Unbeatable location and room 202 was a corner room with canal views

Not very soundproof unfortunately. We could clearly hear the guests in adjacent rooms but thankfully they were not too noisy

Thank you for the hospitality. I stayed at the hotel for just one day and didn't want to leave. The staff was friendly and supportive throughout. Pleasant surprises included a welcome drink and a sweet breakfast box.

One thing I didn't like: there was a slight smell of tobacco in the bathroom, and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from.

,The location is great, 5 minutes walking to the station,which is great when you have to catch up an early train. The staff was amazing, Omar was genuinely friendly and helpful. The hotel seems like it's been renewed recently, our room was big enough for a couple, and was extremely clean. We arrived a bit early and Omar went personally to check if the room was ready and asked it to be prioritised before our arrival. We didn't need the room right away, but it was awesome to see the flexibility and the helpfulness. Price wise, it's also great, we spent less than 90 euros for a night.

This is very personal, but the only reason I didn't give a 10 was for the bed. To us it was way too hard, but for the rest, this hotel was a nice surprise.

This is the most fantastic hotel - a great location, wonderful roof terrace with views of Rome including the Vatican and the NICEST and most helpful staff. We loved everything about the hotel and highly recommend it (we are a family of 4)

Nothing - it’s wonderful

The name of this place couldn’t be more fitting. Aside from Castel Sant'Angelo, the view from its terrace may be one of the best in the city. The room was newly renovated, spacious, impeccably clean, and featured a very comfortable bed. The shower was amazing, and the room was well soundproofed, ensuring a peaceful stay. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the impeccable attention from Gabriel and Flo. They went above and beyond to offer directions, thoughtful advice, and solutions to any issues we encountered.

Staff were excellent. Very friendly and knowledgable about the area, could advise resturaunts and shops for specific items. Gave advice about the Italian language and food. I'll definitely go straight to that hotel if I'm back in central Rome.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an incredible experience. The location is absolutely amazing, situated in a lively area with so much to see and do right outside the door. It’s also very convenient with easy access to Roma Termini, which made getting around the city effortless. The staff were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. They gave excellent recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, which really enhanced our stay. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, offering a perfect retreat after a busy day of exploring the city. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a vibrant and well-located place to stay in Rome!

In this case, I have to start before our arrival. Some days before going to Rome the hotel reached out via WhatsApp and they told us that they are looking forward to welcome us and asked at what time we arrive. As we took a bus shuttle from the airport to the central station they also send us a map and a short description of getting to the hotel. That was already a start I haven’t experienced in that nice way before. And this brings us to the staff. We had some talks to Flo and Abdul and they were just brilliant. They gave us some authentic food recommendations, were very very helpful and also gave us some tips for sightseeing and some specials. They really do an absolutely decent job and were available 24/7 via WhatsApp and at the reception and also always open for a small chat. The hotel itself is modern and the rooms are very nice and have a proper size. What’s also quite fascinating is there lovely rooftop where you enjoy drinks from the lobbybar or ofc your own beverages. There are small minors but with hosts like them it’s so enjoyable to stay there. We had an awesome time and if we go to Rome again we will stay at the Sophie Terrace hotel.

It was a bit warm in the rooms - but our fault as we didn’t use the aircon- and maybe a bit smelly. The walls seemed thin as we could hear a neighbour snoring and there was no proper place for putting the soap in the bath but in total we really had a great time and enjoyed the stay a lot.

The service at Sophie Terrace hotel was fantastic, the staff contacted us via WhatsApp prior to our stay to support with any pre-bookings and recommendations, and they were available 24/7 throughout our stay. They provided a complimentary welcome drink, complimentary welcome breakfast on our first day and also provided coffee / bar service to the room if we wanted during the stay. The hotel is approximately 15-20 minutes walk from the Spanish steps / colosseum and around 45-50 minutes walk to the Vatican. The service is the absolute highlight of this hotel and would really recommend for a small boutique hotel.

The rooms are a little noisy due to the alley behind the hotel which has bins collected, however they provide free earplugs for guests. They don’t have an iron board but can provide an iron. Huge thank you overall to the staff

The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Gabriel welcomed us so warmly on arrival, and we got welcome drinks to have on the rooftop terrace. He sent us restaurant recommendations via WhatsApp. The rooms were modern, spacious and very clean. The location was great - so close to Termini Station and also 15-20 mins walk from Trevi Fountain and Colosseum. The rooms were cleaned every day during our stay. We forgot to bring our ID for the colosseum but Flo kindly forwarded images of our passports instantly when we contacted on WhatsApp. We can't recommend this hotel enough. It was definitely not your typical 3 star for sure.
