La Residenza

First of all... the aesthetic of the hotel was super pretty. The entrance was lovely with fairy lights and the reception is warm. Then our room exceeded our expectations. It was lovely and big. The bathroom was also very big, with 2 sinks and a big shower - so comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had a good night's rest. The location of the hotel is quite at the centre. With just around 7 mins to walk for shopping places (Sephora etc.) and touristic places such as Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna. Whenever we got a taxi to go to places further than that, a taxi was always on time and efficient (Uber). The breakfast place was lovely. The coffee was pure italian goodness. Bread, eggs, bacon, cheeses, hams, salami, tomatoes, juices, water, cereals, yoghurts, fruit, jams, honey, croissants, pasties... It was a lovely selection :) Perfect to keep out tummies full for our mornings. Staff was always helpful and our stay was amazing. La Residenza gave us very nice memories. Would recommend to anyone visiting Rome :)

Nothing really. There was a mini fridge in the room which you could pay for drinks. If I had to mention something... a free water would have been appreciated maybe. But other than that... it was a beautiful stay <3

Restaurant wait staff slow and not particularly friendly. Got a glass of wine long after the other people got their beverages. Eventually after quite some time had passed, I got up and asked if she forgot. Out of 6 people the food came at different times. Maybe they were having an off day or too busy with the outside patio people. We sat inside. The food was tasty when it came. The people we were staying with had good service the night before. Maybe had a different waitress and waiter. A bit disappointed as a Canadian in Italy for the first time, but stuff happens and the amazing breakfast buffet made up for it. (Cappuccino was delicious too!) and this hotel and Rome are so beautiful. I recommend staying here.

The whole property was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and there was plenty of choice at breakfast

We had a meal in the restaurant on our last night, the starter was lovely, but mains weren’t as nice (I ordered cod and the fish I was served was definitely not cod, I don’t mind other fish but would’ve been nice to know what I was going to be served) and the service was terrible. There were 2 young members of staff working, it started off well but they lost interest, didn’t take my partners plate away until after we had gone and basically after we had eaten we were completely ignored.

Stayed for 5 nights July 2023. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent. 10 min walk to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Very close to hop on hop off bus stop. Enormous bathroom.

Unfortunately, we had no real view from our room. As a non seafood eater I did find the evening menu limited as we had apid for half board. Very hot when we were there and the in room fridge is very small for keeping water cool for our days sightseeing.

The bathroom in our room was beyond expectation. Breakfast was simple but did the job. The location was great. While it could be quite loud due to construction happening on the adjacent street, it was not a huge problem. The staff were extremely helpful, especially when giving directions to major landmarks and how to use the metro. The restaurant was lovely and had some great options

It was quite a simple room compared to what was shown in the pictures above and the price of the hotel. However, this was not a big problem. The air conditioning was quite tricky to work out also which was not ideal when having to keep the windows open meant listening to the construction work.

Australian travellers expect at least tea and coffee making facilities and an iron and ironing board to press clean clothes on their arrival. Hotel had neither plus wanted €10 to store luggage as we arrived early. To avoid fee you had to sit with it in the lobby until room was ready. Weird charge! Staff were friendly and accommodating , hotel was in a quiet and central upmarket location 15 min walk to most historic sights.

fabulous small hotel. staff exceptionally lovely and the rooms were some of the cleanest we have found. The bathroom in particular was so clean it looked brand new. woke up each morning to the fragrance of pastries being cooked. we extended our stay by 7 days because of the quality of the little hotel. old fashioned in a most charming way and very well priced.

not a great fan of the breakfast but is an inclusion and very generous. we ate there every morning however as it gave us a great start for the day.

The staff was amazing. Friendly and helpful- the best we could have expected The breakfast and coffee was top notch. The location is walkable to many sights... Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, Pantheon. This seems to be in a very good part of Rome. AC was very nice and cold. Shower head was rainhwad which was nice and a handheld attachment too

AC was leaking on 3rd night- not the hotels fault and they were getting it looked at the next morning. Entance and libby were not the geateset.

I would like to give a shout-out to Myung (hope I remembered her name correctly). She is super helpful and patient. I request for a room change because of some noise problem in my previous room. While the other receptionist refuses my request without any hesitation, Myung looked deep into their system and found me the best and quietest room of the hotel. She is also kind to give suggestions for solo travelers on how to take the trains and avoid pick-pockets.

Staff was very nice and flexible and made things happen. Hotel and room very neat, location is excellent and quiet. Easy access to center of Rome and Borghese park. Food in restaurant was nice and well priced.

Room could have a rack to hang outdoor clothes. Now there is a wardrobe only which was a bit small to us.
