We loved everything!

We stayed at Maison Tritone for 5 nights at the end of a 5 week holiday in Germany, Czech Republic and Italy. We stayed in 4 star hotels during that time and found Maison Tritone was the best accommodation by far. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us. The room was very spacious, and the king size bed and the contoured memory foam pillows were very comfortable. As an Australian who doesn't speak a word of English and who relaxes watching Televisoin with a cup of tea, I particularly appreciated the 55inch colour television with English speaking channels including Netflix, and I also appreciated the tea & coffee making facilities that were provided as standard in our room. The bathroom was very luxurious, with marble walls and flooring. The shower recess was very spacious being about 90cm x 180cm with a non slip floor and a rain head shower fitting. Everything at Maison Tritone was wonderful, including its location. It had easy access to Barberini metro station & was withing 5 minutes walking distance to the Trevi Fountain and 10 minutes to the Spanish Steps. "perfetto"

I have been to Rome three times, staying in three different hotels. Maison Tritone is the one I'll return to. The room was huge, immaculate, and quiet despite the busy location. The breakfast was fabulous and the staff very attentive. Wonderful place!

It's on a very busy street in a congested tourist area. The building entrance and stairwell are a tad dark and grimy. However, once you're inside the hotel it's a different world, very quiet, clean and secure.

The staff is definitely the BEST of it. Frederico welcomed us and gave us many tips. It appeared that it is a family business so the other main staffs were also very kind to us. Another great value is the location. It's literally walking distance to the main attractions.

I think the less nice part is the entrance of the property. The hotel is just part of a floor in a building so the entrance is a bit hidden and not so pretty. It's an old building with stairs and an old elevator. It's not a big deal but if something could be improved, it's definitely that part.

What a beautiful stay for 8 nights. Perfectly located in the heart of Rome (literally a few minutes away from the Trevi Fountain). Maison Tritone is a small and intimate hotel in a historic building, with large, modern and comfortable rooms, offering all the amenities that you would need: comfortable beds, AC, fridge with minibar, large TV set, safe-box, full set of toiletries. Cleanliness is at its best, done every day in a thorough manner. Breakfast is fresh, good and diverse (with more options than I have expected). But what makes a real difference compared to other hotels that I've been to is the people in charge. Alfredo and his family running the hotel are always present, discreet, supportive and nice. Careful and proactive, they took care of all our requests, offered advice and even proactive help. The ladies that are in charge of the breakfast and cleaning - Cristina and Alina - are going up and above. Overall, staying at Maison Tritone was a great choice which definitely enhanced our visit in Rome and the area. We can only be grateful for the extra care shown to us and for the professionalism and kindness of its people. We cannot recommend it enough and we will definitely be back.

Maison Tritone is located in the perfect area of Rome. It is an easy 4 minute walk to Trevi Fountain and about 8 minute walk to Spanish Steps. Also, the Colosseum was about 23 minute walk from the hotel. We literally walked everywhere from the hotel which made everything easy. We also took the metro that is right across the street from the hotel. The Vatican is four stops away on the metro which was very easy to navigate and affordable. The hotel staff were phenomenal and we were greeted by a male staff we did not get his name. He met us on the curb when we were dropped off by a private transfer arranged by the hotel for a 65 euro fee from the airport. The male staff assisted us with our luggage, provided us with a map and explained the metro to us as well as provided us with multiple restaurants to dine in. The hospitality of the staff exceeded our expectations. They even arranged us a taxi to transport us back to the airport when it was time to check out. The hotel was very clean and we received room service daily. They provide fresh orange juice for breakfast which was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean hotel with friendly staff located in the heart of Rome.

The breakfast was good, but I would suggest better heating trays to keep the hot foods such as eggs warm. The rooms are small which the room size is listed when you book so can’t really complain about that.

Brilliant central location, beautiful property. Very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The staff were all amazing and couldn’t have done more for us. Breakfast was so nice, fresh fruits and cooked breakfasts. So much choice and served by wonderful staff. The room was immaculate and extremely comfortable. We had the Trevi room with the little balcony an the back of the property looking into the courtyard. Superb place to relax after a long day. Really close to the Metro If you need it and five minutes from Trevi fountain in one direction and Spanish steps in the other. We will most definitely be back. 😁

Exceptional hotel in a great location with fantastic staff. The rooms are big and week decorated. Breakfast usually starts at 8am - this one day we had a 7.30 am appointment and had to leave by 6.45 am. The staff showed up at 6.30 am just to set up breakfast for us! Don't let the street view of the hotel fool you. It is amazing on the inside. Bus stop and train station are right outside the hotel. Many bus routes run through here and connect you to every tourist site. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Trevi fountain on one side and the Spanish steps on the other. It has an elevator (not many hotels in Rome do).

They did not have an iron box or laundry facilities. There is a laundry service across the road that will wash and dry your clothes but not iron them.
