If you advertise for having a spa, you should not try and charge €80 per person to use it. 5 star hotels have a spa included - without extra charge

The breakfast was all you can expect from a 5 star hotel. A wide spread of different options, as well as personalized service dedicated to fine tuning your meal to your specific tastes. Service was as good as it gets, it makes me wish we would have spent more time in the hotel rather than visiting the city itself!

The loud buzzing sound the rooms make when opening doors woke us up once each night at least, and there were a couple of minor issues; mainly the thermo being locked to 25°C and the minibars being stocked so full they couldn't close properly. The booked room stated City View yet our room only had the view of an inside patio, but it was a bigger suite than what was originally booked, so it's a mixed bag on that.

Staff was great. The receptionist escorted us to the room to explain facilities. Comfortable big bed. Great buffet breakfast with iron to order eggs, omelette, pan cakes, waffles, french toast etc. one of the best french toast and omelette I've had , served properly with garnish and sides. Good selection of cakes . Fresh bread and perfect croissants and fresh cheesecake Room service was excellent and responsive. We were provided with kettle and iron with board on request in minutes. A coffee machine was already in room and fridge with mini bar items. Good quality toiletries. Even had a bidet. Shower was excellent. Bathrobes provided. . Location was perfect right next to Palazzo Vanezia. Everything in walking distance. 10 minutes to colosseum on one side or Trevi fountain on the other. Start for very polite and professional definitely a five-star hotel. Highly recommended and much better priced than any other five stars in the center of Rome. Restaurant looked good with great many options but we did not try it as we were out delayed and having dinner outside. The restaurant had some seating Outdoors as well.

The left was a bit temperamental from the restaurant first floor.

Beautiful boutique hotel, small and elegant and tucked away on a little side street. Just a few minutes walk down a cobbled lane to restaurants and the nearby Colosseum. Around 15 minutes walk in the other direction to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and a little further on to the Pantheon. Very attentive and polite staff, room kept very clean, beautifully decorated and from our room we had a stunning view of the church behind. Breakfast, served 7am-11am, was also great, with a selection of hot and cold food. We ate in the restaurant one evening - food was a little pricey but it is fine dining so to be expected. A nice touch to offer a complimentary prosecco too.

For the star rating of the hotel it would have been nice to have complimentary refreshments in the room, over and above the free bottle of water on the first night only. The water was not replenished, and despite a coffee machine being provided the coffee was chargeable, there was no kettle or tea and as a Brit I did miss having a cuppa in my room!

Location is definitely a plus, it is inside the city centre and really close to all touristic attractions that any visitor would be interested to visit. Also staff is very polite and available to assist.

Not very good value for money. Hotel facilities are not that good and in some spaces a renovation might be helpful.

Staff were extremely helpful and efficient and just right in terms of friendliness and politeness. Noticed it was my husband’s birthday and wished him happy birthday. Very helpful and concerned when our phones were pockpocketed out in Rome Location is good for sightseeing, shoppong and eating Room was spacious and kept very clean and tidy by maid service. Bed very comfy. Shower was reliable and gave plenty of hot water. Pull-out shaving/ make-ip mirrior was very useful. Toiletries from aqua di parma were SUPER. Sweets at reception were yummy and continental breakfast was good.

Coffee maker in room seemed only to make espresso and in extremely small amounts. We had to unplug the fridge in order to plug coffe maker in. We were not using the fridge but other customers may have needed both items plugged in together? Air conditioning could only be used to warm the room and not to cool it down which seemed odd. We could open the window which helped but did make it a bit noisier Not much space in bathroom to put our own toiletries - just a small shelf which already held hotel items

The location of this hotel is perfect, within walking distance of all major sites like the Colosseum, Forum, Palatine Hill, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Navona. We ordered a private car to pick us up at the airport through the hotel at a competitive price making the travel from and to the airport convenient and easy. The breakfast was perfect for us, with a bit of everything brought to the table, excellent coffee, and smiling and friendly staff. Our room was behind the elevator with a little bit of noise, but far less than what I have had elsewhere. After a long day roaming the streets of Rome, sleeping was not an issue at all :-)

The room temperature was high, with no opportunity to open the windows. It might have been me being unable to get the ventilation working as it should.
