that's it. Would definitely return !

Relais Giulia was located perfectly for our stay. We were able to easily walk to the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Piazza Navona. The walk to the Coloseum was a bit further but still not bad. We spent most evenings in nearby Trastevere, which was a short and peaceful walk. Also, upon drop-off at our hotel our cab driver informed us her credit card was machine was “broken.” Jonathan at Relais Giulia so generously lent us the cash to pay for the cab so that our first moments in Rome could be relaxing instead of looking to find an ATM.

This was our second time at Relais Giulia and we loved everything- the beds are the most comfortable in the world, the location is amazing, rooms are quiet and very clean, the staff is helpful and kind, the experience overall is terrific

I think you can add some vegan options for breakfast, for instance an almond milk to go with the fruit and granola, or a nut spread such as pistacchio spread or peanut butter. And also, place the vegetables in a separate platter from the meats to make them appetizing to vegans as well

Loved ever single thing about Relais Giulia. You can’t ask for a better location in the heart of Rome. It’s walking distance from the Vatican and just a few blocks away from the Pantheon and Fontana di Trevi. The hotel itself is lovely - boutique style with charming rooms on a safe, residential street. The room was clean and comfortable with rustic old world charm. Clean linen, clean bathroom and comfy bed. Great housekeeping. The customer service was exceptional. Our host at the hotel was a kind, helpful, and friendly gentleman who gave us great advice where to get our first memorable meal in Rome. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. We can’t wait to go back to Rome and will definitely be staying again at Relais Giulia.

Charming boutique style property that makes you feel like you are in your own Roman apartment and not just a boring hotel room. We had the S4 suite and it was roomy and fantastic.

Location, quiet street but close enough to some fantastic restaurants and transport links around Rome. An easy 10 min walk to the vatican. Fro t of desk reception were really helpful and knowledgeable. Helping with laundrette and transport.

Breakfast was adequate, scrambled egg was offered but for 10 euros a pop, I thought it was expensive. You could get fresh orange, couisants, and an array of hot breakfast options in nearby cafes.

The staff were amazing. The man on the front desk was so helpful, friendly and just a genuinely nice person. The room was a good size for the three of us and the bathroom was nice and big too. The location is perfect for accessing the main attractions and also some amazing restaurants. Even when we wanted to have dinner in Trastevere it was only a 15-20 minute walk along the river. It was also very quiet at night, so no problems with sleeping.

The staff was excellent! The staff would introduce themselves and offer help with anything. This was our first visit to Italy and it vas so important to us to feel at home and welcomed. The room was so beautiful and romantic! Ask for Suite #4 The breakfast is an additional charge of a$10, but well worth the price! My husband and I were very comfortable there.

I don't think that there was anything that could be improved upon!

The location in Old Rome was excellent. It was so convenient to walk through charming neighborhoods. The decor was tasteful, and it had a lovely little breakfast room with substantial fare. Best of all was the extremely gracious host, who let us leave luggage, check in early and settle in to the breakfast room midday before our room was open so that we could have a quiet place to work.
