What a location - 90m from Il Campo ... wow!

There was street noise at night time - this surprised me because the street was quiet during the day. But to be so close to the Campo ... seriously, who cares about some noise!!

This property was super clean and spacious. The staff was very nice and gave us clear instructions on how to get into the ztl zone (no cars allowed) for drop off of our luggages. We were able to drop off our luggages prior to check in which allowed us to roam around freely. Thwy had great communication via WhatsApp. Its steps away from the main center is Siena and there are many souvenir shops and restaurants around. We felt super safe and at home throughout our stay not only in the property but also in the city center. Breakfast was nothing special but good enough.

The ztl zone was a little annoying but they accommodate

The location was incredible. You could see Piazza del Mercato and the top of Torre del Mangia from the window, and it was just a minute walk to Piazza del Campo. The host was very communicative, sent us detailed instructions about the parking. We also received a QR code for a parking discount, which was easy to use. The breakfast was good, and we were in awe of the lady who had to coordinate which room was having it at what time, with groups of people changing their time last moment. She did a great job. We had one dinner at La Finestra, the restaurant owned by the same person as the B&B. It was very good and the discount was appreciated. The internet worked great.

Room a bit small for 4 people. Also, this was not the staff's fault, but they were unable to get us a taxi to the train station in the rain, apparently taxis don't run in the rain. We walked half an hour, only to miss the train anyway. Just leaving this here for other travelers to plan accordingly.

Central yet quiet location with a stunning view of the Torre del Mangia. Countless restaurants within a few minutes walking time. All of the staff are very kind and helpful. The parking lot „Il Campo“ is also quite close. All in all, I highly recommend staying at „Al Mercato“ if you are planning a visti to Siena.

Everything was perfect! General reminder for Siena, the old town is a limited access zone for cars. Use one of the many parking lots at the entrance to the old town.

This is a fantastic find in Sienna. The host is most welcoming and very professional. She goes beyond any other host we've encountered. The rooms were comfy and quiet, plus the breakfast is great. As for the location, we are close to everything and walked around the sites. Very close to the grand piazza plus Duome. As a bonus the restaurant downstairs is associated and the food is amazing. Highly recommend this B&B

Can't falt this place, they are so welcoming

Fantastic location; couldn’t have been better. Friendly and helpful staff. It was my wife, six year old son, and me, and we had a wonderful time. The hotel is literally steps away from the Piazza del Campo, and it also looks onto another charming square (the Piazza Al Mercato). Easy walking distance to anything you’d want to see in Siena, and nice and clean. Very happy that we stayed at Al Mercato B&B.

AC unit in our room was a bit old maybe, didn’t do the greatest job cooling the place, but honestly that wasn’t a major issue for us, even in the July heat.

The location was perfect for us since we were able to park just outside the ZTL and walk with our luggage to the hotel. It was a medium-length walk, but easily doable for those with moderate fitness and ability. It's right next to the Palazzo Pubblico and some really great restaurants. I would happily stay there again if I return to Siena. (note that the property may be unsuitable for those who have trouble with stairs).

Excellent location, very clean and spacious room.

We stayed there for 3 days. The second day the room started being cold and the heating was not working. The third day it was even colder and we complaint about the heating not working. We had been told that there were issues with the heating system and that someone will visit to room to look into it. A few hours later we received a text that apart from heating issues, there would be no hot water. We asked for a portable heating device which was delivered to us late evening. We appreciate that boiler breakdowns can happen to anyone but we would expect the hotel to deliver heating devices without us asking several times for those.

Everything was amazing. Starting with the contact with the hotel before our arrival, to the welcoming us and giving us pieces of advice. The location is perfect, the room is really nice with the large bed and well-equipped bathroom. A pleasant surprise was the breakfast - typical Italian with pastries and biscuits but we could take those away for snacking later in the day,which is a great option. Totally recommend.

The lighting of the room could be better but that's a minor issue.

I loved how close it was to the main plaza/square of siena. It has a beautiful view of the tower, at least from the window of our room. It is well-decorated in a very Tuscan style (big shocker in Tuscany lol) and the staff are wonderful.

If you are in a major rush, the breakfast might not be for you. It was a bit of a small room for the people in the room, but the food was still good. Honestly, anything that was an issue we got fixed by the staff.
