Breakfast was a basic buffet. Would have liked more variety

Paid on booking.com €311. That was the cheapest rate incl hotel’s own rate for a Tuesday night. The same room was €175 if booked nearer the time!

very professional and good breakfast

my room was quite unusual but as a solo traveler it was fine. however, the shower stall was so tiny that I at 5’2” and small, could not shut the doors while showering! very inconvenient. room 204.

Could not find a better location. In walking distance to all the “must have seen” (e.g. Trevi fountain, Collosseum, Forum Romanum, Pantheon, San Luigi dei Francesci, Forum Navora, …) and less than 100 m from the Bernini Metro Station where one can take the underground to e.g. the Vatican, the Termini Railroad Station, … . A special word about the hotel’s staff : extremely friendly and helpful !! Breakfast was good.

I would have prefered some view from my room but then again.

Breakfast in Italy is often awful, if you want to drink instead of a Capucino an Americano you normaly receive sonething awful. At Stendahl Hotel the quality of a black coffee was a nice suprise. Very nice place! Breakfast was good, the staff very friendly.

Internet access, I will never sign in for a internet access with Twitter or Facebook login. It is like You would ask me to give you my pin number for my credit card only to be sure i don’t take something fron the mini bar.

The entire staff was above excellent. Breakfast was at best a 5 out of 10. The evening bar and bartender were excellent. Rooms VERY small but we had a walk out balcony that was a wonderful addition. For great, priced right food for any meal, just walk in any direction less than 150 feet.

Breakfast food. Except for the pies offered, most everything else looked like a supermarket delivered the food. Eggs, COLD and tastesless, no bacon, Coffee was very good.

Good location; 5 mins to Trevi and to Spanish Steps and shopping area. Very nice breakfast room, water provided in rooms and breakfast selection was delicious. Staff also were fantastic

You are encouraged to book a time for breakfast but if the hotel is busy, your booking is irrelevant!

Location is brilliant and up keep of the hotel building and rooms , best beds the entire trips, nice dark rooms to sleep and for being in the heart of room you can’t hear any noise which is a major plus in my opinion. Staff were first class.

Compared to our other hotels (5 this trip) the breakfast was not as good. we only had it on the first day then opted to eat out but I was fine with that. it was just not as fresh as what we liked.

Hotel was in a convenient location next to metro stops and also a reasonable 16 min walk from Temini for travelers without luggage. Bathroom was very nice for the price point. Breakfast was good.

Room was very warm (26 C) and the a/c system was off for the winter. The only option was to open the window to a very noisy main street.

I found the staff very friendly. Being visually impaired, i was shown around and helped to familiarise with my surroundings. The room was small but comfortable enough. The minibar was complementary which was nice. I loved the location as the bus stops were right outside and tbs metro was a 2 minute walk away. I enjoyed regular walks to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps each morning before coming back for breakfast.

I was quite upset about the fact that there was no fresh gluten free bread/rolls despite a lavish breakfast. I was given fresh slices for my first morning then inedible gf toast for my second morning. When asked why I didn’t get fresh bread, i was told they didn’t receive their supplies. Then in the middle of my breakfast, someone announced that a staff member has gone to purchase gf bread. By the time it arrived i was full. On the third day, i got my own bread for breakfast and was served those inedible toasts once again. So if you are coeliac, its a good idea to buy your own gf fresh bread as the city has many GF friendly bakeries and restaurants.

Breakfast was great! Location was exceptional! Room was a little on the small side. The staff was amazing! I lost something not that important and the staff remembered I was looking for it and held it until the next morning! Very friendly!

Rooms could have been a little bigger
