Excellent location literally 5 minutes by foot from the famous and impressive piazza del Campo. The high ceiling room is nicely decorated and well isolated (no noise). This comfortable B&B includes other rooms (like if these were separate apartments around the central living area used for the good breakfast) and is accessible by elevator or the staircase.

The price (quite high compared to other beautiful B&B and hotels we stayed at). Unrelated to the B&B itself, the ZTL if coming by car: you need to enter the old city by the opposite gate in the city walls (porta Romana), drive to the hotel through streets with many pedestrians, quickly unload the luggage and then drive back again to the authorized access gate (porta Romana) and - by the outside of the walls - reach the closer gate and finally walk to the hotel. Knowing this in advance. it is easier to leave the luggage in the car and enter only by foot with a smaller bag.

Amazing place right near the center of Siena, maybe about a block or two away from the main square. Close enough for easy access, but the building itself was very quiet and felt private. There is an amazing pizza place really close by, and of course lots of amazing restaurants a short walk away. Everything inside felt clean and modern, and we loved the overall feel of the place. Siena itself was amazing, too, we spent 5 nights here but could have easily stayed longer! As far as getting here, we took a FlixBus from Rome to Siena, then took a taxi to the hotel. It was easy and low stress.

Our room did not have any dish towels, but that is a pretty minor complaint :)

Fabulous apartment in a fantastic position, very comfortable with great air-conditioning - it is exactly like the pictures. The host was incredibly nice and did not get even slightly irritated when my family took 30 minutes more to pack up in the morning. We were only there for one night so did not cook but the facilities for doing so were excellent. Of course, in the heart of Siena, you have to plan your arrival well. I suggest the simplest way is to park in Il Campo carpark and carry in just light luggage to the pedestrian zone. The minor inconvenience is necessary for maintaining minimal car use in beautiful Siena.

All was excellent.

The owners were accommodating, pleasant, and helpful about everything from parking and ZTL information to dinner recommendations. The room and bathroom were much larger than expected, clean, and a beautiful combination of old Siena with modern remodeling. The breakfast was fantastic, and the entire B&B was charming. My two kids loved the large twin beds! My husband and I would absolutely stay here again.

A very small thing: because the building is so old, there was a slight smell of sewage/old pipes coming from the bathroom when we first entered, but we just closed the bathroom doors and the smell went away after a while. Nothing that would prevent me (and bad smells / lack of cleanliness are at the top of my No list) from happily returning.

Beautiful building that was built in the early 1200's, such a boutique hotel feel and experience. The room was divine with grand ceilings, old fixtures, tall windows - it was honestly such a dream and such generously sized (like big). Bathrooms have been updated so beautifully, lots of stone texture yet minimal. And the breakfast was such a nice offering. The room kept to such a pleasant temperature even though a heatwave outside. Really responsive staff. This place was honestly amazing. Could not recommend higher.

Location: right in the centre of Siena, lovely ancient building, boutique hotel with just a few rooms. Siena is great for a 1-day visit.

Description says there is parking facility, this implies that the hotel is at a car friendly location. That is not the case! it is in the middle of an ancient city with steep and very small roads where you rather not go by car, my advice is not to enter the city by car at all. It is also a ZTL zone, the chance of making a mistake and break the rules that are not clear, parking wrong etc is huge.

Absolutely great hotel. Location is very central and close walking distance to the square. The car parking the hotel recommends is great and you get dropped off and picked up from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and super helpful with the best places to visit and restaurant recommendations. The hotel was very clean and room was huge, with a large comfortable bed with great amenities. Breakfast was also great, a good and yummy selection of food. We will definitely be back!

Nothing.

Very good all in all. The room, like a lot of Italian rooms, was a little spartan and would take very little to make it much warmer and more comfortable. A rug on the floor, some hooks for towels and perhaps a few drawers. But the important things were all excellent. Comfy bed, good shower, clean, plenty of space and extremely friendly staff.

We ended up not being able to get a taxi to take us to the train station on the Monday morning of the departure. Not the hotel's fault ... they called and called but the taxis were so busy they weren't even answering their phones. We ended up hoofing it for 30 minutes dragging our luggage along the bumpy roads. Bit of an adventure / workout.

Great location, lovely staff, exceptionally clean and well appointed.

The only issue I have is that the arrangement regarding parking should be clearer on Booking.com i.e. there is no on-site parking available and "private parking" is extra (€30 per day), offsite and optionally provided by a third party. After visiting Siena for the 1st time, I can (somewhat) understand this situation but it wasn't 100% clear (to me at least!) in advance. You can park outside the city walls at an extra daily cost (or if lucky free) after driving to the premises and dropping off any luggage. Driving through the city streets is not for a nervous or inexperienced driver. Notwithstanding the above I would recommend this property - it is less than two minutes stroll to the Piazza del Campo.

The property was beautifully restored and was located right near the city center so it was easy access to take a break from sightseeing or a short walk to the bus terminal to visit other places. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were super attentive and helpful when we needed assistance to navigate to Florence. The room was super spacious and decorated beautifully.

I have nothing negative to say about the property.
