Conveniently located walking distance from Termini but far enough away for peace and quiet. Friendly staff, great room (I had a balcony overlooking the church), walking distance to many restaurants and a wonder free breakfast buffet. You can walk to most attractions, or just go up to Termini and grab the metro or a bus. They also have a small lobby bar if you need a nightcap after a long day. As a woman traveling alone I felt perfectly safe.

lovely rooftop terrace with bar. fantastic view of Santa Maria Maggiore from our room and also the rooftop. pleasant breakfast selection which was just enough and saved us buying breakfast every day. excellent location - easy to walk everywhere, we did catch the metro to Vatican which was also easy. Close walk to Termini Station. friendly staff, someone always at reception. Also bar downstairs.

There were stairs to go up to the rooftop terrace, not accessible by lift. didn’t bother us but not suitable for someone with mobility issues.

Attentive staff and a good location.

The hotel clearly put commercial interests ahead of paying guests as they let out the bar and restaurant for private parties leaving no available facilities for their paying guests. Our party were refused a cup of coffee on the last evening as the facilities were catering for private parties.

Charming traditional old hotel. Excellent location. We had the deluxe room with a view over the square which is incredible.

The breakfast situation is a bit chaotic. 1 or 2 staff trying to do everything. You can't help yourself "because of covid" so these servers are trying to do everything - a bit slow. Also the hotel should consider its eco credentials: leaving lights on after cleaning rooms, disposable mini shampoo bottles etc. Finally, the drinks in the bar are very very expensive.

Great Basilica view from Deluxe Twin Room 519. Beds were very comfortable, especially pillows. The room was clean, and the curtains blocked the light from outside just perfectly. AC was OK, even though outside was 37'C that whole week. Breakfasts good, fruits delicious. View from the rooftop restaurant just breathtaking, but during first breakfast there were so many wasps that we decided to eat inside for the rest of stay. Location was perfect - lots of buses just opposite the hotel door.

The shower in the bath was very hard to use not to splash the water all over the bathroom, because the panel was too narrow to block the water. Wi Fi connection was poor on fifth floor - we could only use it very close to the door, as there was almost no coverage in the sleeping room. Cleaning person apparently didn't understand "do not disturb" red light and cleaned the room anyway, while we didn't need it every day, therefore we were leaving the red light on.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was completely helpful! Air did not work but opened a window to help. Wonderful location central to all the sites! The bar, main floor, had great guy, who was so helpful in giving suggestions on drinks and food. The rooftop bar had a fantastic view but horrible service! Sat there for 1/2 hr and then asked for service, got a few drink menus dumped on table and after 1/2 or so more decided we had waited long enough and just left! There was a bartender and a server. There were people but not enough to warrant the wait. They did have the Hookahs out and seemed to be more interested in business from those partaking. Needless to say, we had our pictures and chose to spend our money for drinks and dinner elsewhere.

The location is very great, within reasonable walking distance of most places, staff our nice, the view from the roof terrace is lovely, rooms are clean and comfortable

We've stayed in the hotel twice before and have always been happy but on this occassion, the breakfast wasn't great! not a bad variety but the 'hot' food was anything but, the scrambled egg was watery and cold. The rood top bar was never open when we went up there and I didn't like the fact the they where smoking shisha pipes inside the main downstairs cafe/bar when there was a designated area outside for this.

Our room was lovely with a view of the piazza and the basilica. Breakfast was very good, best scrambled eggs I’ve had in a hotel for ages.

Prices of drinks in the roof top bar were ridiculous, to the extent that very few people seemed to go there for drinks and so there was no atmosphere. One glass of wine was €15, much more expensive than other rooftop bars in the area. We enjoyed one drink there but then chose to drink in the local bars for a third of the price. A few euros cheaper would encourage more people in to the bar. We didn’t eat in the restaurant as it was also very expensive and there were so many lovely restaurants in the area which were much more reasonably priced. I think the hotel needs a more affordable restaurant for those who don’t want to go to the rooftop bar and pay those high prices. There is a small bar downstairs but this closed at 3pm and we never saw anyone in it!
