We stayed for 4 Nights during September and had a great time. The room had all the facilities you would need for a stay and was quite spacious with a small patio with a table and chairs. Breakfast was continental style with usual cheese, meets etc. All of good quality. The location is excellent for trips, station, boats and bus. A 5 minute walk to the centre where there are lots of good restaurants.

Matthew was on reception every day until 8pm, helpful, friendly and accommodating. We had 2 rooms, friends traveling together and we loved the hotel. The location, the breakfast each morning was brilliant. loved loved loved the place and will come back.

Location and room. Very nice lady at breakfast.

Santa Margherita was very commercialized. Restaurants had no appreciation of or interest in our custom. Also do not visit Portofino. They are only interested in millionaires and celebrities. Food was very, very expensive and poor quality..Ferry back to Santa Margharita is not worth the money. Overall I found the fast majority of Italians in this region rude and arrogant.

MA Hotel is a quaint, friendly and welcoming environment. The owner, Matteo, makes you feel special and invited. We stayed 4 nights and loved it. The location is perfect, close to the town center and also a quick 5 minute walk from the train station. The rooms were quiet (even being on a busy street) and the renovated bathrooms are luxurious - two person showers with two shower heads! Breakfast was plentiful and Matteo was always available if needed. I highly recommend this hotel for all types of travelers - single, couples and even families.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Santa (fabulous location), clean and tidy, great breakfast. Best of all were the staff, who couldn’t have made us feel more welcome and were super friendly! We forgot our iPad and they even sped up to the train station to catch us with the iPad before we boarded a train. Thank you for a memorable stay.

that is very cozy, and the staff: mateo and theresa are excellent people very kind and always looking after you. the apartment is nice and comfortable. the location is perfect! near the station and near the centre.

there is too much noise between the bedrooms. you can hear what the other is doing.

Comfortable and spacious room, modern and very good shower, great breakfast (possibility to have breakfast in the garden outdoors). Superb location close to the main pedestrian streets full of restaurants and shops, and also within a very short walking distance to the main square, the beach, the ferry port & the train station.

A little noisy (not at night though) as the window of the room was facing the back of a nearby restaurant (its kitchen).

The location was brilliant.5 minute walk to water & ferry and a 2 minute walk into the square with eateries & shops. 10 minute walk downhill from station.

There was nothing we didn't like 😀
